Rachel Maddow discusses Sarah Palin's past, and wonders what her role might be with Trump TV.

I thought this was a great segment last night.

The only quibble I have with it is when Rachel suggests that Sarah Palin would have finished her first term as governor and run for a second term if she had not been tapped by John McCain.

In fact Palin was already in trouble here in Alaska, Troopergate, and many of the ethics charges that were filed against her after the pick as VP might still have occurred.

However I will admit that her arrogance and sense of entitlement was taken up to eleven by the time that she returned to Wasilla, and that because of her experience on the national stage she felt much too important to waste her time on anything as silly as Alaska politics.

As for her ability to "help" Donald Trump launch a new media empire?

The only thing that Palin could show him how to do is to fail, and then quit, which is essentially what she is now famous for doing.

I'm still of the opinion that it was something bigger than ethics charges that made her quit, and her house of cards was falling to where she couldn't lie her way out of it. None of it made sense, no matter how she tried to world salad her way out of it.

If Trump's campaign is any indication, while she's doing her thang behind the scenes, he is doomed to failure. You won't see me crying.

She pissed off "big oil" with ACES and they knew that Sean Parnell would make things right when he took her place, so she was forced out of office, and only too happy to leave, but she was forced out so that Parnell could undo all of her damage, which he did post haste.

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. "That's not the way the world really works anymore." He continued "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

Roger soon found out she was dumber than a box of rocks, she had zero work ethic, she was untrainable and she just wanted the easy money.

If Donald starts his on TV production, I highly doubt he will give Sarah a job or pay her millions.

  12. The 14 Defining
    Characteristics Of Fascism
    http://www.rense.com/general37/fascism.htm

In terms of this campaign and Trump's guiding light for his future plans.

    dsadlowski • 18 hours ago
Many Americans are little fascists now day's an do not even know it this movement took about 30 years to complete the Patriot act and Citizens United was pretty much the final nails in this experiment.

Reagan's Morning in America became the Mourning of America.

    1. Powerful "Nationalism" Reagan communicated to Americans after the failure of Vietnam Nixon and the mess left to Carter by the closing down of that war with a mass of people coming home from that war with no jobs gas shortages and hostage…….Reagan told Americans we were the “Beacon on the Hill and that we are EXCEPTIONAl Americans love those Mottos In god We Trust, One Nation under God all wrapped in a Commie Chinese made American flag they bought at NON Union Walmart as they are clinging to their bible and guns fearful of those desert dwellers in the middle east. .

    2. "Disdain for Human Rights" The Party gave us torture back and GITMO. Mandatory sentences for pot.

3.THE PARTY has their "Scapegoats" they have a list of them. How the southern strategy has worked for them for the last 30 plus years now. Blame and project what you are actually doing on that scapegoat.

4"Supremacy Military" …THE PARTY claims we are broke but always seem to find the money for WAR BUDGETS.

5 RAMPANT SEXISM" …THE PARTY has a war on woman and gays .

6 THE PARTY Owns "control of the media" FOX being one of them were they make the lies BIG repeat them often the other 5 conservative and corporate owned media pick it up it becomes truth in the eyes of the people..

7 THE PARTY’S "Obsession with National Security" gave us the Patriot act and NSA the rights to spy on us. First they went after them muslims most Americans did not care yet they were always spying on us.

8 THE PARTY courted the "religious right" now they act against the basic tenets of that religion. No food for you no shelter for you and damn sure no health ace for you……….Compassionate christians now say you can do it we will give you moral support and pray that you do now be like the little train that could I think i can I think I can.

9.THE PARTY Protects that "CORPORATE POWER" they are now "PEOPLE" with souls and morals they defend in courts and claim will have to in heaven.

    10. THE PARTY started "Union busting" during the days of ST REAGAN and 1984 came right on time. Right to work for less one RED state at a time.

    11. THE PARTY has a "Distain for the educated" and why THE PARTY is trying to destroy education with their Christian reconstruction creation bull charters and making profits off student loans and then making good Patriot serfs of them and not good citizen. .
12 THE PARTY’S "Obsession with crime and punishment" gave us the drug war 3 strikes laws mandatory sentences and our shoot first laws Militarization of police departments across the land

13 "Rampant Cronyism and Corruption" with Five Radical Male right wing social engineering judges to make it so for them. Bush' 33 million emails Hillary's emails blocking of people from the corporate media " cough cough Bernie or any their party”

    14. And how can we forget THE PARTY STEALING of elections 2000 and suppressing the votes and selling arms to Iran to hold those hostage just a few more days gutting voting right act.

Trump's Gettysburg Address (first two paragraphs):

Four score and seven days ago some women brought forth on this continent a bunch of lying lies against me, conceived in lies, and dedicated to the media movement that all men are not created equal, especially me, Donald J. Trump, who they are telling lying lies about.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure the smears and lies that the media are perpetrating against me, The Donald. I am met on a great battlefield of that war, the war of women telling lies about me and the media reporting all of it because they too are in a civil war against me, Donald J. Trump. I have come to dedicate a portion of those lies, as a final resting place for those who lied about me and must die so that our nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that I should do this, because I'm Donald J. Trump and everyone that is lying about me and is against me must die but I'll always remember them, and their families and their family's families, as I’ll kill them all for 5 generations and have my descendants burn their remains and piss on their ashes.
