Well that's mature.

Courtesy of the Cincinnati Enquirer:

A load of manure was dumped outside the Democratic Party headquarters in Warren County.

"What reasonable person thinks this is OK????" party chair Bethe Goldenfield said in a post in the Greater Cincinnati Politics Facebook Group. "I won't be responding to anyone who thinks this is acceptable behavior. It is ILLEGAL!"

The same thing happened in 2012, Goldenfield noted. The suburban Cincinnati county is overwhelmingly Republican; Mitt Romney got 69 percent of the vote four years ago. It's been almost 40 years since a Democrat was elected to countywide office.

Goldenfield told The Enquirer the Warren County Sheriff's Office called her around 7:45 a.m. Saturday alerting her to the manure pile outside the Lebanon building. Deputies met party officials later to review video.

"Hopefully the perps will be held accountable for their actions," she said.

It should be noted that the Warren County Republican party says they had nothing to do with this and have offered to help clean it up.

However the fact that this also happened in 2012 is just a reminder that the "basket of deplorables" actually predates the Donald Trump campaign.

I guess if I have a Christmas wish it would be that we pull politics out of the gutter and elevate the level of discourse to at least that of a preschooler.

This has been by far the most embarrassing campaign cycle in recent memory, and perhaps the most embarrassing campaign cycle in American history.

Since this guy is a repeat offender, perhaps a few weeks in jail might be appropriate. Starting immediately. Oh, he's going to miss the election? What a pity.

Gee, I guess you should have thought of that before you dumped your Trump, Cletus.

He should be made to pick it all up all by himself. With a spoon.

Did you check out Samantha Bee? She makes a very good case for Trump being illiterate. She thinks he simply CAN'T read. Totally different from Sarah Palin's can read but can't understand a damned thing.

Far as I'm concerned - bein a country-boy from South Dakota as I am - it doesn't seem to me to be that big of a goddamn deal to dump some manure as some kind of protest towards an ideology with which one disagrees.
    Where's the harm?
    Was anything broken?
Take it as it was meant: "you're so full of shit - here - have some more"
    Come on... that's kinda funny.
Now pull on your big-boy pants and shovel that shit into wheelbarrows and put in on the flowerbeds.
Around here, if you'd put a "Free MANURE" sign on the pile it'd be gone in a day or two cause folks around here understand the value of organic fertilizer.
    Sheesh.

How about cost in time and labor to remove said Trump?

It may be a misdemeanor or free speech, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to cost someone money.

No one is going to haul that away from free. Everyone has enough "free" manure.

Let Cletus shovel it up with a spoon under police supervision while everyone else is going to vote. That'll learn 'em.

They caught the idiot, and yes, he is the same guy who did it in 2012. Such a fine example of Christian love for his kids, right? Kind of like Palin, Cruz, Pence, and the King of Crude, Trump.

Scarier is all the talk of revolution. Trump don't care, maybe he'll name his new media venture Revolution TV. You need to be reading news stories from countries other than your own to see just how scary a message this election is sending.

I think the better response would have been to "thank the creep", after calling the police of course, by putting up a sign "free manure courtesy of Trump speeches".

If it is anything like the city compost pile around here, it would be gone in a couple of hours, all the landscaping companies would grab it up. Especially this time of the year.
