Intelligence sources now say that Vladimir Putin himself directly interfered in the US election to benefit Donald Trump.

You are all Russians now comrade.

Courtesy of NBC News:

U.S. intelligence officials now believe with "a high level of confidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used. The intelligence came from diplomatic sources and spies working for U.S. allies, the officials said.

Putin's objectives were multifaceted, a high-level intelligence source told NBC News. What began as a "vendetta" against Hillary Clinton morphed into an effort to show corruption in American politics and to "split off key American allies by creating the image that [other countries] couldn't depend on the U.S. to be a credible global leader anymore," the official said.

Ultimately, the CIA has assessed, the Russian government wanted to elect Donald Trump. The FBI and other agencies don't fully endorse that view, but few officials would dispute that the Russian operation was intended to harm Clinton's candidacy by leaking embarrassing emails about Democrats.

Apparently this latest intelligence shows that the methods by which the hackers got into the various computer systems have to be authorized by the highest levels of the Russian government.

A Russian government that Putin controls with an iron fist.

And before any of the Russian trolls start visiting the comments section here to declare that this there is no proof:

Now the U.S has solid information tying Putin to the operation, the intelligence officials say. Their use of the term "high confidence" implies that the intelligence is nearly incontrovertible.

This was also corroborated by CBS News:

Of course this is unlikely to convince any die hard Trump supporters since they have now been conditioned to distrust the mainstream media completely.

However most of our elected officials, and the majority of the voters, are NOT Trump supporters, which means it is time to fire up those special prosecutors and start a real in depth investigation.

Personally I think the evidence is clear that Donald Trump is a Russian operative, who gained power through manipulations by Vladimir Putin and his cyber terrorists, and that this entire election in illegitimate.

HRC would have still won the election if your country didn't have that nutso cuckoo 18th century Electoral College problem. Now you wait to find out if the members of the Electoral College are sheep or patriots.

    1. Anonymous7:51 AM

      Wait to find out lol?

This isn't about patriotism, this is about the bureaucratic process at this point. Do you still not understand that this is a done deal?

They will vote for the republican nominee as they are charged with, as is the process.

    2. Trump trumpeted that if Hillary won, the election ridged & her presidency would be illegitimate. Always count what he says to be what HE plans to do, or has done. Lots of precedent.

    3. Anonymous9:18 AM

      Okay, Putin. Okay.
(Trump is doing important tweets, so I am answering for him.)
      Love, Kellyanne

    4. They'll be enough sheep to put him in the White House, no matter how much proof there is for Russian interference or undermining by the FBI.

  2. Anonymous6:29 AM

Still not seeing any names of any of these 'high level officials' to stand behind these so called claims made by the liberal networks that hate Trump. And even these anonymous so called claims as written don't even seal the deal other than assuming that such activities must reach the highest levels of the Russian Government.

So yeah, you still have nothing.

Regardless, of course Russia prefers Trump. And no doubt Russia, as well as most world power nations do whatever they can to sway all US elections in their best interest, covertly or overtly. You don't think any European nations or Mexico didn't play their games in this election? Gimme a break. They all do it. We do it.

Difference is only Americans vote. And it is only the vote that matters. And Hillary could not hold the working class with more of the same. And she lost. Embarrassingly.

    1. Thank you for making my point for me.

    2. Anonymous7:47 AM

6:29, Trump lost the popular vote embarrassingly, and he is vehemently denying a rigged election now that the Russians have been exposed. Go to breitbart where you can suck Trump's tiny dick among equals.

    3. Anonymous7:52 AM

And the names of the officials Gryph? And the actual proof they have?

    4. Anonymous8:09 AM

This whole thing reminds me of wmd in Iraq.

    5. Anonymous8:32 AM

God, these idiots who refuse to take anything seriously and who demand absolute proof and people to step in front of a mic and show proof before they will even allow themselves to entertain the possibility that something happened. It's all so simple to them. Of course we all would like to see the intel. Duh. But what has been said so far by the govt, agencies has made it clear--because these institutions never just say things when they don't have evidence--means a lot. Trump lovers can't accept any of the usual intel vocabulary. It just lets them say no f-ing way if they hear the words "high level of confidence." There is a certain vocab that all these agencies use, and when they say what they have said so far, that means they know Russia hacked and they know Putin was directly involved.

      Making America great again!

  3. Anonymous6:31 AM

How dare a foreign country interfere with the United States elections! Ok, snark off now.

Listen up, it's what this country has been doing to other countries all along.

2 wrongs don't make a right. USA was/is wrong to do this to other countries. Now we bitch and run around with hair on fire because it happened to US. If irony were strawberries, we'd all be drinking a lot of smoothies about now.

It's not important the Russians influencing the election.

It's very important to note what American citizens opened the door and invited the Russians in.

The only choice we need make each day is to be good or evil. It is that simple.

    1. Anonymous8:35 AM

The majority of the population chose for Good. By nearly 3 million votes.

  6. Anonymous7:11 AM

Exactly. This election is un certifiable. America cannot move forward under false results. NEW election. NO liars. NO hackers. NO riggers. Demand.

    1. Anonymous8:11 AM

On Friday January 20th, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the new President as is the process of handing over the reigns of power.

Believe it or not, your wistful anon comment to request a coup of the election, will go unanswered.

    2. No new election.

If anything happens, it will move to the House, where they will elect a Republican president. If they're smart, it won't be Trump or Pence as both are now tainted. My guess would be Kasich.

The VP would be chosen by the Senate. If they were smart, they'd choose Tim Kaine as a "great compromise" and a way to placate the voters and try to make an attempt to heal and unite the nation.

That is the best case scenario.

What will likely happen is a few electors will bail on Trump to vote for some other Republican but he'll still have his 270. And we'll all be screwed.

  7. Anonymous7:19 AM

Trump is a Pu**y. Putin can kick his ass in the ring and at any intellectual or cold war games Why did the republicans vote for someone so week?

...Of course, the mention of editor Graydon Carter is telling as well, as to Trump’s ability to hold long and enduring grudges. Carter is, after all, the one who dubbed Trump the “short-fingered vulgarian,” and it is a moniker that is appropriate and has stuck. That’s why the GOP primaries devolved into dirty jokes regarding hand sizes. Of course, this speaks to Trump’s insecurity about his own masculinity, which is something else that Trump cannot stand to have challenged.

Trump DESPERATE For Celebrities To Perform At His Inauguration, So He’s Doing This

...Trump’s inability to attract the big names now apparently extends to his upcoming inauguration, where the Trump team is now reportedly trying to bribe big names into coming on board out of sheer desperation.

One talent manager described being offered “access to the administration” if he could lure major talent. “They said they were in the process of ‘figuring out posts, ambassadorships, and commissions’ if that was of any interest,” he said.

Another source also described receiving a “serious” ambassadorship offer, and that he was so shocked at the proposal that he almost dropped the phone. “Never in a million years have I heard something so crazy,” he said. Both declined the offers.

Trump’s team is denying the story, but the whiff of desperation echoes many of the strange things they’ve been involved in already.

    1. Anonymous7:53 AM

Trump probably sent out this photo to entice celebrities to comply:

    2. They've got the runner up to the 2010 America's got Talent singing the national anthem. If that isn't desperate, I'm not sure what is.

First they said they had Andrea Bocelli but had to walk it back when his publicist said no, they have no agreed.

Even the marching bands in all of the surrounding public high schools that have performed at inaugurations for the past 20 years failed to apply. They application deadline was extended and they still didn't.

Trump is a laughingstock. He can't buy his way into acceptance and will never be "beloved."

With that cabinet he is going to unleash on us, the best he can hope for is reviled. If he thinks his approval rating is bad now, just wait until he starts really fucking us over.

WATCH: Celebrities Unite To Send POWERFUL Message To Electoral College Asking Them To Dump Trump

In a video, Sheen and others explain that Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federalist Papers that the role of the Electoral College is to guarantee that the presidency is held by someone “To an eminent degree, endowed with the requisite qualifications” to be President of the United States. They then call on these 38 people to be heroes and do the right thing.

Donald Trump is not that someone, so it is up to the Electoral College to do what it was meant to do and vote for someone else.

These are the 10 dark conspiracy theories that consume the mind of Donald Trump

If there was ever any doubt that conspiracy theories course through the dark, troubled mind of Donald Trump, his tweets in the weeks since he won the election should dispel that notion. Hot and bothered by the inconvenient fact that he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by more than 2 million votes (and counting) and that he is president due only to the questionable decision by James Madison to deny direct voter election of our presidents and instead delegate that task to an Electoral College, the birther-in-chief-elect took to his preferred social media platform. On November 27, Trump tweeted, “In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”

Huh? That was quite a claim, given that no one had heard that alarming fact. At least no one in their right mind.

Turns out Trump’s fantastic claim came from his favorite bedside reading website, InfoWars, home of conspiracy monger Alex Jones, and the place where outlandish right-wing conspiracy theories come to thrive.

Gingrich brags that Republicans are coming for everything FDR accomplished
It’s a “great effort to break out of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt model.”

...His full speech to Heritage on Tuesday was a mix of gloating, hero worship directed at Trump, paranoia, and grievance. “Something profound is breaking in the old order… a genuine revolution is building,” Gingrich proclaimed, shortly after he credited Donald Trump for giving Americans permission to “say Merry Christmas again.”

...Yet the thrust of the speech was that Trump has opened the door to a transformative moment where nearly a century’s worth of liberal victories can be reversed. Gingrich twice brought up the possibility of rolling back Roosevelt’s model of governance, at one point telling the conservative audience that, if Trump is succeeded by another Republican, that would establish “firmly that we have replaced the FDR model and that we are now in a period of very different government.”

...Early signs suggest that Gingrich’s predictions that Roosevelt’s legacy could be undone should be taken seriously. Republicans in the House hope to cut Social Security benefits by 20–50 percent. Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan to voucherize Medicare would drive up out-of-pocket costs for seniors by about 40 percent. Then he’d cut Medicaid by between a third and a half.

At the very least, Republicans are serious about gutting the safety net that Roosevelt began to weave in the 1930s.
