The failing @nytimes story is so totally wrong on transition. It is going so smoothly. Also, I have spoken to many foreign leaders.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 16, 2016
I have recieved and taken calls from many foreign leaders despite what the failing @nytimes said. Russia, U.K., China, Saudi Arabia, Japan,— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 16, 2016
Geez, I guess we were wrong, it looks like Trump really does have the temperament to be the leader of the free world.Australia, New Zealand, and more. I am always available to them. @nytimes is just upset that they looked like fools in their coverage of me.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 16, 2016
By the way I have some bad news.
I have been pinching myself pretty hard for over a week now, and I am beginning to think that all of this is NOT just a bad dream.
I'm going to keep on pinching, but I'm starting to lose hope here.
I too keep thinking this is a bad dream and i will wake up. When they interviewed Al Frankin even he said he'd been nauseated.
ReplyDeleteFor the people that could see the ramifications of a trump presidency the results are truly horrifing.
What lie is president twitter twat trying to peddle now? He is beyond pathetic.
ReplyDeleteHow long do you think it will take them to learn that he can NOT get past himself? Being the most selfish fucker on earth has always been the first quality I look for in a candidate.
The embarrassment level is below earth worm shit.
Totally agree 11:49, that Trump is beyond pathetic. I don't doubt for a minute that the entire transition team (except for Don)is in panic mode. Not that they will admit it. Four thousand high level positions to fill...not gonna happen by January 20.
DeletePerhaps that was the REAL reason Dr. Carson got the Hell out of Dodge!!!
DeleteAlthough, I agree with him, isn't/wasn't qualified for the position offered.
I have a feeling that newspapers across the world will be splashed with headlines exclaiming how incompetent he is for the next few years.

ReplyDeleteNice try
DeleteBullshit. He is the world's worst pathological liar. When journalists report EXACTLY what he says, he denies it...when it's on tape. So fuck off, troll.
Delete@Anonymous 12:15 PM
DeleteGet lost Bristol/Sarah, you trash.
He lies? Like when he tweeted that the NYT lied about him saying that other countries, like Japan, should get their own nukes? He, like other Republicans always seem to forget about that thing called videotape.
DeleteInteresting how Drumpf is only targeting the NY Times.
ReplyDeleteThe conservative Wall Street Journal and others have also reported on the inner turmoil going on in his transition team.
This is how he works. It's party of the bully strategy.
DeleteHe knows enough not to start a war on multiple fronts. So he has chosen his target. He will work ceaselessly to destroy the New York Times. Then he will point to them and tell the others, shut up or I'll crush you too. It's an intimidation tactic. If they don't fall in line, he'll move to target number two. Probably the Wall St. Journal.
He'll get his buddies with money and influence to join him in piling on to take out the NY Times one way or another. And they'll do it because they "owe" him a favor.
Pay to Play.
I subscribed to the digital edition of the New York Times as a way to put my money in place of my mouth. It's not cheap, but neither is freedom.
DeleteHopefully, it will be come as 'defunct' as Gryphen's blog because they got so many new subscribers heehee :)
I have "Hope" I have Hope that the Electoral Vote will make History. And this is why we have a Electoral College Vote. Those with some brains will save us from a complete disaster.
ReplyDelete40 electors are NOT going to choose another candidate. He has 309 electoral votes. We'd be lucky if he only ended up with 306.
DeleteTrue, the electoral petition serves nothing but to show the powers that be that a lot of people are unhappy that the electoral vote "trumps" the popular, but it changes nothing.

"there is a huge difference between an FBI inquiry that proceeds behind the scenes (and that may or may not yield public information) and a full-blown congressional inquiry that includes open hearings and ends with a public report."the only Capitol Hill legislator who has publicly called for such an endeavor is Sen. Someone needs to say it . . . .There is something neurologically wrong with Trump. I knew something was up when he went after Hilary's health as he is the king of projection. What is it? Dementia? Alzheimer's like his father?
ReplyDeleteOr maybe he is just hellishly childish. Are we supposed to be impressed that he has talked to world leaders? Hell, he is the President-elect. And he needs to name the countries? Effing embarrassing.
It's been said over the past few days that the trump people aren't taking calls from the State Dept. and others. I heard even Defense. As well, that calls made to Trump Tower from some international leaders are not getting through.
DeleteWe've known this for months, since he started advancing in the primaries. He has more than one neurological problem.
DeleteSociopath, Narcissist. There could be Alzheimers or dementia involved too.
None of that matters. The Republicans knew Reagan has Alzheimers and wasn't fit for a second term, but they ran him anyway. Because they wanted to win. Winning is everything. Then they try to make it work.
I think they bit off too much this time.
Drumpf is definitely a projector onto others of his own things.
DeleteHe's 70 years old and could have the beginning stages of the disease that killed his father. It is now known to move through other family members.

A smaller minority, meanwhile, are calling on Democrats to stand on principle and oppose anything Trump puts forward unless he renounces his ties to toxic advisers."
That small minority are CORRECT!
This is why we lost. This is why the Democratic Party is fucked up.
He's got a Nazi in the Karl Rove seat!
Exactly what do they think they are going to compromise on? Registering Muslims? The Wall? Camps? Selling off our Federal lands to the highest bidder? Privatizing Social Security? Dismantling Medicare and Medicaid?
Are they going to roll over and play dead if Trump decides to keep one part of Obamacare as long as he can rename it Trumpcare? He *says* he wants to keep the precondition part and allow kids to stay on. But given their history, who knows what the Democrats are going to give away.
This is going to lead to additional losses in 2018 and then 2020.
Why do these assholes NEVER LEARN?
Exactly. I'm not saying to go hard left, but going to the right won't work. Mainly, the Dems need to stand up for something, for once after all these years since Bush/Gore of trying to get along. All the issues you bring up, and Choice, are going to need a fight.
DeleteWho’s Made Over 20,000 Donations To Planned Parenthood Since The Election? ‘Mike Pence,’ That’s Who!
ReplyDeleteSo here’s a silver lining in a week when we could use some: Since last week’s election, Planned Parenthood has received 160,000 donations. It probably helps that the organization rushed to reassure progressives the day afterward that they aren’t going away, no matter what madness comes out of a Trump-Pence administration. And it probably didn’t hurt that Elizabeth Warren made a point of going on the Rachel Maddow Show and encouraging people to volunteer instead of moping, specifically mentioning Planned Parenthood. But along with all the very much needed donations, there’s also a subcurrent of Expert-Tier trolling going on: Over 20,000 donations in various amounts have been made to the group in the name of “Mike Pence,” the anti-choice bonehead serving as Donald Trump’s Impeachment Insurance.
http://wonkette.com/608637/whos-made-over-20000-donations-to-planned-parenthood-since-the-election-mike-pence-thats-who
Supposedly women are sending Pence their menstruation blood as special presents. He deserves a car-load of them!
DeleteHe and Trump are horrid for our country and most especially for women!
They will need to be countered every step of the way!
At least with PP I can donate to people in need and I don't have to wish that my money won't be going to Trump voters. I'm stopping all donating that isn't very targeted. No way do I want what I give to end up helping Trump's racist and sexist (that includes females who obey and who honor men's lives above their own) voters--no more giving to just anyone from me.
DeleteSpeaking of, Trump just may have to actually start using his foundation for good and start handing out turkeys and toys for TG and Xmas. His fans are going to need it.
Good points 2:54. I will also start targeting my giving. (I already give to PP.)
DeleteBetter to send it directly to Planned Parenthood than to a middleman like Susan G. "I'm a shill for the Republican Party" Koman. They're exactly like Donald Drumpf. They solicit donations, then skim an administration fee to pay their salaries, then donate to those doing the actual research. So, like Trump, they're donating other people's money but putting their name on it.
Delete‘Trump’ Name Coming Off New York Apartments So Humans Can Rent Without Paralyzing Shame
ReplyDeleteNow that even the Trump Organization is running from the Trump name, it should be no surprise that, as of Wednesday, the name “Trump” will be taken off several Manhattan buildings by the owners, who have decided the name no longer screams “Luxury and success” so much as it just plain screams incoherently. The buildings, at 140, 160 and 180 Trump Place on the Upper West Side, were developed by Trump in the 1990s, but Equity Residential, the current owner, will be taking down the signs and actually changing the street name, because “TRUMP” doesn’t quite appeal to renters like it used to.
http://wonkette.com/608611/trump-name-coming-off-new-york-apartments-so-humans-can-rent-without-paralyzing-shame
There's going to be a lot of that going on. I only hope Trump lives long enough to see his name erased from all of his penis substitutes.

Professor predicted Trump win, says he will be impeached
ReplyDelete(CNN)The man dubbed "Prediction Professor" for accurately calling almost every presidential election since 1984, including the 2016 election, now forecasts the impeachment of President-elect Donald Trump.
"There's a very good chance that Donald Trump could face impeachment," Allan Lichtman told Erin Burnett on "Erin Burnett OutFront."
Lichtman, a political historian who teaches at the American University in Washington, says he uses his own system of 13 true or false statements to judge whether the incumbent party will retain the White House. However, when it came to his bold prediction of a Trump impeachment, he told Burnett it's based on his instinct.
"First of all, throughout his life he has played fast and loose with the law," Lichtman said. "He has run an illegal charity in New York state. He has made an illegal campaign contribution through that charity. He has used the charity to settle personal business debts. He faces a RICO lawsuit."...

ReplyDeleteWarren and Sanders are wrong, and in a way that signals a significant misreading of the landscape on the part of the most influential Democrats. I personally think Bernie Sanders is not qualified for any major national office.
DeleteLook at his record in the U.S. Congress. He's accomplished nothing and isn't looked upon all that well by the folks that work side-by-side with him! And, he's been there quite a long time!
Exactly. Racism was a key part of things. I know Bernie and Warren want to focus attention elsewhere, but they keep acting like there were no -isms involved, especially racism. Before the vote, they'd have not have said this. They'd be calling it like they saw it. You can agree to try making a new admin work, but that doesn't mean you have to stop talking about what actually happened or now see things differently. It's an insult to all the affected groups. And it's just not being honest. That's surprising, coming from those two.
DeleteNikki Haley being considered for Sec. of State. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting. Was in her SC state legis before becoming governor of SC. Not very impressive for someone who'd be fourth in line to the presidency, but I'd take her creds over Trump's any day. I's sad that Trump has so few people to consider for such a high-profile position. And even far fewer women of ability.
ReplyDeleteCould the Electoral College elect Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump?
ReplyDeleteQuestion:
Can the Electoral College elect Hillary Clinton on Dec. 19?
Answer:
Yes, it may be constitutionally possible; but no, it will not happen, according to election experts
FULL ANSWER
A Change.org petition, now signed by more than 4.3 million people, encourages members of the Electoral College to cast their votes for Hillary Clinton when the college meets on Dec. 19. The petition argues that Donald Trump is “unfit to serve” and that “Secretary Clinton WON THE POPULAR VOTE and should be President.”
“If they all vote the way their states voted, Donald Trump will win,” the petition states. “However, they can vote for Hillary Clinton if they choose. Even in states where that is not allowed, their vote would still be counted, they would simply pay a small fine – which we can be sure Clinton supporters will be glad to pay! We are calling on the Electors to ignore their states’ votes and cast their ballots for Secretary Clinton.”

ReplyDeleteNSA Head Openly Accuses Russia of Using Wikileaks to Get Trump Elected
ReplyDeleteEverything in this country is so goddamn wild right now, it’s easy to miss things. Which is why it’s worth noting that the head of the National Security Agency just openly described Wikileaks as a tool of a “nation-state” (that’d be Russia), which deliberately used targeted leaks to get Donald Trump elected.
Admiral Michael S. Rogers is the head of the National Security Agency and the Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command. Here he is onstage at a Wall Street Journal conference held on Tuesday, giving a pretty good indicator of how the intelligence community of the United States feels about Wikileaks.
“There shouldn’t be any doubt in anybody’s mind,” he says, “This was not something that was done casually. This was not something that was done by chance. This was not a target that was selected purely arbitrarily. This was a conscious effort by a nation state to achieve a specific effect.”
As our colleagues at Gizmodo have extensively covered, Julian Assange has sworn up and down that he wasn’t trying to influence the U.S. election, and the United States already formally accused Russia in October of stealing emails from the Democratic National Committee and elsewhere.
But while President Obama might have some form of retaliation in mind, he has less than 70 days before his burnt sienna successor takes office. Putin and Trump already had a friendly phone call two days ago pledging to fix relations between their two countries, after which Russia promptly launched air strikes in Syria. (It’s unclear if Trump and Putin managed to get around to talking about Syria, or if Donald Trump has been briefed on what Syria even is.) John McCain, of all people, has warned that a change in U.S. policy towards Russia would amount to “complicity in Putin and Assad’s butchery of the Syrian people.”

ReplyDeletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-meeting-foreign-leader_us_582cecace4b030997bbd71fb
ReplyDelete"One day before U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s first meeting with a foreign leader, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Japanese officials said they had not finalized when or where in New York it would take place, who would be invited, or in some cases whom to call for answers.
Uncertainty over the talks shows the difficulties in turning Trump from a freewheeling businessman into a sitting president with a watertight schedule and a fully functioning administration by his inauguration on Jan. 20.
Japanese and U.S. officials said on Wednesday the State Department had not been involved in planning the meeting, leaving the logistical and protocol details that normally would be settled far in advance still to be determined.
“There has been a lot of confusion,” said one Japanese official.
The meeting was only agreed to last week and Trump and his advisers have been busy in meetings at his headquarters in Manhattan’s Trump Tower in recent days to work out who gets which job in the new administration.
While world leaders sometimes hold loosely planned bilateral meetings at regional summits, it is unusual for foreign leaders to hold high-level diplomatic talks in the United States without detailed planning. Abe is on his way to an Asia-Pacific summit in Peru.
State Department spokesman John Kirby said that to his knowledge, Trump’s transition team had not been in contact with the department either to discuss the transition of government or to seek information ahead of his meetings with foreign leaders."
Oh, yeah. Things are going fine. Just peachy.
Just imagine what kind of impression the Trump administration is giving to foreign governments.
