The Libertarian VP candidate thinks that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified presidential candidate. Wait, what?

I am not sure that any of their campaign advisors bothered to inform Bill Weld that it is traditional to name the person at the top of YOUR ticket as the most qualified for the job, but perhaps somebody should get on that.

Though to be honest considering how flaky and uniformed Gary Johnson has demonstrated himself to be, you can hardly blame Weld for his moment of honestly here.

Of COURSE Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate running, that is why the smart folks have been for her from the beginning.

Trump already tweeted this summer that Weld is an alcoholic.
Wait for more of the same, if he can tear himself away from Hillary, Alicia, and Bill.
As a Massachusetts resident, I can list pros and cons about Weld when he was governor. But he's smart -- possibly the smartest of all of the candidates, followed by Hillary and Kaine.

His alcoholic brother's death had an effect on him and shaped his adult life. I bet he thinks he escaped his brother's mistakes and is an expert. He would know an alcoholic from far far away. You know like he spotted Sarah Palin.

Geez, he did not say Hill is "most qualified," he said "no one is more qualified." In other words, he sees himself as on a par with Hill, and Trump way below. He has said so before, in different words.

      As Hill said, words matter.

But he is NOT on a par with Hill, because a leppo would not have stumped her.

Following up, I have no knowledge of whether or not Weld is an alcoholic. Trump says the he himself never drinks, so he may think anyone who does is fair game to be called an alcoholic. Trump isn't tied to facts, anyway, so who knows? Winston Churchill, among many other leaders, was an alcoholic. I'd pit him against Donald Trump any day.

If I were responding to Trump I'd say " And you, sir, are a asshole unfit for any office,..but I can always stop drinking.

      Stolen loosely from Churchill

Apparently U.S. Grant had an exhaustive connection with liquor. When his enemies in the ranks of Civil War generals told Lincoln that, he told them "Find out what he's drinking and send barrels of it to our other generals". Trump is still an ass.

After watching Trump and Johnson and their show of vast stupidity I think the fear of Republicans is that if she becomes president then everyones going to have to start using their brains. Imagine if we have to think ourselves out of our problems without using the blame game. So hard for nincompoops. Just vote Hillary. After a year of that neanderthal Trump and that doofus Johnson, we can't afford to become the nation of Homer Simpsons.

Why it is imperative that we also vote down ticket. The GOP-led congress will cause her just as much trouble as they did President Obama, if not more because she's a woman.

LMAO That's what I like, an honest politician. Can anyone imagine someone like, say, Sarah Palin saying the same thing? I haven't seen McCain and Sarah together since they shut the lights, dropped the curtain, and left a teary Sarah wanting to give a never before done concession speech for a VP pick who caused her guy to lose big time because folks questioned his frame of mind and fitness to be president.
