The Trump administration is going to have a hard time filling national security jobs, because experts in that field do not feel secure with Donald Trump as the President.

Courtesy of the Daily Beast:

President-elect Donald Trump is scrambling to line up senior officials to run the government’s sprawling intelligence and homeland security bureaucracy.

Team Trump is struggling to fill numerous key slots or even attract many candidates because hundreds have either sworn they’d never work in a Trump administration or have directly turned down requests to join, multiple current and former U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the transition efforts told The Daily Beast.

Team Trump didn’t expect to win until the campaign’s internal polling a month before the election signaled a possible victory. That’s when senior Trump officials went into overdrive, trying to build a bench of experienced national security candidates with top secret clearances willing to work for a Trump presidency—and they met resistance across the landscape of experienced GOP national security professionals.

One person who met last month with Trump’s national security and homeland security transition team leader said that she confessed that many candidates had flatly rejected attempts to recruit them, believing that Trump was unfit to hold the office of commander in chief.

This is not the only group that is terrified of a Trump presidency.

There are other groups of professionals in education, defense, energy, economics, you name it, who simply do not think that this man has what it takes to do this job.

And yet, for reasons that are still had to understand, he is indeed in that position.

Knowing there are connections between Trump's inner circle and Russia, think about how nervous National Security analysts are about giving Donny sensitive intel.

Yep, these intel folks are not happy.

President Obama is the one that will decide if he gets the nuclear information and from what was said in the press yesterday, it hasn't been provided him as yet.

He's too close to Putin and has fucking loose lips on that fat face of his.

President Obama and National Security keep the information to yourselves at this point! I'm sure the majority in America would agree with me.

I don't trust Trump as all!

Hopefully, Trump will never be sworn on in January, 2017!

    2. Pressure needs to be put on all of the electors to fix this in the electoral college. That's what the electoral college is for.

We'll still have a Republican president, but at least it won't be Trump.

I think a lot of that was just talk, b/c they didn't think he'd be elected. Now that he was, I suspect a lot of them would take a job if offered one. And really, they should, b/c the last thing we need is a narcissist POTUS surrouned by a lot of yes men.

Even worse, is what I believe may happen -- he is surrounded by the alt-right horrors who helped him get elected, and he becomes the "yes man" letting them all the rules for him to just push forward.

    Michigan went for Trump.
    Trump is Michigan's friend.
With friends like Trump, who needs enemies?
    How soon we forget.

... You could have let it go, and rebuilt itself, through the free enterprise system," said Trump during a campaign appearance in Michigan almost exactly one year ago. "You could have let it go bankrupt, frankly, and rebuilt itself, and a lot of people felt it should happen. Or you could have done it the way it went. I could have done it either way. Either way would have been acceptable. I think you would have wound up in the same place.

In an interview with The Detroit News that same month, Trump floated the idea of shifting auto production to states outside of Michigan to drive down the salaries of workers and suggested that the state would "(lose) a couple of plants" but "all of sudden you'll make good deals in your own area."

    2. As an elected official he has to fill out a full disclosure document on where he gets his money, who he owes money, etc.

If he lies in any way, including omission, that's perjury and an impeachable offense.

If he tells the truth, I believe those documents are available under the freedom of information act. So it will be made public.

OMG! This turn of events (I wouldn't work for him either! You couldn't pay me enough to be associated w/him!) in folks not wanting to be considered for his Administration could allow an idiot like Sarah Palin to perhaps become the head of the Department of Education! Cracks me up even thinking about it! She'd be so far in over her head it wouldn't be funny!

But, oh wait - Trump says he's going to demolish the Department!

Trump is the most unqualified idgit to grace the White House. Hopefully, His Dictatorship doesn't put TRUMP on the White House in gold. That is all we'd need!

But, it would be an absolute reason to begin impeaching proceedings against him as potus! I really think he'll be booted out of the office.

He has NEVER lived in a fishbowl with his every bowel movement, his every word, his family's every move subjected to 24/7/365 prying cameras and pesky reporters. And, if he stiffs the press . . . well, there's that saying about don't pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel.

I'm supposed to put the country first and want Trump to succeed. Sorry, but no can do. I love that the best people want nothing to do with him, and I hope a sense of country first doesn't cause them to change their minds. Let Trump fuck up. Over and over. If things get to the point where, say, we're on the brink of war with some country, then the best people will step in and save us from calamity. Otherwise, I want to see the Trump admin fail miserably and I want to see all the supporters have their dreams dashed. At least with W I could wish him success. He was in way over his head but it was Cheney who was evil. Trump is evil. I want him to be so over his head and stressed that he ages a hundred years in his first six months. And I want the lawsuits to go on. No reason why he shouldn't be forced to deal with these:
