Breitbart still determined to destroy Kelloggs for daring to pull their advertising.

Courtesy of Mother Jones:

Breitbart News, the inflammatory news site that hails itself as the platform for the "alt-right," is urging readers to boycott Kellogg after the food manufacturing giant announced it would no longer be advertising on the site because its content did not align with Kellogg's "values as a company."

"For Kellogg's, an American brand, to blacklist Breitbart News in order to placate left-wing totalitarians is a disgraceful act of cowardice," Breitbart announced in a statement on Wednesday. "They insult our incredibly diverse staff and spit in the face of our 45,000,000 highly engaged, highly perceptive, highly loyal readers, many of whom are Kellogg's customers." (As Mother Jones previously reported, Breitbart is known to inflate its internal traffic numbers.)

Boy I hope they inflate their numbers.

I would hate to think that there are 45 million bigots and racists in this country.

Though I guess that WOULD help to explain how Donald Trump won the electoral college.

And here is Breitbart attempting to prove that they are NOT a site populated by hate filled dimwits, by turning their dimwitted hatred toward a breakfast cereal company for exercising their right not to advertise with them.

I am sure it makes sense to them.

Anti-conservative bigotry??? That's pretty good, you right wing fuckups. Bigotry is a valued component of conservatism.

They support a guy who is a thrice married, admitted adulterer who promoted gambling, lies, and doesn't go to church. He's not a social conservative.

They support a guy who has taken and promoted millions in government subsidies, who want government interference of markets via tariffs and is anti-free trade. He is not a fiscal conservative.

Just what kind of conservative is he? (Hint: he isn't one. He's just an unprincipled, self-serving conman.)

    3. I freely admit it.

      I'm bigoted against bigots.

      I'm prejudiced against prejudice.

      I'm intolerant of intolerance.

      Sue me.

Gee, that's the way to create jobs in Michigan and elsewhere: boycott an American product!

Breifart inflates their own numbers using bot software. That's one good reason for advertisers to pull their ads. They are not getting the eyeballs they are being told they are getting ad wasting valuable advert dollars on BS from Breifart.
I went to the grocery store yesterday and saw plenty of Kellogg's cereal in carts all over the shop. me thinks this boycott is going no where fast.

I wonder if these nitwits that are boycotting, or threatening to anyways, that Kellog doesn't just make cereal. They also own the brands for Pop Tart, NutriGrain, Eggo, CheezIt, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Wrigley, Hamburger Helper, and a few others. And Kellog doesn't make every cereal Chex, Cheerios, and Quaker Oatmeal are made by General Mills. I highly doubt that these boycotters are intelligent and dilligent enough to boycott the right products and stick to it. I will try to by more Kellog products to show my support.

    1. Even if they could manage to figure it out, they'd starve. I think Kellogg's are some of the staples of the Alt-Right. Not sure they could manage without Hamburger Helper and Betty Crocker.

This boycott will go no where. First, not enough Breitbart readers to make a dent in Kellogg's bottom line. Second, I'll bet only a fraction of Breitbart's readers would even care to boycott.

      It's a toothless threat.

Sorta like when Limpball's listeners were going to boycott all of the advertisers that pulled out of his shows.

The boycott will not work against Kellog! I'm going to go out and purchase many more items of their just because I can't abide Breitbart or Trump!

Maybe a better idea is boycott Breitbart. I blame Rush Limbaugh and Ronald Reagan for the steaming pile media has become.

I won't buy any Koch brothers product for the same reasons. I won't click on any right wing website. If Brietbart want to try a Kellogg's boycott, so be it. I'll just buy more Kellogg's products. We can play this game, too.

And I'm just SURE that Kellogg's is shaking in their boots over it. Uh huh.

I am far more concerned about Breitbart invading European countries to hijack their elections too. I think that such meddling is illegal in addition to being immoral. Bannon has no place in a US administration. He should be sent packing but I'm smart enough to realize that he, and Trump, are simply doing Putin's work in societies where Putin is not particularly welcome. Oh, the 21st century is moving along to be an even more "interesting" (in the negative sense) than the 20th was.

Good thing conservatives don't. Without Hamburger Helper, how would they feed their families?

We've already seen Stupid Sarah trying to carve a turkey upside down with a butter knife. Lord knows if that tribe ever mastered Kraft Mac 'n Cheese.

Colbert scorches Breitbart over Lucky Charms boycott: ‘That leprechaun is magically offensive’

...“Really is there the maker of Frosted Flakes doesn’t agree with Breitbart? You think they’d love a bright orange cartoon who promises to make the country grrrrrreat!” Colbert said with gusto.

Kellogs is a huge company. As they make nothing natural/nutritious, I don't buy their products anyway.

I'm sure Dumbart's call for boycott will make them chuckle and be sooo sorry they pulled the advertising. LOL!

Seems these 'conservative' {read megalomaniacal} freaks are full of their 'power' now that the Cheeto Twit seems to have been elected by a YUUUGE number of brain dead morons.

Look at all those products. They are snatched up by white GOP voters constantly. No way are they going to boycott. And they all have kids they feed junk and semi-healthy quick foods to and those kids will not say okay about it no longer being in the house.

I could never give up Pop Tarts. Glad I don't have to prove myself and stop. I think I'll buy a box today in celebration.

I've boycotted Pringles since Day One because of their terrible environmentally-hostile packaging.

    3. Hillary has pulled further ahead in the popular vote. Almost by 2%.

      Trump - 46.3%

      Clinton - 48.2%

No wonder he wants to stop all of the recounts. Recounts usually benefit the Democratic candidate. So her popular vote lead would only increase with recounts in three states even if it made no difference with the electoral college.

I'm one that will purchase MORE of Kellog's products just because Breitbart is being the continual asshole he is!

Suggest other Americans do the same! Good for the company not supporting Breitbart and Trump! Their very public statement is one I truly respect. Thank you, leaders within Kellogs!

Kellogg's corn flakes have been my cereal of choice all my life. They have no added sugar, good for those who prefer to sweeten their cereal with fruit.

Kellog's couldn't ask for better advertisement. So much free press. Doesn't Breitbart realize that? Ask trump he knows all about that.

More and more, conservatives read only what is put out there by Fox and sites like Breitbart. They are willingly doing this to themselves, cutting off information from other sources. They are walking right into the brainwashing. From here, I see the next step as these people becoming informants. God, I can't stop seeing that jerk who blows the whistle on Liesl when her family is hidden by the nuns.

I think 45 million hits came in the month after Bannon came out of hiding and publicly hooked up with Drumpf. Nobody except us knew who Bannon was and nobody in the media was paying attention to Drumpf, all they did was make sure that his every wrong syllable was recorded and distributed to the American public without delay.

Deadbart does not have 45 million readers- and they never will.

The best way to create more american jobs is to threaten a boycott. I doubt this piece of TP publication has enough readers to cause a dent in any company. So lets thank Breitbart by donating more Kellogg's products to food banks and going out of your way to support them. Watch the next sunday ads, bet there'll be coupons for Kelloggs out the wazoo, so I can donate more.

How un-American, boycotting an American company, threatening the jobs of thousands of Americans and denying millions of children Tony the Tiger cereal.

Is Breibart is really a right wing dictatorship site, telling people what cereal they can or can’t eat and against capitalism and free enterprise?
