Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is scheduled to be in Michigan on Sunday campaigning on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The Trump campaign released a list late Thursday night of surrogates it is sending to battleground states over the weekend as part of a final push before Tuesday’s election.
Palin, the GOP’s 2008 vice presidential candidate turned political commentator, was listed as being in Michigan, but there were no specifics on when and where she will be in the state for Trump.
Trump campaigned Monday in the state, holding two large rallies in Grand Rapids and Warren.
Okay so we now know that Palin will be in Michigan on behalf of Donald Trump, so the only question for the campaign is where will she do the least amount of harm?
According to the latest Fox News poll Hillary is leading Trump by three points in Michigan, but I have every confidence that Palin can bump her up by at least two points with only one or two appearances.
One of the things that helps me to keep my sanity during this emotional roller coaster of a campaign season is the thought of how devastating a Trump loss will be to Sarah Palin, and how it will leave her brand even more damaged than when she jumped on the Trump train back in January.
I might even do a little gloating.
No one changes a vote because of a rally. She's never hurt a candidate before anyway.
