A foreign government does NOT help a candidate get elected unless they already know that it will benefit them in some way.As a CIA officer, if I had a colleague talking like Trump is about Putin, I would think he was turned.— Nada Bakos (@nadabakos) December 30, 2016
And with Trump's open admiration and support of Putin even at the expense of his own county, I think it is fairly clear that Donald Trump is for all intents and purposes an agent of the Russian government.
Anybody disagree with that?
His tax returns need to be exposed. Vlad has him by the balls, he owes mucho dinero to Russian banks. Worst part is that the gop knows all of this, yet wants him in charge anyway!! We have been royally screwed.
ReplyDeleteExactly. There's an old saying that goes like this: If you owe the bank 10 million dollars you got a big problem. If you owe the bank a billion dollars, the bank has a big problem.
DeleteThe Russians could ruin Drumpf by calling his loans, showing what a complete and total fraud he is, while bankrupting him at the same time. He doesn't have the money to repay the loans, he never does (the Drumpf "Taj Majal" was boarded up while he was campaigning and nobody said a fucking word) so the Russians are allowing him to repay by controlling him. Unfortunately they will ALL be robbing the U.S. Treasury for every cent they can get if they aren't stopped
Americans screwed THEMSELVES by casting their votes for Trump and the majority Republicans in Congress!
DeleteThere is no one to blame for what is ahead of us except THEM! Friggin' idiots!
They are going to pay for what is ahead of us - along w/the rest of us that didn't support Trump or ANY Republican in Congress, our State Legislatures or community governments!
I detest Trump and the Republican party. We are in for massive trouble w/them - their supposed tearing down of Obamacare (taking away coverage for millions!), being racist and inciting civil war within the country (is what I project!) along with Trump not fearing to create WWIII and bombing the Hell out of them (to get the oil!) - his own words and on video!
Hang on America - it's going to be a frightening ride with these jerks as our leaders! And, pay closer attention to how you cast your vote next election cycle!
What "next election cycle"?
DeleteTrump to media -
ReplyDelete“If you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old fashioned way because I’ll tell you what, no computer is safe.”
“I have a boy who’s ten years old, he can do anything with a computer. You want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier.”
What an idiot. He doesn't realize that computers are everywhere. Hacking can affect everything from communications to air travel to the power grid (and more).
It's not about going backward - can you imagine warning another country about a credible threat by pen and paper and sending off a courier to deliver it.
Trump knows nothing about computers ergo he believes the best way to communicate is pen and paper and courier. What else doesn't he know about (ummm .... let's say just about everything) and he's going to apply his limited knowledge (plus a refusal to learn anything new) to his new job. Scary.
Don't forget cell phones are essentially a 'computer' in miniature form.
DeleteThat means, dare I hope, no more tweets from the Drumpfster, in light of this???
After all, it is unsafe per the not-so-deep-thinker...
PMom_GA
Yup. Pen paper and a courier for all top secret information. Because nothing and I mean NOTHING is more secure than an envelope in the hands of some dude on a bike!
DeleteOh good. He can now deliver his 140 characters by US mail to the news outlets. THAT will be great-we'll never have to read one of the again!!
DeleteTime to get into the carrier pigeon business!
DeleteIn remarks to reporters upon entering a New Year’s Eve celebration at his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump warned against being quick to pin the blame on Russia for the hacking of US emails.
ReplyDelete“I just want them to be sure, because it’s a pretty serious charge,” he said.
“And if you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong.”
The Washington Post also reported on Friday that Moscow could be behind intrusion into a laptop owned by a Vermont electricity utility.
US intelligence officials have said that they are confident Russia was behind the US election hacks, which could have played a role in Trump’s defeat over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“I think it’s unfair if we don’t know. It could be somebody else. I also know things that other people don’t know so we cannot be sure,” Trump said on Saturday.
Asked what that information included, the president-elect said, “You will find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.” He did not elaborate.

Whatever he thinks he knows, certainly he did not learn it from intelligence briefings, did he? The "guests" at this bash had to pay to get tickets. tRump even makes money off so-called friends!! First lady to be, Ivanka, was there, fresh from vacation in Hawaii.
DeleteTrump's "information": "I asked my friend Vlad--who by the way is a really smart guy--to look into this. He did, and no one in Russia had anything to do with the hacking. Their intelligence people--and they have the best in the world; much better than our own--traced it to some kid--and these kids are really good with computers--in New Jersey. End of story. Can we now just get on with our lives?"
DeleteMaybe he'd fucking KNOW if he attended his daily security briefings.
DeleteI'll bet Mike Pence doesn't have any doubts.
He truly is Putin's BFF --

ReplyDelete"No computer is safe from hacking"? Use a courier? Homing pigeons? Ravens?
Good thing our little burgh has a sizable aviary. Now I can shutter my computers and remain calm because we are all so very safe.
Bullshit. I will fight meaner and harder.
dark wings, dark words. everything that comes from trump, whether it's on twitter, a pretend press conference with don king, a passing comment to a reporter, or a presidential debate are dark words from a ark vision of the world and its future. its partly dark because he's an ignoramus with little light of knowledge in his head. but also dark because of how much he likes to play on people's fears with his apocalyptic vision of where we are now as a nation. i don't think he's a game of thrones watcher - ok, maybe the naughty scenes - but he's DEFINITELY not a game of thrones reader, lol. so does this mean if we shoot pigeons incoming and outgoing from just hanging out at trump tower, we might intercept a love letter to or from vlad the annoyer?
DeleteMaybe a binder of young Russian women, looking for "love"? Maleria is past her expiration date.
Deletenope, no disagreement, not in the slightest. he's a traitor and i can't wait till he and pence are impeached for it.
ReplyDeleteConsidering all these irregularities, how can the results of this election be valid and accepted? Don't these shenanigans set a very disturbing precedent?
ReplyDeleteThat's what I want to know! How can they be accepted? Nice to see you here, Regina!
DeleteDefinition of Treason:
Deletethe crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.
"they were convicted of treason"
synonyms: treachery, disloyalty, betrayal, faithlessness;
More antonyms: allegiance, loyalty
Well? Get cracking, Congress, impeach Trump. Cause you guys are next on his little list whether you bow down to him or not. He is a dictator.
He is not in office yet. Charges of TREASON would be more appropriate, before he ruins the entire USA.
DeleteWe ALL need to contact our Congress men and women and ask them to bring charges against Trump and why! He should NEVER be allowed to take the oath of office for potus!
DeleteThe man IS doing treason actions that can be proven - his words and actions are all on twitter, video and TV!
I detest the man and avidly feel he should be dropped like a hot pepper from the role of the presidency. He will NEVER represent me!
He intends to do the same as he did with his tax retrns. Stall intil it is too late. He will be a part time president working at making $$$ the rest of the time. He will NEVER give up control of his businesses Doesn't he trust Uday, Qusay and "Secretariat teeth" Ivanka? He must know they are as dumb as he is.
DeleteOh Regina.... yet another FORMER CIA agent that is now a TALKING HEAD and BOOK PEDDLER trying to make a name for himself by jumping on the latest bandwagon, does not invalidate and will not unhinge our election tradition. I thought you had more sense than this.
DeleteOur founding fathers made provisions for this.
DeleteIt's called The Electoral College.
The Electors FAILED!
Now we all pay.
There is no other stop gap or correction to this problem. It's on the Electors for failing to do their jobs as set forth in the Constitution.
It's not like the Electoral College has never put someone in the White House that didn't get the popular or the electoral votes. They've overturned voters before.
Trump under the thumb of Putin? Hell yeah.
ReplyDeleteRussia is holding something bigly over Trump.
ReplyDeleteI d say a fox in charge of the henhouse but more like Putin's bumbling puppet. Ugh.
ReplyDelete"The Washington Post also reported on Friday that Moscow could be behind intrusion into a laptop owned by a Vermont electricity utility. "
ReplyDeleteWell, no, WaPo reported that Russia had hacked our electrical grid and then walked it back to the "could have" and that it was a laptop that wasn't attached to the grid. It's this sort of over the top, breathless reporting of things that turn out not to be true that makes the hacking claims suspicious. Declassify something, anything that proves the claims. "Because we say so" is not good enough. And I didn't vote for the orange gibbon.
And please stop saying Podesta was hacked press and other. Podesta fell for a phishing scam and gave away his email password. Nobody hacked his email.
No he did not, his IT team wrote legitimate on the email instead of illegitimate... auto correct strikes again.
DeleteIf you want to blame it on his IT staff, fine, but he did what he did: he changed his email password through a phishing email and gave away access to his account. He was not hacked.

Trump Promises to Release New Details on Russian Hacking
President-elect Donald Trump says he knows “things that other people don’t know” about Russia’s alleged hacking during the presidential election. Speaking to reporters outside his Mar-A-Lago estate while on his way to a New Year’s Eve party on Saturday night, Trump promised to disclose the information in a few days, saying “you will find out on Tuesday or Wednesday.” He noted that he still believes the hacking was carried out by “somebody else,” and not Russia. While the CIA concluded that a Russian hacking group was to blame for the election breaches, Trump once against cast doubt on that conclusion, saying computer hacking “is a very hard thing to prove.” “I just want them to be sure because it’s a pretty serious charge,” he said. Trump has gone against the tide on the issue of Russia’s alleged hacking, repeatedly dismissing the accusations against Russia and saying it’s time to simply move on from the scandal....

DeleteYeah, Putie whispered them to him during an all night orgy... that's the way he prefers to get intelligence briefings. Intelligence is just SOOO far beyond his comprehension.
"I know stuff" is what the blackmailing weasel informant says right before he gets offed.

What did Trump learn when he last talked to the Taiwan president?
NOTHING!
Will we be going to war with China over Trump and Taiwan?
Who knows?
--------
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Saturday left open the possibility of meeting with Taiwan's president if she visits the United States after he is sworn in on Jan. 20 and also expressed continued skepticism over whether Russia was responsible for computer hacks of Democratic Party officials.

ReplyDeleteThat was an EYE-opening article.
DeleteWe're NOT overreacting!
Why would Trump meet with Taiwan president in the United States of America after he is sworn in after creating a controversy with China just by earlier talking to the Taiwan president by phone?
ReplyDeleteCOULD IT BE RELATED TO THIS?
Washington Post
Dec 3, 2016
Trump apparently considered hotel investments in Taiwan earlier this year. The mayor of Taoyuan said last month that a representative from the Trump Organization had visited and was interested in constructing hotels in the northwestern Taiwanese city, according to China Times. Trump has said he will separate himself from his businesses before he is inaugurated.
Yes. Follow the money.
DeleteTrump is a fucking asshole and will never warrant my support of him as potus. He is a joke! He has to be stopped from taking the oath of office as potus in January!
ReplyDeleteThey hanged Benedict Arnold. Just sayin...
ReplyDeleteOh *they* did not, you dope.
DeleteBenedict Arnold died in London in 1801 of a variety of maladies.
"Former CIA agent" blah, blah, blah.
ReplyDeleteThis friends is what is known as "appeal to authority": saying that because an authority says something, it must therefore be true and "bandwagon" or "appeal to popularity": claiming that because many people believe something, that validates it. They're logical fallacies for the reason that the opinion of an authority or institution can be wrong. The authority that such a person or institution holds does not have any intrinsic bearing upon whether their claims are true or not. And just because many people believe something doesn't add to its credibility. Many people believe climate change isn't real. And that friends is what Gryphen here and many others are doing every time they write about another CIA this, or FBI that or 17 institutions opining about hacking and claiming that because yet another authority says it, it's true. These are the same authorities that in the past have lied to us. The same authorities that in the past have interferred in the elections of other countries in our name. So don't insult and call names for those of us who can see through the logical trickery being used and have healthy skepticism about this hacking stuff even though we can't stand Trump and who demand some real evidence instead of swallowing the opinions of organizations that are known to be untruthful.
What is real evidence for you? You can always take the position that it's opinion instead of evidence. If you don't want to believe something you'll simply say you don't trust the source. And you'll refer to the pre-Iraq war CIA over and over again. There will be not convincing you, until you wake up one day answering to Vlad instead of Donnie.
Delete"What is real evidence for you?"
DeleteUh, the preponderance of evidence is on you, the accuser 1:36, not the accused. It is ok, you are not very smart.
Also, if you think that the Us is going to wake up and answer to Vlad, you obviously have no understanding of the US Govt. machine that plasters on a new face every 4 to 8 years.
