Former CIA agent points out the obvious.

A foreign government does NOT help a candidate get elected unless they already know that it will benefit them in some way.

And with Trump's open admiration and support of Putin even at the expense of his own county, I think it is fairly clear that Donald Trump is for all intents and purposes an agent of the Russian government.

Anybody disagree with that?

His tax returns need to be exposed. Vlad has him by the balls, he owes mucho dinero to Russian banks. Worst part is that the gop knows all of this, yet wants him in charge anyway!! We have been royally screwed.

Exactly. There's an old saying that goes like this: If you owe the bank 10 million dollars you got a big problem. If you owe the bank a billion dollars, the bank has a big problem.

The Russians could ruin Drumpf by calling his loans, showing what a complete and total fraud he is, while bankrupting him at the same time. He doesn't have the money to repay the loans, he never does (the Drumpf "Taj Majal" was boarded up while he was campaigning and nobody said a fucking word) so the Russians are allowing him to repay by controlling him. Unfortunately they will ALL be robbing the U.S. Treasury for every cent they can get if they aren't stopped

Americans screwed THEMSELVES by casting their votes for Trump and the majority Republicans in Congress!

There is no one to blame for what is ahead of us except THEM! Friggin' idiots!

They are going to pay for what is ahead of us - along w/the rest of us that didn't support Trump or ANY Republican in Congress, our State Legislatures or community governments!

I detest Trump and the Republican party. We are in for massive trouble w/them - their supposed tearing down of Obamacare (taking away coverage for millions!), being racist and inciting civil war within the country (is what I project!) along with Trump not fearing to create WWIII and bombing the Hell out of them (to get the oil!) - his own words and on video!

Hang on America - it's going to be a frightening ride with these jerks as our leaders! And, pay closer attention to how you cast your vote next election cycle!

    Trump to media -

“If you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old fashioned way because I’ll tell you what, no computer is safe.”

“I have a boy who’s ten years old, he can do anything with a computer. You want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier.”

What an idiot. He doesn't realize that computers are everywhere. Hacking can affect everything from communications to air travel to the power grid (and more).

It's not about going backward - can you imagine warning another country about a credible threat by pen and paper and sending off a courier to deliver it.

Trump knows nothing about computers ergo he believes the best way to communicate is pen and paper and courier. What else doesn't he know about (ummm .... let's say just about everything) and he's going to apply his limited knowledge (plus a refusal to learn anything new) to his new job. Scary.

In remarks to reporters upon entering a New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump warned against being quick to pin the blame on Russia for the hacking of US emails.

“I just want them to be sure, because it’s a pretty serious charge,” he said.

“And if you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong.”

The Washington Post also reported on Friday that Moscow could be behind intrusion into a laptop owned by a Vermont electricity utility.

US intelligence officials have said that they are confident Russia was behind the US election hacks, which could have played a role in Trump’s defeat over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“I think it’s unfair if we don’t know. It could be somebody else. I also know things that other people don’t know so we cannot be sure,” Trump said on Saturday.

Asked what that information included, the president-elect said, “You will find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.” He did not elaborate.

Trump's "information": "I asked my friend Vlad--who by the way is a really smart guy--to look into this. He did, and no one in Russia had anything to do with the hacking. Their intelligence people--and they have the best in the world; much better than our own--traced it to some kid--and these kids are really good with computers--in New Jersey. End of story. Can we now just get on with our lives?"

Well, no, WaPo reported that Russia had hacked our electrical grid and then walked it back to the "could have" and that it was a laptop that wasn't attached to the grid. It's this sort of over the top, breathless reporting of things that turn out not to be true that makes the hacking claims suspicious. Declassify something, anything that proves the claims. "Because we say so" is not good enough. And I didn't vote for the orange gibbon.

TRUMP CLAIMS HE KNOWS THINGS ABOUT ALLEGED RUSSIAN HACKING THAT PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT

WHAT A FUCKING GENIUS SINCE HE HASN'T BEEN TO SECURITY BRIEFINGS

    The Daily Beast

Trump Promises to Release New Details on Russian Hacking

President-elect Donald Trump says he knows “things that other people don’t know” about Russia’s alleged hacking during the presidential election. Speaking to reporters outside his Mar-A-Lago estate while on his way to a New Year’s Eve party on Saturday night, Trump promised to disclose the information in a few days, saying “you will find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.” He noted that he still believes the hacking was carried out by “somebody else,” and not Russia. While the CIA concluded that a Russian hacking group was to blame for the election breaches, Trump once against cast doubt on that conclusion, saying computer hacking “is a very hard thing to prove.” “I just want them to be sure because it’s a pretty serious charge,” he said. Trump has gone against the tide on the issue of Russia’s alleged hacking, repeatedly dismissing the accusations against Russia and saying it’s time to simply move on from the scandal....

What did Trump learn when he last talked to the Taiwan president?

    NOTHING!

Will we be going to war with China over Trump and Taiwan?

    Who knows?

    --------

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday left open the possibility of meeting with Taiwan's president if she visits the United States after he is sworn in on Jan. 20 and also expressed continued skepticism over whether Russia was responsible for computer hacks of Democratic Party officials.

Why would Trump meet with Taiwan president in the United States of America after he is sworn in after creating a controversy with China just by earlier talking to the Taiwan president by phone?

COULD IT BE RELATED TO THIS?

    Washington Post
    Dec 3, 2016
Trump apparently considered hotel investments in Taiwan earlier this year. The mayor of Taoyuan said last month that a representative from the Trump Organization had visited and was interested in constructing hotels in the northwestern Taiwanese city, according to China Times. Trump has said he will separate himself from his businesses before he is inaugurated.

"Former CIA agent" blah, blah, blah.

This friends is what is known as "appeal to authority": saying that because an authority says something, it must therefore be true and "bandwagon" or "appeal to popularity": claiming that because many people believe something, that validates it. They're logical fallacies for the reason that the opinion of an authority or institution can be wrong. The authority that such a person or institution holds does not have any intrinsic bearing upon whether their claims are true or not. And just because many people believe something doesn't add to its credibility. Many people believe climate change isn't real. And that friends is what Gryphen here and many others are doing every time they write about another CIA this, or FBI that or 17 institutions opining about hacking and claiming that because yet another authority says it, it's true. These are the same authorities that in the past have lied to us. The same authorities that in the past have interferred in the elections of other countries in our name. So don't insult and call names for those of us who can see through the logical trickery being used and have healthy skepticism about this hacking stuff even though we can't stand Trump and who demand some real evidence instead of swallowing the opinions of organizations that are known to be untruthful.

What is real evidence for you? You can always take the position that it's opinion instead of evidence. If you don't want to believe something you'll simply say you don't trust the source. And you'll refer to the pre-Iraq war CIA over and over again. There will be not convincing you, until you wake up one day answering to Vlad instead of Donnie.

Uh, the preponderance of evidence is on you, the accuser 1:36, not the accused. It is ok, you are not very smart.

Also, if you think that the Us is going to wake up and answer to Vlad, you obviously have no understanding of the US Govt. machine that plasters on a new face every 4 to 8 years.
