Immediately after Donald Trump assumed office the White House website scrubbed all mention of Climate change. And so it begins.

Courtesy of Motherboard:

At 11:59 am eastern, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming.

It’s customary for www.whitehouse.gov to flip over to the new administration exactly at noon, but the only mention of climate on President Trump’s new website is under his “America First Energy Plan” page, in which he vows to destroy President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, which is a government-wide plan to reduce carbon emissions and address climate change. To reiterate: It is normal that the site is completely new; it is notable that climate change is not mentioned on any one of Trump's new pages.

“President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule,” the site says. A search of the website found no mention of "global warming," and the only mentions of "climate change" were archived pages that, after clicking on the links, led to scrubbed pages.

This is only the beginning.

The website also scrubbed any mention of LGBTQ protections, Women's rights, civil rights, and health care.

The Republicans, with Trump's help, are determined to reverse every bit of progress President Obama achieved, and to scrub him from the pages of history.

It will be up to us to protect his legacy, fight against any attempts to take us back to pre-Obama times, and remind people of all that he accomplished during his time in office.

Remember what a great American President once said, "WE are the change we have been waiting for."

And if we want to defend that change, then our fight is far from over.

If Trump is the answer, remind me again what the problem was.

Obama already freed us from dependence on foreign oil a few years ago. Lets hope that hasn't been scrubbed from the internet.

People are starting to praise Melania and compare her to Jackie Kennedy. No comparison there I believe. But most of her early nude pics have been scrubbed from the internet. The ones there are coming from Great Britain. I tried to put one up as evidence that she is no Jackie, but facebook denied that yesterday. I had a friend who put up the esquire photo of pregnant Melania, nude, by their plane with Donald nearby a few months ago. Now it's gone from the internet. Why? People are afraid of revenge. Trumps standard personality character.

I have seen the photos you mentioned. More recently there are numerous photos of Melania Trump in dresses revealing side boobs in provocative outfits more tasteful than Kardashians. Style wise she is not Jackie Kennedy nor should she be pressed to pretend she is IMO. However barely covering her nipples is unacceptable as a role model regardless of the excellent breast implants she wears well and her spouse supports the display of her naked self.

Honestly, the double standards of most men to prid themselves in a hot woman to be envied when they fall short n grooming, sport fat guts, are unfit pisses me off.

    2. Facebook?

It isn't that difficult to buy a domain and put up a website. Currently no one can control that content.

You download the photos and then put them in an image folder on your website to link to your webpage.

It's not rocket science. You can do it for in the neighborhood of $100 a year. I own my own website and domain name.

If the service in any way censors your content, you can sue them in court under the first amendment and free speech. That may make the news, which is a win.

The GOP and their fake scientists are busy telling us that a warmer planet will be a good thing because crops will grow longer. Growing coconuts and bananas is always what people in Alaska have wanted, isn't it? Of course Alaska will have lost much of its coastal land, Florida will all but disappear, the cities of the east coast will all have boat slips and not driveways but didn't everyone want to live by the water? The Palin family better swap out their snowmobiles for water skies and give up eating moose burgers. It is just so mind boggling that an entire government switches in a minute from being serious and caring and intelligent to being chaotic and hateful and ignorant.

    1. They'll eventually pay for it.

Some, not all, but enough of their "supporters" will turn on them. The Republicans own everything and are running things so when they screw over their own people, they can't blame the Democrats.

    Enough About Andrew Jackson

Trump's apocalyptic inaugural address was pure Steve Bannon, and a White House official now confirms that it was written by Bannon and Stephen Miller. In another of those weird recent attempts to draw historic parallels between Trump and Andrew Jackson, Bannon is quoted as saying, “I don’t think we’ve had a speech like that since Andrew Jackson came to the White House. It’s got a deep, deep root of patriotism.”

But if you read Jackson's first inaugural address, it is full of the modesty, humility, self-deprecation and traditional appeals to our better nature that are historically associated with presidential inaugural addresses. There is nothing in it on par with Trump's "American carnage."......

The Interior Department Stops Tweeting After Two Anti-Trump Tweets

Tweeting about crowd size can be pretty controversial.

The Washington Post reported Friday night that the Department of the Interior was ordered to stop tweeting Friday after it's National Parks Service account retweeted an unflattering photograph comparing Trump's crowd size to Obama's in 2009.
According to the Washington Post, the Parks service then received an e-mail to stop tweeting.

Screen shot from the Washington Post's report before the tweet was taken down. “All bureaus and the department have been directed by incoming administration to shut down Twitter platforms immediately until further notice,” the e-mail said, according to the Post, which attained it.

But that wasn't all the the Department of Interior also tweeted about how some key areas of the Obama's White House website had disappeared following Trump's inauguration including one section on climate change before the directive arrived.

The Post noted that it was no clear who exactly asked the Department of Interior to stop tweeting. One official who spoke with the Post on the condition of anonymity said that the order was given as a precautionary measure until it could be determined whether the agency had been "errant" or they had been "hacked."

Too back his supporters are too stupid to understand the facts:
    --------------------
FACT CHECK -- NYT A21, “Trump’s Grim View of the Economy Ignores Most Americans’ Reality,” by Binyamin Appelbaum: “The dismal picture of the American economy President Donald J. Trump painted in his Inaugural Address on Friday is at odds with the economic reality of most Americans. Mr. Trump described a nation depleted, despairing and in decline. ... In fact, the United States is in the midst of one of the longest sustained economic expansions in the nation’s history. The stock market has climbed to record heights; middle-class incomes are increasing after years of stagnation; and corporations are recording enormous profits. Some measures of consumer confidence show that optimism about the economic outlook, and job and income prospects have climbed to the highest levels in more than a decade.” http://nyti.ms/2kbQYP4

Where's Anonymous when you need them?

Let's hope that there are undercover patriots within the now American Whore House and within departments in the government that keep getting the info out. And that those within the WH make life extremely difficult for the new diktator - people who have been on the job for many years and know how to make things NOT happen as usual.

  16. Well, we do have alternate means of gathering and dispersing information.

    Until Trump eliminates Net Neutrality.

He can send up back to sending group e-mails and texts, phone trees and even hard copy letters and postcards. We could be photocopying flyers and handing out pamphlets.

Fascists repress free speech, not just the press. They must control the message and make sure it is *their* message.

The only question now is...how far the police, national guard and military will follow him. At what point will they say "no, this isn't constitutional, this isn't America" and rebel?
