Meet Donald Trump's Small Business Administrator. So dignified.

Courtesy of CNN:

President-elect Donald Trump picked Linda McMahon, former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, to serve as the administrator of the Small Business Administration, his transition announced Wednesday.

"Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country's top female executives advising businesses around the globe," Trump said in a statement. "She helped grow WWE from a modest 13-person operation to a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees in offices worldwide."

He continued, "Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country."

McMahon is the co-founder of the professional wrestling franchise WWE along with her husband, Vince McMahon, and twice a former Republican Senate candidate from Connecticut. She stepped down from her duties at WWE in 2009 and ran two failed bids for the Senate in 2010 and 2012.

Hey do you remember back when presidents would surround themselves with qualified cabinet members and an administration which brought dignity to the office?

You know it seems like just yesterday to me.

Of course this is guaranteed to thrill the slack jawed Trump supporters.

I mean let's face it the Trump voters are most definitely the same kind of folks who think pro-wrestling is real.

You know, like this guy.

They are going to be over the moon at the prospect of Linda McMahon doing for small business the same as she did for a fake sport featuring steroid abusing, heavily lubricated neanderthals.

Aren't we just the luckiest America?

And then there's the union worker who, after Trump's tweets yesterday, is getting threats and so are his kids. You don't hear a peep out of the white working class Trump supporters whenever a guy who is also white and working class says anything that is not in praise of trump. His supporters have decided not to question a single thing he does and to punish anyone, even one of their own in terms of job and class, who even corrects Trump on something.

Yes Trump will save middle America (snark)

    No Healthcare

    No abortions

    No minimum wage increase

No Unions if he had his way

American companies are shamed and taxed if they shift work out of country but it is okay that the Trump family has their shoes, jewelry, clothing, ties and other companies in out of country sweat shops.

But hey who cares, Trump has $1,000,000 per day protection for Barron and Melania in New York, free government healthcare, free transportation on Air Force One and Marine One to visit their foreign companies, realty properties and golf courses.

Meantime Trump is surrounding himself with real Amerika. Neo-Nazis, generals, billionaires, anti-minimum wage increase, anti-healthcare, and reality show clowns who has nothing in common with the people who voted for him.

    New York Times:
Trump’s Likely Labor Pick, Andrew Puzder, Is Critic of Minimum Wage Increases

President-elect Donald J. Trump is expected to name Andrew F. Puzder, chief executive of the company that operates the fast food outlets Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. and an outspoken critic of the worker protections enacted by the Obama administration, to be secretary of labor, people close to the transition said on Thursday.

Mr. Puzder has spent his career in the private sector and has opposed efforts to expand eligibility for overtime pay, arguing that large minimum wage increases hurt small businesses and lead to job loss among low-skilled workers.

He strongly supports the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which he maintains has helped create a “restaurant recession” because rising premiums have left middle- and working-class people with less money to spend dining out.

Mr. Puzder will arguably have less experience in government than any labor secretary since the early 1980s, when President Ronald Reagan appointed a longtime construction executive named Raymond Donovan to head the department...

I heard the Puzder quote below on MSNBC this morning. I'm pasting in an article link that uses the quote.

He wants to get rid of as much of the human element in restaurants as possible. He actually thinks he's the good guy when it comes to being against a higher minimum wage. He says that if employees got paid less or were replaced by machines, then his restaurants could start offering healthier food options. His only interest in the health of others and not pushing unhealthy food on people is making more money.

So, he, like many others, didn't start a business out of an interest in doing anything for others and out of an interest in making a contribution to his community. He, like many others, didn't just go into business to make money and in a way that didn't do any harm to the community--there was no neutrality there. He, like many others, went into business with the aim of doing something destructive to the community so as to make money. And now he's trying to say that he could be more ethical if only people would stop complaining about poverty level wages.

      One of his quotes:

"They're always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there's never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case," says Puzder of swapping employees for machines.

"Meet your next Labor Secretary Andrew Puzder. He is the CEO of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. He thinks to Make America Great Again, we need to pay workers less or ideally, give their jobs to robots. I’m not kidding. In an interview with Business Insider, Puzder explained that he thought getting the workers out of the restaurant biz would be a great thing because robots are: “…always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall, or an age, sex, or race discrimination case.”

Oh human beings and their unreasonable desire to earn enough to live AND not be discriminated against. It’s all so inconvenient for corporate CEO’s like Puzder. We should just relegate these service jobs to the dustbin of history the way we already did with so called “old economy” jobs. You know, the kind that actually allowed you to eat, buy a house, and pay the bills all at the same time."

"The fault really lies with all of those high on the hog living workers with their $18K per year incomes and the advocates who would outrageously push to make those wages higher. You will not be surprised to learn then that one of Puzder’s favorite pastimes is penning Wall Street Journal op-eds on why lifting the minimum wage would just be dreadful. Typical line: “Does it really help if Sally makes $3 more an hour if Suzie has no job?” Exactly. So why not get rid of the minimum wage altogether and pay Sally the 50 cents per hour that you apparently think she’s worth?"

      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/andy-puzder-women_us_5849b59ce4b04002fa80660c?j0wg4dseuf4dkj4i

"Part of Puzder’s job as labor secretary would include protecting women’s rights in the workplace. He would oversee the Labor Department’s Women’s Bureau, which advocates for equal pay and offers resources for women discriminated against at work.

In Puzder’s world, the Women’s Bureau is the name of a “breastaurant” that serves high-end burgers.

His Carl’s Jr. has been running TV commercials showing super-attractive women eating burgers for more than a decade, beginning with a soft-porn spot featuring Paris Hilton nearly naked, washing a Bentley in heels and eating a burger. More recently, a young Kate Upton has taken on the mantle.

In these spots, women don’t just eat the food. They basically have sex with the food."

Trump wants to hire this woman whose money has been made in an industry that is filled with the deaths of young and relatively young men (and some women). She and her husband head a business that is fueled by steroids and drugs. She has made millions off the compromised health and premature deaths of her employees.

Assuming parents of autistic children take their children to doctors.

After Trump becomes president does that mean only billionaire children will receive autistic healthcare while all the other children without health insurance will be like Trig? Give them a book and sit them in a corner or in front of a tv in their soiled diapers.

The people supporting Donald Trump are people that believe roller derby and pro wrestling are real sports.

They watch NASCAR and also believe it's honorable to beat the shit out of fans of the opposing team after a football, basketball, soccer game. Win or lose the game - doesn't matter - as long as "we won the fight afterwards."

These are the people that don't read.

These are the people that think Sarah Palin is smart!

These are the people who believe it is more important to memorize parts of their Bible than it is to learn mathematics and/or science. Or HISTORY.

It's funny how so often rich Republicans think they can spend not a second of their lives serving their communities and then run for high office. She ran for Senate and in CT and to try taking Chris Dodd's seat. She couldn't be bothered running for a more local office or even for House Rep. She has absolutely no background in public service.

She has made a fortune off the poor health of young people who have ended up dead from various illnesses, including an enlarged heart, because of steroids. She is like the tobacco industry claiming that cigarettes don't do harm. She knows exactly what steroids do, as well as the painkillers that the wrestlers use. She knows her business is about drug abuse of all kinds.

When she ran for Senate the WWE took a ton of videos off the Web because of their highly sexual and sexist and racist content. She knew that had to be done so that people didn't see her for who she really was.

Her husband has used the n-word (a version with five letters ending in a) and in the video of that (easily found online) you can see and hear that he knows damn well he shouldn't use the word. And after he uses it he walks right past a black man and woman who have heard him use the n-word and he ignores them, disses them. They act appalled at what has happened. This is a WWE skit. It's disgusting how the McMahons have gone from creating skits with adversaries who go on to wrestle one another to using playing with race as a component of their business.

I don't care that all the WWE wrestlers/characters are adults who can make their own decisions. That has nothing to do with the mindset of the McMahons and their reprehensible behavior. It does not forgive their longtime and continued abuse of the health and very existence of others.

Below is a reminder of the steroid trial Vince McMahon was involved in. The McMahons haven't just made millions off of young lives but they have built a billion dollar empire. And I'm also pasting in a link to a pic/article of Vince McMahon at 69 on the cover of Muscle mag--no way is he not on roids!

The McMahons have a history of years and years associated with steroids (and undoubtedly RX meds for pain) and either using them, knowing and turning a blind eye to their employees' use of them, or obtaining the steroids for their employees.

I am disgusted that people today are just cracking little jokes about Linda McMahon being a Trump pick. People should stop and think about just what kind of person we're talking about here. The McMahons are people who play with others' lives and who have skirted the law when it comes to certain drugs.

Sorry. Above, I meant that the people on TV (not here at IM) are just cracking little jokes. They're acting like it's a fun thing that McMahon has been chosen. When they do act serious it's to say that, all laughing aside, she is a successful businesswoman. They don't say a peep about what really has been involved in her becoming rich. They just smile about the WWE, and that's it.

McFUCKingSHAME> ""Next year, with a new president and a new Congress, let’s go to work immediately on ending sequestration once and for all and returning to a strategy-driven defense budget," Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain said recently, urging the new Trump administration to send a request to Congress for supplemental defense funding beyond what’s in the defense policy bill.

"The president-elect has said we're not spending enough and we aren't doing enough," McCain said on the Senate floor Thursday. "And by the way, we've go to do it right. We need to spend more."

It is the largest portion of our GNP.

    Cabinet related:

Peter Thiel--very conservative gay billionaire from Silicon Valley who contributed millions to Trump’s campaign and now is one of the people in charge of the transition--in 2009 said that giving women the right to vote damaged the country—freedom was now dead. He thinks the only way we can ever have democracy again is to build communities on the ocean and in space (he also believes people don’t need to age and die). He’s a nut job. His buddy and business associate, named O’Neill, is a believer in what Thiel believes and he is the guy Trump wants in charge of the FDA. The guy is against anything to do with the “Protection” part of “FDA.”

This segment from yesterday’s TRMS is a must-see:

    http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show

Also, Trump is going to have people from Silicone Valley meeting at Trump Tower next week (I think the day before Trump makes his big announcement with family re how they will be handling the conflict of interest thing). Some have said they won’t attend or have said no comment. Others have verified that they’ll be there. This is surely connected to the Japanese tech industry’s billions-to-be-invested announcement made earlier this week, plus Trump has been trying to make inroads in CA where he is generally despised.
