5:39 PM: After a delay of about an hour we appear to be moments away from what is expected to be a White House statement on the crowd size issue.
5:40 PM: Spicer complaining about MLK bust and giving various excuses why the inaugural crowd was much bigger than anyone said.
5:41 PM: Spicer claims crowd was the largest crowd ever to witness a presidential inauguration.
5:43 PM: Spicer is basically in primal scream mode now.
5:46 PM: Verbatim quote: "This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration. Period. Both in person and around the globe."
This lunatic literally used his very first interaction with reporters as the official press secretary to scream lies at them.
This was NOT the first time those floor coverings had been used, they were also used during Obama's 2013 inauguration.
There were NO magnetometers used.
And there were more metro rides during Obama's inauguration in 2013, than on the day of Trump's. (Also don't forget that a number of those rides on the 20th were actually protesters.) (Source.)
So THIS is how the Trump administration begins.
By the way Kellyanne Conway had this exchange with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press today:
Damn, this is going to be a long four years!"Alternative facts are not facts. They are falsehoods," Chuck Todd tells Pres. Trump's counselor Kellyanne Conway this morning. WATCH: pic.twitter.com/Ao005dQ13r— Meet the Press (@MeetThePress) January 22, 2017
Example of Alternative Facts:
ReplyDeleteTrump did not grab pussy
NOW the press grows a spine?
ReplyDeleteIf they had a spine in 2003 we would not have the Iraq war. Or a GWB 2nd term or Trump
DeleteIsn't that the truth, however better late than never.
DeleteDrumpf just said he's going to keep the contents of the letter from President Obama from the press, as if he's going to punish them. What a jerk!
DeleteThat Reince Priebus sure is a squirrelly little bastard. Plus, Jared Kushner is what my Latino friends call a lampiño. Ha ha!
People were there en masse and did not watch en masse.
Deletehttp://www.motherjones.com/kevin-
rum/2017/01/tv-trumps-inauguration-was-worst-40-years
But they sure as hell were there to protest ALL over the WORLD!
Although I'm from the Northeast, I've worked extensively in the middle of the country, places such as Indiana and Kansas, as well as the south in places like Louisiana. The only, and I mean ONLY, source of news that most of these people get is from Fox News. If you watched Fox, you'd think the inaugural crowds were HUGE and that the protest never happened. Trump and his representatives are speaking only to the Fox News crowd. Once you figure that out, the things they say start to make sense. We need the rest of the press to keep hammering on these people.
ReplyDeleteYou left out the huge influence right wing radio.
DeleteBill Clinton would not have been impeached without right wing radio stirring the pot.
iHeartMedia- formerly known as Clear Channel. Purveyors of "news-talk" radio starring people like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mario Lopez and Elvis Duran.

That may be true however he will not be able to govern the country if he only addresses 40% of the country. Although it appears he doesn’t care.
DeleteIt may have looked like I was robbing the bank Officer. It's an "alternative fact" that I wasn't. Even because of my ski mask and gun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of fucking deceitful ,bombastic, superfluous, double talking, ignorant clowns!
The intelligent people are not fooled. Imbeciles!
When will these liars and lousy con artist be arrested? not funny any longer. Americans have had enough.
ReplyDeleteApril 29 is a Saturday, 99 days after Jan 20th. Would be a good day for more worldwide protests of policies -- with size likely to be proportional to how he is doing. Gives incentive for him to change some actions, since he cares about things like size. And lots of time in between for those not in agreement, infuriated, shocked, abd every other sort of reaction signifying disagreement to continue to act.
ReplyDeleteThat was the funniest press briefing I ever saw.
ReplyDeleteI think Anon 8:28 makes a key point: The expected Trump takeover of the press is already in place in some geo areas and among some demographics.
ReplyDeleteThese audience do not read the NYT, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, even if it is available to them. They DO read and get reinforced by Fox.
The lying makes sense.
If you really understand how propaganda is used the techniques and performance used at Spicer's news conference were completely expected. At this point is important for Trump to isolate and reinforce the Trump base of support. At the same time the media is being classified into losers and winners. See this retweet by Anna Navarro-

I think the press and media have gotten themselves prepared for the Trump gang of thieves!
DeleteTodd was a good example of it today w/Kellyanne - he called her out and corrected her! Perfecto!
These folks need the media and need to appear on the various shows to get 'their' words out to the nation. If they only appear on FOX they will not have the majority watching and listening to them!
The press and media are now going to take their words, lies, etc. and expose them as such!
I remember Spicer from the Bush days and he was not unhinged like yesterday. I was pretty shocked!
DeleteYes, re Fox's audience. And since Megyn Kelly left and they moved Tucker Carlson into her slot, ratings for that hour are up by, I read,10 points. When Kelly left, Fox watchers trashed her and rallied behind the changed lineup. Even with Ailes gone and with the Murdoch sons supposedly wanting a less far-right Fox, it went more right after Kelly left. And late this week several panelist names were announced as having been let go. I can't recall them all at the moment, but one is Will and one Kalb, both well respected. Fox has gotten rid of several panelists who were conservative but a voice of reason over there. Yesterday I kept switching to Fox to see if they were covering the women's march. Every couple hours they'd make a very brief reference to it. They were spending the day honoring Trump.
DeleteYep, works since they labeled First Nations savages. Works everytime, the other, not us.
DeleteWow. She is a piece of work. No wonder Trump kept her around. And why do they bring up Hillary in every appearance? I think that they are afraid of the press, of Clinton, and of citizens. Their cozy little cabal relies on enough people believing their crap and not paying attention. We will not believe. We will pay attention. We will petition, march and call them out. This is OUR nation too. They will not turn us into Nazi Germany.
DeleteChuck Todd grew a backbone!
DeleteTrump has people eager to repeat lies for him.
Conway is like a rabid dog. She is a master liar and rapid distraction tactics.
No matter how Trump and his cronies package his Presidency, I'm still not buying it. The alt right may believe this shit, but no fucking way I am.
ReplyDeleteMe either! He physically repulses me to the max. Horrible speaker, has little vocabulary unless he reads a prepared speech from the teleprompter, is too reactive, constantly nasty, a liar, a thug, overweight, unhealthy looking and assuredly not qualified to be potus!

ReplyDeleteWatch: SNL ridicules Kellyanne Conway’s desperate climb to fame with over-the-top musical parody
In a fairly elaborate reproduction of a musical number form the hit play “Chicago,” Saturday Night Live mocked Kelyanne Conway’s obvious glee at becoming famous as the face of the Trump administration — while also making her appear desperate for the attention.
Using an appearance on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper as a jumping off point, Kellyanne (played by cast member Kate McKinnon) fantasizes about being famous in a production number that includes an all-male chorus line, a hall of mirrors and an enormous red neon sign that simply reads: “Conway.”
Notable in the lyrics in the song Conway belts out, is the line: “And if it all goes up in flames/At least the world will know my name.”

DeleteAlternative fact kelly states: We litigated this all through the election. People didn't care."
ReplyDeleteWe LITIGATED, when was the trial?
-----------------------------------
It's Official: Senior Advisor Says Trump Will Not Release His Tax Returns
Senior Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway said in an interview on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday that the President will not release his tax returns.
"You also have more than 200,000 petition the White House calling on President Trump to release his full tax returns with all information needed to verify Emoluments Clause compliance," George Stephanopoulos said. "Whenever 100,000 petition, that triggers a White House response. So what is the White House response?"
"The White House response is that he's not going to release his tax returns," Conway said. "We litigated this all through the election. People didn't care."
60 percent of respondents to a Pew Research Center survey released on Jan. 10 said that Trump has a responsibility to release his tax returns.
The data in the survey was obtained from a sample size of 1,502 adults interviewed via telephone from January 4-9, 2017 with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
Throughout his campaign, Trump claimed that he could not release his tax returns due to an ongoing audit.
In September 2016, however, Trump admitted that he could in fact make the returns public at any time but implied that he saw no political advantage to doing so.

DeleteNina Turner Calls B.S. On Jake Tapper For Backing Trump's Claim Protesters Didn't Vote
ReplyDeleteCNN host Jake Tapper provoked groans from liberal guest Nina Turner on Sunday when he agreed with President Donald Trump's assertion that protesters who marched for women's rights on Saturday did not vote.
In a tweet on Sunday morning, Trump blasted activists across the country who participated in Saturday's historic Women's March.
Donald J. Trump
✔ @realDonaldTrump
Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn't these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly.
7:47 AM - 22 Jan 2017
"It is a legitimate question, I have to say," Tapper agreed during his Sunday morning CNN program. "Why didn't these people vote? I'm sure a lot of them did. But I bet a bunch didn't."
"Good God, Jake," Turner gasped in reply. "We don't know that all of the folks didn't."
"I didn't say that!" Tapper insisted.
"The president doesn't need to get into these little spats with folk exercising their First Amendment right," Turner explained. "The president should look at it this way, he knows how to bring a crowd out. He brought crowds of folks out all over the world, baby. He did that."
[Ed. add:] It's an inconvenient (but NOT alternative) fact that people *DID* vote. Almost 3 million more votes than for the man occupying the White House, which is part of the reason these marchers feel unrepresented. In fact, Democratic voter turnout was significantly higher overall than Republican, but since the districts have been so gerrymandered, Democrats lost seats. Jack Tapper should know that, but he's already shaping an alternative history to the election.

SNL: Putin trolls Trump over his small inauguration crowd and his amateur lies
ReplyDelete“If you’re going to lie, don’t make it so obvious.”
To President Donald Trump, size matters.
During last year’s presidential campaign, he used some of his time on the debate stage to deny that he has small hands and defend the size of his penis. He and his team would often brag about and (sometimes exaggerate) the size of the crowds at his campaign stops and rallies. And on Saturday, January 21, one day after his inauguration, his press secretary lied about the turnout for Trump’s swearing-in, saying it was “the largest audience ever to witness an inauguration, both in person and around the globe.”
So it’s safe to Trump won’t be happy with Saturday Night Live’s cold open.
The show opened with a message from Beck Bennett’s Vladimir Putin speaking to the American public about how he rigged the election, quipping that America was the “most expensive thing we’ve ever bought.”
But the sketch quickly shifted into Putin trolling Trump, by telling the president he wasn’t off to a great start.
“I’m glad to see so many people showed up to your inauguration,” Putin says, looking at a shot of the massive crowd. “Oh wait, that’s the Women’s March.”
Putin then segued into Trump’s lies about how many people showed up, and offered the new president some advice.
“Today you went to the CIA and you told them a million people came to see you [get inaugurated],” Putin says. “If you’re going to lie, don’t make it so obvious.”
SNL was just spoofing Trump’s penchant for grandstanding and telling blatant lies. But given that, on the second day of Trump’s presidency, his press secretary lambasted the media for reporting on the low inauguration attendance — while clearly lying about said attendance — SNL may have just offered the president some real-world advice he can use.

Wow, television ratings just out: 31 million people watched the Inauguration, 11 million more than the very good ratings from 4 years ago!
6 hours ago - Twitter
Get your facts straight, huh?
DeleteT hat 31.0 figure is higher than Obama's second inauguration in 2013, which drew 20.6 million viewers. But it's lower than that of Obama's first inauguration in 2009, when 38 million viewers tuned in, according to Nielsen. The record is held by Ronald Reagan, when 42 million watched his inaugural festivities in 1981.
You guys are pathetic.
Yup, and far, far, far, faaaaarrrrrr less than Obama got in 2009.
DeleteSo easily disproven and we're only on day two of this.
DeleteAnd here's the thing. I only watched it because I wanted to see as much as I could of the Obamas on their last day, up through that moment when they flew off by helicopter. I wanted to see Hillary too. I wanted to see the people I had supported and felt grateful to. I think that many other people watched for the same reason.
DeleteDoes "viewers" nessesarily equate to "supporter's?
DeleteSome of the viewers might have been regular curious intelligent folks and not his supporters. Just like not all Republicans support him. It boils down to ignorance versus intelligence. Not nessesarily political parties.
@ 9:45 ha ha trump's alternative reality fan eat this:
Deletethose numbers were already disproven yesterday, your leader seems to have forgotten he is no longer on celebrity apprentice.
Does "viewers" necessarily equate to "supporter's?

No, I watched because I wanted to see what a disaster he would make of his speech, didn't disappoint.
"Nearly 38 million people watched Obama’s inauguration in 2009, the highest inauguration rating since 42 million viewers tuned in when President Ronald Reagan took office in 1981.
DeleteViewership for Obama’s 2013 inauguration declined by more than one-third, though the drop-off is typical for second terms."

At least Obama had a second term inauguration.
Trump be lucky if he finishes out one term.
I watched it for the same reasons you did, 10:32, to see the Obamas and Hillary.

2nd lowest first term inauguration ratings in HISTORY. Eat that.
DeleteSpicer is not quite Baghdad Bob. He was reading this. Kellyanne Conway is more BB, right down to her breathing cadence. Watch old videos of Baghdad Bob, known to his mom as Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf.
ReplyDeleteSpicer is more Ron Zeigler Remember pissy Prez Nixon shoving him and telling him to go do his job? It was during Watergate.
ReplyDeleteTrump spends a lot of time worrying about ratings, polls numbers and size of the crowds.
ReplyDeleteOne sure way to boost his ratings would be to RESIGN effective immediately.
I am sure he would get at least a 60% approval rating. Maybe after his supporters figure out that the ACA and Obamacare are the same and they have no health insurance it might even go up to 90%
Yeah his base, all hoaders, all those reality shows...kk....lol. i know some are just unique.
ReplyDeleteLast night's SNL opening was killer. Trump must be more PO'd than ever. And I was glad they fit in the pension bit, getting across that they have been paying attention and know that one thing being investigated is that $ from Russia to the hackers and others working on messing up the election was transferred via Russian-American workers' pensions.
ReplyDeleteYes, let's hope he also saw the tribute to Pres. Obama at the ending.
DeleteHe was so pissed. It was almost comical, like am I watching SNL???
ReplyDeleteNow it is like really? There are things to worry about all over the US and even the world and that is your first press? Omg. Yep, alternative world, Jerry's Bazarro World.
Check out Trump's tweets today. He just had to compare his TV ratings to Obama's 2nd inauguration's. So presidential. Of course, it's also a way to shift from the claim about attendance at the actual inauguration and to make it sound like he's been referring to overall watching of the events.
ReplyDeleteHe also knew he had to finally say something re the protest day. One tweet says what a pres should say, but it's funny how he first mentions the protests in terms of voters. He comments about why these people didn't vote. He's making fun of them, but he's also acknowledging that if more people had voted--and I know Hillary got more votes, but I'm talking about if people all over had come out--he'd not be in the WH. He's admitting that he didn't win because more people in America wanted him as pres, but he won because not enough people who didn't want him to win didn't actually vote.
4 years? End of the World as we know it...

Too funny. And scary. I just read a Yahoo article describing what it was like when Trump started signing the formal nominations for his Cabinet. He'd make a comment as he went about signing off on this pick and that pick. He'd say something related to the person's specific department. But here's the article's blurb on DeVos:
ReplyDeleteFor Betsy DeVos, the Michigan billionaire he chose for education secretary (who had a contentious hearing Jan. 17 before the Senate Education Committee), he said, while looking around: “Ah, Betsy. Education. Right?”
He owes the DeVos's for delivering Michigan. They are the Koch Brothers of the western part of the state.
DeleteThat is why he campaigned so much in Grand Rapids area.
I miss the days of the crazy lady from Wassilla.
ReplyDeleteI do not.
DeleteI don't. Sociopathic Sarah is still too much in evidence. Acceptance of Palin's lies and hateful behavior, plus the refusal of the MSM to really investigate her in 2008, paved the way for narcissistic Donnie.
DeleteSpeaking of Bobs, I had been thinking that Spicer is so like Bob Dornan, former House Rep. Here's a video for anyone wanting to refresh their memory:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esp3QIBEV58
Sean Spicer was on the staff of Mark Foley who sent LOTS of texts to teenage male pages he had met at the Us Capitol. Foley resigned and managed to dodge prosecution, possibly because his Republican buddies in congress helped stall and impede the investigation. Dennis Hastert (famous Republican chimo pervert) who is rumored to have ignored Foley's diddling and sexting because...maybe because he was a criminal type sexual pervert himself.. then "retired" from elected office after Foley resigned.
DeleteWomen’s March On Washington Sets US Protest Record As Estimated 3.6-4.5 Million Marched
ReplyDeleteThe final national crowd estimate is that somewhere between 3.6 million and 4.5 million people marched across the country in Women's March On Washington.
...Consider that the 1963 Civil Rights March On Washington had 250,000 attendees and that the previous record holder was believed to one of either the anti-nuclear protest in Central Park in 1982, the Million Man March in 1995, or the LGBT March for Equal Rights in 1993. Each of these protests had a high-end estimate of 1 million or so.
The Women’s March low-end estimate is more than three and a half times bigger than anything that has ever been done before in the United States of America.
The lesson from the Women’s March from an organizational perspective is that popular movements don’t originate from the top down, which is why Donald Trump’s claim that he is leading a movement goes against all study and examination of previous popular movements.

Even Fox News Says Trump Is Lying About Inauguration Crowd Size
ReplyDelete...The photos that Fox News put up, which look exactly like The New York Times analysis were taken at the same time of 11:15 AM.
Chief of Staff Priebus was not telling the truth, and that is what this dispute is really about. The fact that the Trump administration is so willing to make up their own reality is part of a much bigger and more dangerous problem.
If the Trump White House will lie about something as minor as inauguration crowd size, they won’t hesitate to tell big lies. The kinds of falsehoods that lead to wars and American men and women dying.
The Trump team is so far gone that even Fox News isn’t going the whole way down the trail of lies with them. The facts aren’t a conspiracy against Trump, and an administration that refuses to live in reality presents a grave danger to its own people and the rest of the world.

William Shakespeare, All's Well that Ends Well
THis quote applies very well to Herr Drumph but will his reign of terror end well?
Damn, this is going to be a long four years!
ReplyDelete--------------------
He isn’t going to last four years. I am going to proceed on the assumption that EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth is a LIE. That way I won’t be blind-sided or disappointed.
Bernie was on Face the Nation this morning and invited trump to make good on his campaign promise not to eliminate Medicare or Social Security. He asked him to come out to the American public to reassure them he will keep his promise. HA HA We can’t believe a word he says, so why bother other than to have it on the record as one more lie.
Agree completely 10:58 that Trump won't last four years. My guess is assassination by an enemy of Vlad or use of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment by Trump's Cabinet.
DeleteLike you, I will continue to believe that EVERYTHING Drumpf says is a lie.
*IF* he is ever impeached and *IF* he ever has to testify, this will totally work against him. He cannot tell the truth, even if he can distinguish truth from fiction. He is incapable of it. So he'll LIE under oath, it will be proved that he LIED and his impeachment will succeed. But only *IF* the Republicans want him out. Since they have the majority nothing will happen unless they want him out.
DeleteOf course, then we get Pence.
Just like under Trump we're now thinking, hey G. W. Bush wasn't so bad, I'd hate to think that under Pence we'd be saying, gee, Donald Trump wasn't so bad.
This may be the perfect case of better the devil you know.
I get why the inauguration day would be a federal holiday for logistical reasons, but if it's going to be a fed holiday for people in DC, MD, and VA, why not make it nation-wide and also reconsider making voting day a national holiday?
ReplyDeleteDamn right. Election day should be a holiday.
DeleteThey can't make election day a national holiday. Then the working poor would be able to wait all day at the polls to vote. Can't have that.
DeleteThe Republican Party is all about preventing as many people as possible from voting, just in case they vote Democratic.

It's gobsmacking how she spins and bobs and weaves and justifies and whines and plays victim for her boss.
Uplifting and unifying?

Read what George Lakoff has to say.

"The speech was carefully crafted to deceive, which is a nice way of saying that it was framed to sound like the opposite of his intentions, to make lies sound nice.
It was also an excellent example of extreme conservative framing. The author of the speech, Stephen K. Bannon, is an expert propagandist. Every word and idea contained in the speech was chosen for a specific reason.
The speech was centered on a single Big Lie: that Trump is a populist, a “messenger” of the popular will.
Trump’s speechwriters laced the speech with populist rhetoric. They tried to position Trump as a man of the people who would lead the charge against wealthy elites who have amassed too much power. The speechwriters attacked the “establishment” and promised to remember the “forgotten” people. These parts of the speech sounded more like Bernie Sanders or Robert Reich than Donald Trump. It sounds nice until you remember who Trump really is: a businessman infamous for making money on bankruptcies, for ripping off small business people and refusing to pay workers on his projects. Trump is a billionaire who wants to lower wages for working Americans.
His actions as President-elect revealed an agenda that is the exact opposite of returning power to the people. He’s filling his Cabinet with corporate establishment billionaires who have nothing in common with American families. After losing the majority vote by 3 million, the minority president is handing our government over to Wall Street. He’s chosen people who have always, and will always, serve corporate interests. For instance, Trump nominated Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State. And he nominated Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt — who famously hates the EPA — to head the EPA. The aim is to use governmental authority to destroy all aspects of governmental care."
There's more.
I highly recommend subscribing to his blog.
Just read tweets at Malcolm Nance and Katy Tur's Twitter and it's said that Trump had a separate group of people at the CIA event yesterday who were there to clap and support him, like when he had that recent presser. We couldn't see it because they had to keep the CIA identities secret. And of course Trump used this.

ReplyDeleteTrumpism Corrupts: Spicer Edition
...But like I said, this isn't about Spicer.
What's worrisome is that Spicer wouldn't have blown his credibility with the national press on Day 2 of the administration unless it was vitally important to Trump.
And if media reports about crowd size are so important to Trump that he'd push Spicer out there to lie for him, then it means that all the tinpot-dictator, authoritarian, characterological tics that people worried about during the campaign are still very much active.
You know who obsessed about crowd size? Fidel Castro. You know who did not? George Washington, John Adams, Andrew Jackson, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Reagan, Clinton, Obama and every other man to ever serve as president of these United States of America.
They did a really good job with donald dick's talking heads. I haven't been able to see the seam where the mouth moves. Realistic as hell.

This is his new reality.
DeleteA reality check, a contradiction for every LIE he spews.
The media isn't going to be his friend. No more soft balls.
Attacking or chastising the media isn't going to bring them around to printing the lies. It will only make them more determined to TAKE TRUMP DOWN.
Which they will do.
They created him (much to their regret) and they will destroy him.
His life will be a living hell of exposure, ridicule and criticism.
SNL will be the least of his worries.
what petty fools we have in the executive branch now. and after 8 years of the very hard-working and ardent obama administration, this pettiness could not be starker and seem more ominous.
ReplyDeleteobsession with crowd size reminds me very much of DJT's obsession with his own hand size - did he REALLY think he would get a crowd as big as President. Obama's?
and this spinning of the women's march as women somehow confusedly blaming DJT for the problems caused by Pres. Obama- that couldn't be more devious. no folks, it's all about the DJT administration, and how much we don't like you, and how much we will work to make sure you don't destroy our country and our rights.
some people are congratulating kelly anne for being the first woman to run a successful presidential campaign. i'm sorry, but i can't forgive her for running this awful, ugly, petty campaign that got a traitor to our country into office. no congrats from me, just hisses and boos.
what happened the day after the inauguration, with the women's march - that looked and felt like the US that i know and love. that's the america that i am bothering to stay informed and engaged or.
ohhh, and that sean spicer - he sounds like a third grade teacher yelling at the naughty kids. so this is how we begin. might as well start dressing DJT in a darth vader costume, and have his people dressed like storm troopers, because they have made themselves appear like the villains in movies of old, one-dimensional, predictable, evil, and to be resisted. unbelievable to me that this is really happening. and there are still people saying that we all have to give him a chance - bullshit!
lol, and who's to say that half the crowd that was in the national mall was not there to see the obamas off? that would really stick in DJT's craw!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I think
ReplyDeleteDonald is manipulating the press exactly like he's done with every other opponent. I've not caught on to why, but he managed to berate Cruz and Christie, and yet end up with them sucking up to him. He's abused Christie mercilessly, and yet, Christie kept bending over for more.
Trump's provoking the press as a distraction and so he can brand them not credible when they report on him.
Kellyann's protest that she was being laughed at and her subsequent assertion of being kind is an illustration of how Trumpipulation works. Its also Sarah's tactic of faux-victimization. No one mocked Kellyann, but by defending herself against the mythical laughter, she's planted the idea that it existed.
Frank Iero from the band My Chemical Romance held a press conference to announce that 1) MCR is getting back together, and 2) Frank is leaving his wife Jamia for me. Incredibly, Simon from the band Biffy Clyro tweeted that he is leaving his wife for me as well. Also, my husband is totally fine w/this.
