Pro-Palin blog claims that Sarah Palin won the election. And I agree.

"What did I do?"
Now typically I do not link to these ridiculous Pro-Palin or uber Right Wing websites.

However one of them had a headline with which I found myself in agreement.

The website is the American Thinker, and it's headline read "Breaking: Palin wins presidency."

Now of course she did not REALLY win the presidency, that was the pussy grabber who won.

BUT in a way it's almost the same thing.

Here is how the website explains it:

The roots of Donald Trump's historic presidential victory go back eight years to the 2008 presidential contest and the V.P. candidacy of Sarah Palin. Palin, or more properly Palinism, had many of the same characteristics as the Trump ascendancy: a robust patriotic populism driven by intense love of country and rejection of big-government internationalism embodied by Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton. Palinism also introduced Americans to the political struggle not as Left vs. Right, but as Country Class vs. Ruling Class, Bluebloods vs. Commoners, Ivy League vs. College of Hard Knocks, Urban Elite vs. Middle and Rural Working Class.

In this respect, then, Sarah Palin was the pioneer, with the arrows in her back to prove it, who enabled Donald Trump's amazing success.

Actually yeah, most of that is spot on.

I mean there is more than a little hyperbole there, and that "intense love of country" line made me spit up in my mouth, but for the most part this is not entirely inaccurate. And THIS is indeed how many of Trump's supporters see the world.

As I have pointed out many times in the past, without a Sarah Palin there would be NO Donald Trump.

It was SHE who sold that whole idiot savant idea of a public servant to the Right Wing.

"Well sure Jethro, she is dumb as a rock, but ya gotta admit she's got grit! I bet she could use that common sense she keeps talking about to do the job just as well as those East Coast elites!"

Nope, no she couldn't.

In fact she could not even run a small town without hiring a city manager to do the job for her, and when she became governor she started fucking up pretty much right away.

But Palin looked kinda pretty so she got a pass.

Donald Trump is certainly not attractive, but he looks kinda wealthy and that's close enough, so he got a pass.

So yes Donald Trump tapped right into that same vein of support among the American voters that Sarah Palin had been mercilessly prick teasing four years earlier and they were primed to shoot their wad at the ballot box for anybody who stroked them the way that Sarah Palin had been stroking them.

And tiny hands or not, Donald Trump was willing to start stroking.

Remember Steve Bannon, the guy who put together that cinematic love letter to Sarah Palin "The Undefeated," is the same guy who is now about to join Trump's administration.

So I agree with the website's final point. "Donald Trump won a historic victory on November 8, yes, but the person who above all made it possible was Sarah Palin."

Yep.

Sarah Palin wanted to be the first completely unfit, completely unprepared, and completely unhinged individual to move into the White House (Right after John McCain "accidentally" fell down a flight of stairs no doubt.)

But though her plans were undone by that damn Barack Obama fellow, her pudgy orange male counterpart has now done exactly that.

And I guess in Palin's world that constitutes a "win."

Donald Trump IS Ivy League, ruling class and urban elite. So I wouldn't say that his win constitutes a backlash against those attributes, necessarily. I think his MESSAGE was what was not Ivy League, etc.

Yes, it was his message that got those Rust Belt votes. It doesn't matter yet that he was bullshitting those voters. But it will, and soon. The GOP has control of it all? Fine, boys, now show me how the GOP is gonna make it better for the more than half the country who earn less than 30K/yr.

Sarah was a big part if this but Reagan, Quayle and Dubya did their fair share also. Other GOP members played minor roles just in the bast year ir few years. Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Scott Walker and many others are equally dumb. Sarah is uniquely foolish and inept but there's plenty of blame to go around, in my humble opinion.

Don't worry about Sarah Palin obtaining a job in the Administration of Donald Trump IF one is even offered her. She would have to go through Hearings before a specific Committee and would fail!

But, it would be a kick in the butt watching it all take place on T.V.!

You can bet that Alaskans would send information to the Committee members of the Hearing, disclosing everything they know about her and Todd.

Plus, she's not qualified for any of the positions due to being inept, she hates to work, has never held a job for very long and would quit because that is what she has always done! Check the facts and her record in Alaska - the information is all available!

She and Donald Trump are both very similar along w/both being racists!
He will make a horrible potus and will fail in that position too.

He's in no way qualified for the position which became very apparent after watching and listening to him as he was introduced to 'government' yesterday in D.C.!

He appeared to know that he was in way over his head! The visuals of him said it all!

It's amazing for me learn how politics (and religion) have separated friends and family members over the past eight to ten years!

I have turned off a few friends and could care less if I ever see or hear from them again!

Odd thing is that we 'thought' we knew each other well! Not so! We are not in sync at all!

I REALLY altered things when I declared myself an atheist after having been raised Catholic! I'm a senior citizen now and extremely comfortable with my outlook/decisions after having experienced life and read and studied!

Family members - OMG!!! Some of us are no longer talking at all! I find it interesting how we can all be raised by the same parents, grow up under the same roof, go out into the world, experience and learn about life, read, study and make major changes as to our thoughts processes regarding certain things that affect our day-to-day lives.

I do not support Donald Trump and the majority of my family members did! But, I was also pro Barack Obama and the majority of them weren't.

I find Donald Trump to be the epitome of pure evil and fear for the harm he will bring our fellow citizens, country and world. I listened to his rhetoric throughout the campaign and he is one nasty man!

It truly amazes me that white Americans and, especially self-declared Christians, actually voted for him after the life he has lived and the oral projections he has made! They obviously know nothing about him!

President Obama has never been accused of what Trump is being criminally accused of

The type of people jockeying to get positions in the Trump administration is just sad and scary. Palin, Giuliani,Gingrich, Chris Christie, Bannon and others

It is scary that Trump and his cohorts are getting the secrets of our nations capabilities when there is a closeness of Trump's administration with Russia

Politicians who were against President-elect Obama were not threatened of retaliation. Just heard Gingrich on tv who will be in Trump's administration stating that Republicans who opposed Trump basically they are dead (didn't use the word dead) to the Trump administration.

Anybody, anybody who is even thinking about the likes of Sarah Palin being in their administration is just scary and not thinkable.

Donald Trump’s Potential Cabinet Includes Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie, Sarah Palin

Pesident-elect Donald Trump’s potential Cabinet may include Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie and Sarah Palin, Politico reports.
alin, who believes climate change is a hoax, is reportedly being considered for interior secretary, while New Jersey Governor Christie, who ran against the POTUS-elect and previously criticized Trump for acting like a “13-year-old” and for being “thin-skinned," is being considered for Homeland Security secretary, attorney general or commerce secretary. Christie dropped out of the race after the Bridgegate scandal. The politically motivated closing of the George Washington Bridge nearly ended his political career after some felt Christie cruised under the radar while leaving his staffers to take the blame.

.... Former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani has also been thrown in the mix for attorney general. Along with Gingrich, Christie and Palin, Politico reports that Trump is also considering Forrest Lucas, the 74-year-old founder of Lucas Oil, for interior secretary...

Democrats did not think this country would elect Trump and stayed home. This is how he won. Not because this country decided they wanted him in the oval office. Agreed. No one believed that ass could win. He never thought he would either. People stayed home. It's not the case that so many white Dems went for Trump. Of course some did, just as GOPers voted Dem. Yes, some white Dems have felt that their party has changed to a degree. But the main thing is: so many people didn't vote. We always have a large # of non-voters, but this time a lot of people who usually vote didn't. It may not look like it since non-white groups have taken the place of a lot of prior white votes, but so, so many white Dems just didn't bother. If they had, Hillary would have won by a landslide. Even with the Comey thing and Russian hacking to help Trump, she'd have won. We have so many different candidates who run and people need to vote no matter who it is. It seems like too many people are now acting as if they have no duty to vote and it's completely up to the candidate's personality to get them to the booth. Please. We have not had superstars like Bill C and Obama around all these years. People still voted. They voted because they got informed and they cared and got off their asses and did the responsible thing.

It's been so disgusting, all the crap the Republicans pull and get away with.

And ever since W's first term, the Republican voters have become as bad as the GOP in govt. These people have become so willing to accept the worst kind of behavior (often while claiming to be so religious). They now rationalize and defend it all--no matter what Trump did, it was fine by them. They are deplorables.

I do not buy their reason, or any pundit's, that what it came down to on 11/8 was the economy and jobs. We all care about that. We all vote with that in mind. The economy rises and dips and rises and dips. People find ways to handle it. On a deeper level is all the stuff that is about who we are as human beings. All the moral stuff is what matters. That is much more important than issues that we know can be handled. But jobs/the economy is what the morally deprived are using as their excuse, and they of course need it to believe that they are not the pieces of shit that they really are.

    Worth reading entire post.

    Washington Post:
After Trump’s victory, the world is left to wonder: What happened to America?

LONDON — Allies recoiled. Adversaries rejoiced. And on the day after U.S. voters made Donald Trump the country’s 45th president, the world was left to collectively wonder: What happened to America?

The question hung in the air even as once-unthinkable congratulatory messages poured into Trump Tower from capitals across the globe.

Foreign leaders who had spent months disparaging the Republican nominee as unfit for office were forced to reckon with the reality that he will soon govern the world’s sole superpower. U.S. foes who may have only dreamed of a Trump presidency seemed to scarcely believe their good fortune.

Through it all on Wednesday was a palpable sense that Trump’s stunning victory could fundamentally transform the global order — though in this endlessly unpredictable year, no one dared forecast exactly how.

I am becoming very afraid now of what is going to happen to our country under the rule of tyrant out-of-control Trump. The GOP is itching to start wars and take Medicaid & our SS away among other things that we invested in with our hard earned taxes. Putin is toasting himself everyday because he knows he can outsmart Trump.

Here is link to Electoral College petition. Over two million people have already signed it in the first 24 hours.

This petition is dumb undemocratic and unAmerican. Come ON. We lost. We need to take an honest look at why, not waste any more time indulging ourselves like a bunch of babies.

DonTheCon told us several times that the election would be rigged. It's the only true thing that ever spewed from his ugly maw. It was rigged for him! The many discrepancies are beginning to show up and fingers can point at Putin, the rogue rats in the FBI and the backdoor machinations of the Koch bros machine. HRC won the popular vote by a huge margin. Something is rotten but it's not the honest voters who were playing by the rules and the honest would-be voters who were kept away by intimidation, voter registration hurdles and years of gerrymandering. Sorry, no babies in our crowd.

Trump won Wisconsin by 27,000 votes. 300,000 voters were turned away by the states strict Voter ID law. There is your "rigged" election.

The electoral college votes December 19 to nominate the president and Hillary only needs 20 GOP voters to flip their votes to win. Sign the petition:

Manigault made her name as the villain on the first season of Trump’s “Apprentice” reality TV series, but in the clip released online, she sounds a little more like General Zod, the villain in “Superman II...

It's funny how Trump, so aware of visuals and always wanting what is (in his opinion) beautiful surrounding him, is looking at so many fucking ugly and freaky-looking people who will be photographed with him a million times over the next four years. They have rotten teeth, skewy faces and duh faces, are so fat and unhealthy looking, etc. And Gingrich, of course looks like Chucky. Conway is such a gross creature who needs jaw surgery as a first step in her plastic surgery. Every time I see the pics of the contenders on the TV screen, I wince and then crack up. Trump's cabinet and staff are going to be so damn fugly and low-class looking and so dated and lacking in any amount of sophistication. There's always a striking difference in appearance between Dems and Repubs. Dems always look confidently put together and a part of the times. The Repubs always look repressed and robotical and dated. But Trump's people look far worse than any GOP group I've seen in a long time. They look trashy.

      Very well put.

It's not just that they are ugly...you can be not-so-pretty and even ugly and still have a sense of style. But they seem to have absolutely zero sense of aesthetics, and there is nothing visually about them to indicate that they are cued in to normal and current style. Much better to not aspire to ANY style than to show off really BAD style or a style that indicates they are really out of touch with the 2000's.

Mike Pence is taking over the Transition Team. Chris Christie is out. That means Christie won't be appointed to anything. Poor sucker sold his soul for nothing. He groveled, he swallowed his pride, he bit his tongue all for the promise Trump made that Christie would have a place in his administration.

Well, that's what you get when you trust a LIAR.

The devil has competition for the title Prince of Lies.

Pence is going to suggest all political insiders.

He will be if just him and $carah are in a room!! I would love to hear tRump's assessment of Calista Gingrich! She has so much plastic surgery, she can not blink. I wonder if Ghouliani is still married to the woman he moved into Gracie Mansion while his wife and kids were living there? She loves being photographed too.
