Uh, look I don't want to be unnecessarily contrarian here but what "cheers" do the folks at CBS think they are hearing?UPDATE: Donald Trump is greeted with cheers as he leaves meeting with the New York Times https://t.co/31saOhI0wR pic.twitter.com/tvAp4HPUyq

And is this what happens to the media in America?
Donald Trump takes them behind the woodshed and gives them a paddling and all of the sudden it is fluffy pro-Trump news from then on?
Why do I get the idea that I will soon have to move into somebody's attic and start writing my thoughts in a diary?
I'm worried about you too - along with Seth Meyers, and everyone else. I listened to that scary Omarosa tell us that they are full of revenge, and I believe her. That big orange bastard is pissed at anyone who disses him. I'm afraid for all of us. I'm wearing my safety pin, and donating money to the ACLU - what else can we do ?

Someone beat me to it. Jillstein recount.
DeleteI think it is more than possible that the networks will put pressure on Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert to either tone down the rhetoric or be replaced.
DeleteI don't know who owns HBO so I think Bill Maher and John Oliver are safe.
We already know what happened to Keith Olbermann. He's now relegated to Youtube and still on unstable ground.
Samantha Bee, I'm not sure who owns her network but I suspect she might be in the shakiest ground of all. Hopefully that won't shut her up, only move her to a more open minded network the Nazis have less leverage against.
I watch Olbermann and Samantha Bee on Youtube so with any filtering or censorship of the internet, I won't be able to see them any more.
Those who remember history are condemned to be drug along behind those who don't remember their history.
ReplyDeleteAs to your article about Trump beating up on the press - well - it is time for those folks to grow some big ones and start doing their job.
ReplyDeleteOT - I read a very good article on Raw Story today and hope you have time for it. It is rather long but worth it.

ReplyDeleteYou, start writing your thoughts in a diary -- pretty much how I felt when I supported Bernie and thought Hillary would not win, while he would: head to head with Bernie.
ReplyDeleteI'm back here, but still think Bernie is the best president American will never have.
Now, I'm not alone in thinking this.
One of my grandsons really was rooting for Bernie (he is 14). He also says he is more afraid of Pence than Trump - but they are both scary as hell to me.
DeletePat Padrnos
I was never into Bernie and still feel the same way.
DeleteDon't think he would have won had he been chosen to run for POTUS. And, I didn't think that all he wanted to do would ever have gotten through Congress. Could be wrong though!
Bernie would have been better than Trump.
DeleteBut then, who wouldn't?

DeleteTrump looks like such a second-rate mobster when he wears that long coat and hunches his way about town. That dress coat always emphasizes just how horrible a hunch he has.
ReplyDeleteThis is so true - I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Anyone notice that when trump arrived at Maralago there was a group cheering for him holding campaign signs. The signs were a dead giveaway to me that trump hired the group and gave them signs to make him look popular. Even at his rallies, his team handed out the campaign signs after people were inside. I'm sure he set that up after the "booing" send off after his meeting with the media. He always wants to control the narrative.
DeleteHope you have a friend with a heated attic.
ReplyDeleteDer fuhrer vill find you and have you deported. Along wit yur freund.
He's "greeted with" as he 'leaves' the meeting? That sentence doesn't even make sense! "Greeted with" is when you enter a room or meeting - not when you 'leave'!
ReplyDeleteyo, dumbass,
Deletehe was greeted by the rope line as he left - get it ?
There are so many negatives against this man now that he won't be inaugurated. Unfortunately we get Pence, but at least he is just a crazy xtian and not actually crazy.
ReplyDeleteMike Pence is even more of a hard line hard ass.
DeleteHe is more political. But not sure how that would help.
Just look at his track record in Indiana. Could end up even worse than Drumpf.
There were so many boos and other negative sounds. There were some idiots there to shake hands, but the boos were what stood out most.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they meant "jeers" not "cheers". That's what I heard.

DeleteThe Pussygrabber's daughter is going to advocate for women?
She thinks getting a new Twitter handle is going to distance her?
It's not going to help. That boycott must be impacting the bottom line.
Trump has already said he has no plans to go to the press, he is going to use twitter and his videos.
ReplyDeleteSo no one will be able to ask questions or challenge him. Those who do not have twitter or computers capable of viewing videos will be left in the dark.
This is just another way of censoring the press and he will be able to get away with a lot of corrupt and illegal dealings.
Welcome to the trump dictatorship.
November 8, 2016, the day democracy died in the USA.
Those who see and believe will be more in the dark than those who don't see his propaganda.

Green Party wants a recount?
ReplyDeleteWhy? They think they might pick up one or two more votes?
They think it might help Hillary?
Why didn't those geniuses think about that on the 1st of November or even before that?
Everybody told them if Trump wins it will because of Stein and that dipshit who needs help tying his shoes and needs help putting on his helmet with the blinking red light.
No, not because they think they'll pick up more votes.
DeleteThey'd rather have Hillary as President than Don the Con.
I had half a dozen parties on my ballot to choose from. While the Democrats and Republicans may be the largest party, our Constitution allows people to be a member of any party they choose and vote for anyONE they choose.
Oh, and Hillary didn't lose because of the third parties. Let's stick a fork in that dead horse.
So Trump doesn't want to confront the press?
ReplyDeleteIs he Sarah Palin without his makeup on? It's 2008 all over again.
Remember when Palin said anything, McCain had to come out and tell the press what she was really trying to say?
Just like Trump and the bottle blonde lady Conway. She has to come out and clean up the mess he made on Aisles 1, 2 and 4 thru 10.
Just a thought, if something were to happen to Trump before January 20th like choking on a biscuit or expires by some other means, who gets inaugurated on January 20th?
ReplyDeleteI would say not Pence. Pence would only become president if President Trump choked on a chicken bone after he was sworn in as president and passes away.
Would Hillary become president because she had the most electoral votes after Trump?
It is shy of two months before the inauguration. Who knows what could happen. Just pray nothing happens to President-elect Trump.
Ivanka would become president. Of all the kids she's the special one that excited him.
DeleteWe need all Muslims to come out of hiding, The Blacks, women and the illegal Mexicans that are afraid to come out of their apartments to become prayer warriors to protect our next president
DeleteI also asked this question, since they haven't been inaugurated yet.
DeleteI haven't had time to research, but intend to.
If you want the answer to President Elect succession, check this out:
Deletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President-elect_of_the_United_States
I think it would be the same as if the electoral college didn't have 270 for either candidate. The House would elect the president and the Senate would elect the Vice President.
DeleteCan't you see the man is busy? He has several good excuses not to attend Security Briefings.
ReplyDeleteThis is another example showing how the lamestream media is picking on President-elect Trump...
Everybody knows Vice president-elect Pence is the one responsible for domestic and foreign policies while President-elect Trump's job is to make:
Make America Great Again
Take care of the Trump Organization and make money. A man has to eat and settle lawsuits
Ask another government not to block the view of his golf course
Tell another government who they should pick as their ambassador
See what new business ventures Don and his daughter can gin up in Japan and other countries who shut him out before he became president-elect
Increase patronage at his Washington DC hotel by soliciting foreign countries diplomats to stay there while doing business in America
Settle his Trump University fraud cases
Threaten the women who claimed Trump sexually harassed them.
He's too busy texting back to back at 3am
Busy fighting the press and demanding meetings so he can chew out their asses.
Parade potential cabinet candidates in front of the press pool at his golf course for photo ops as if he's on Celebrity Apprentice.
Jeebus, the man is busy
Washington Post:
Trump turning away intelligence briefers since election win
Trump turning away intelligence briefers since President-elect Donald Trump has received two classified intelligence briefings since his surprise election victory earlier this month, a frequency that is notably lower — at least so far — than that of his predecessors, current and former U.S. officials said.
A team of intelligence analysts has been prepared to deliver daily briefings on global developments and security threats to Trump in the two weeks since he won. Vice President-elect Mike Pence, by contrast, has set aside time for intelligence briefings almost every day since the election, officials said.

He doesn't need briefings, Herr trump knows more about ISIS than the generals:)
DeleteApparently he's not too busy to meet with business leaders he might profit from.
DeleteApparently, little hands and little _ could care less about making this country great again, more like downhill. What a fatty.
DeleteBeen praying for a miricle. But I am confused. The God that Falwell and the like pray to is said to be my God too. I prayed to him on November 8, and it was like he said Fuck you, I am sticking with the whites, and the men. Very confused, sick and sorry. I wish I could turn back time when Trump was just a reality star and not the new Hitler. Sigh. I hope Stein makes good on the recount. We need hope. The Republic is dying. At this point I feel like America was one big fat lie perpetuated on us for the survival of the white man who always takes things. Take, take, take. And use God's name to do so too. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI'd make a VooDoo doll and stick pins in it, but I don't have any of Trump's hair.

DeleteDonald Trump Reconsiders Support for Waterboarding and credits Gen Mattis.

DeleteHOW MUCH DOES IT COST A DAY TO WATCH AN EFFING BILLIONAIRE WHO DOES PERSONAL BUSINESS AND NO ONE CAN FIRE HIM? HAVE A SEAT
ReplyDeleteNBC NEWS
"The Cost for Protecting Jet-Setting President-Elect Trump? Yuge!"
(If you want word for word, you have to read it online.)
● Thanksgiving feast in Florida, watched over by a contingent of at least 150 Secret Service personnel.
● Trump gets sworn in as president on Jan. 20, that contingent will balloon to more than 920 Secret Service agents and support personnel in Washington and his hometown of New York City.
● The price tag for all that security is "Yuge," (THEIR WORDS)
● Right now the cost to taxpayers is more than $2 million daily, the documents show, a number that is sure to increase whenever the President or First Lady travel — or when the threat level rises (BEING THAT IT'S TRUMP, THREAT LEVEL IS HIGH EVERYDAY).
● The New York Police Department security at Trump Tower estimated cost of $1 million per day.
● "You put a price tag on anything around the president, then you're putting a price tag on his life and that is priceless," (HOW DO YOU SPELL BULLSHIT?)
● When Trump heads home to the luxury 58-story high rise, the feds will need to find accommodations for staffers in a building where a modest one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment rents for $5,250-a-month
(SO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IS THAT IT COSTS OVER $3 MILLION A DAY TO WATCH HIM MAKE BUSINESS DEALS AND AN ADDITIONAL $5K PER APT/OFFICE THAT HE GETS TO POCKET?)
"They would need at least a whole floor, and every apartment on that floor would need to be turned into an office,"
($5K × ???)
● "There's buses going by, there's trucks going by," she said. "When that detonates, that building is not going to withstand that blast."
(Okay who said "OH WELL"? Not nice)
● For a taste of things to come, consider how Trump arrived at Mar-a-Lago, his 126-room, 110,000-square-foot mansion in exclusive Palm Beach for the Thanksgiving. It was in a 45-vehicle convoy that included limousines, vans — and an ambulance.
(Fafafaforrrrtttyyyfafafivvveee vehicles to drive a bloated guy? :( Why can't he take Uber?)
● The Trump trip to Florida cost to U.S. taxpayers? Seven million dollars, the official said

ReplyDeleteNot sure about the rest of you. But I noticed odd changes in all types of communication over mostly the last 2 years and back as far as 07. The 24 hr. global fox nation media control experiment. Like Our President said, famous behaving badly. Corps such as direct, dish, apple, facebook, twitter and all in between phone small internet, pc matic, customers were hacked and more etc. New privacy statements and non liability were developed and then the fun began for them. The USA Election, The European Elections, and chaos around the world. Our American ancestors fled such areas, Our Ancestors had a back bone, and will to live and those back bones are what built America. Are we going to lose it to a RIGGED ELECTION? and is it normal? really?
ReplyDeleteOmg, watching all the real Kennedys, we have a mentally challenged tired old fool about to be in office. Even Jackie B. K. studied history. USA is about to have a baffoon who will use and take money. History. Keep recording everything. What a baffoon this tired old fatty is.
