Seen in Amish country.

Source.

I think it was just a little over a week ago that some schmoe shared a fake article claiming that the Amish were the secret vote that was going to put Trump over the top.

Of course we knew that was all bullshit, but it is still nice to see proof that the Amish are too smart to fall for Trump's crazy rhetoric and outlandish promises.

She will react exactly as she has in the past: She will claim all of it is made up specifically to prevent him being elected. A huge conspiracy.

  2. Thanks for the morning lift!

Certainly there are lots more Amish voters who've been married to their original spouse for decades than there are Amish who've dumped two wives for younger trophy ones.

No, many ARE on their second or third wife, due to said wives repeatedly bearing children and dying during childbirth. Not divorce, as you say.

That is true 5:35. Plus the Amish are known for their breeding puppies and kittens in puppy mills. They are not good people.

They Amish are different because they don't worship money and they don't worship rich men, unlike most of America.

Nonsense. Amish appreciate money as much as anyone. Thus the puppy mill businesses. They're frugal and live humbly, they're not generally poor. An Amish man in the Columbus Dispatch article cited below said about Trump, "He's a billionaire, so he's not a complete idiot."

Oh I forgot....Stephen Colbert is going to be on Showtime Nov 8 for the election. He is very excited to use language we are not used to him using...hahahha. It's 4am here in Las Vegas, can't sleep as my youngest daughter that is scuba diving/adventuring around the world just posted a picture of a komodo dragon on FB. Apparently there is a national park on the island and you trek a few miles inland with a guide carrying a big stick.

Tis boring and Time for change! America and world does not need another generation of hate and ignorance. Children Learn what they are taught. Teach your children well!

Don't assume or claim Amish are voting for Clinton based on one picture. An article in today's Columbus Dispatch about Amish in Holmes County Ohio reports few of them vote in presidential elections, but when they do they generally vote Republican.

I would think they would vote Republican like the Orthodox Jews because of the abortion issue.

Amish tend to shun politics. The picture looks photo-shopped to me, but maybe not. I could see them voting for Hillary.

I've known a lot of Amish and mostly the ones in Holmes County Ohio. I don't live near there anymore. However, I really cannot see one of them voting for Trump because of his immorality. I think it's likely they will not vote for a presidential candidate at all. Some may vote for Hillary but they will not agree with her pro-choice views at all. I wonder if the above picture is photo shopped also.

The Amish aren't stupid. They are too devout to vote for a two time adulterer who lies, debases women, cheats his workers and spews hate and violence towards many people.

They're not voting for Trump on moral grounds. Trump is immoral and unethical. He preaches hate.

That's why Mormons in Utah are voting for Evan McMullin. I think that state is going to be a surprise on Nov. 8.
