Keith Olbermann on Real Time last night. "We were invaded."

"The point of a war, other than to gain territory, is to put the guy you want in charge of somebody elses' country. And we're now only debating, after the article in the New York Times yesterday, how much the Russians decided our election."

That for me said it all.

It was great having Real Time back on last night, it has been sorely missed.

And you did not get a chance to watch it you are in luck, because the whole show has been uploaded, by HBO mind you, onto YouTube.

Enjoy.

Well, some one/thing clearly invaded White House Press spokescritter, Sean Spicer's brain. Evidently, shouting PERIOD after a blatant lie shifts it from propaganda to "news".

Trump must crumble whenever a "size" differential is mentioned about him. His inaugural crowd is now the biggest in history (per Spicer's spittle-flecked rant).

I boldly estimated the regime tenure at 2 years after the election. Am revising that to 2-6 months.

Just today I heard myself say to a friend that "I'd rather have Sarah Palin for President". Interesting times.

I remember Spicer from the W Bush years and he wasn't a maniac in front of the cameras like today. That statement he made today was unreal.

Trump's inaugural balls were the best too. I was glued to my TV. Beyonce was there and Rihanna and U2 and the Rolling stones...and I saw Whitney Houston and George Michael and the Beatles and Frank Sinatra and...

    6. It's worse than that.

Someone must have made some calls.

The Department of the Interior shut down the twitter account for the National Park System because they dared to retweet the comparison photos of Obama's inaugural crowds and Trump's inaugural crowds. Those tweets have been removed.

So day one and we're already seeing the suppression of facts and the propaganda coming from the White House.

      You can almost predict it.

It means we can't believe anything coming from the government. We are going to have to rely on alternative methods for information and confirmation.

Or, I suppose, simply take a 180 on anything coming from the White House.

Trump visits CIA and states "we should have stole the oil" Logical thinking says he was in favor of invasion because that is the only way to steal Iraq oil. But he claims he was against an invasion.. For Christ sake this asshole is all over the map on his beliefs. We are SOOOOO fucked!

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?" According to what they say they believe, there are a whole lotta souls in jeopardy.

It galls me how Republicans LOVE war and could care less that young American men die in them! Notice how our representatives in Congress typically have no skin in the game EVER!

Fuck them and make sure you vote them out of office when and if they come up for reelection in your areas!

I think there is going to be a major revolt against Republicans and I'm going to be one that leads it in my area.

Trump will help bring them down!

NY Times Exposed For Hiding Trump Story At FBI’s Request (DETAILS)

...The New York Times admitted on Saturday that they had information about Russian interference in the 2016 elections, Trump’s computer server having ties to a Russian bank and Vladimir Putin, and the ongoing investigation into Russia’s claims of having “compromising financial and personal” information on Donald Trump. They chose not to report on any of those things until after the election.

The reason they held on to that information is even more upsetting than the fact that they held onto it. They kept it silent because the FBI asked them to do so.

We certainly know now that Comey and the FBI are as corrupt as Trump! Makes me sick to my stomach.

That all feeds into the disrespect Americans have for the cops, FBI agents, etc. It's become so apparent they cannot be trusted.

Watch what Trump will do w/the police forces throughout our country within his first year.

There will be more American uprisings as time moves along - and ultimately his impeachment! There is no way Americans will let Trump maintain a dictatorship! Congress will have to listen to us and impeach him. I don't see Trump lasting through his first term!

No, I think the NYT kept silent because they wanted to concentrate their attention on, good grief, the emails before the election. They said they didn't think the Russian connection warranted their attention back in late October. Even the Wash. Post had articles then about the story. No, the NYT is trying not to look as bad as it did when it bought into the lies that led to the Iraq invasion by Bush II.

This is extremely disturbing; I know the NY FBI office director has been waging a personal vendetta on the Clinton’s since Bill was in office.

Why isn’t the fact the NY Times sat on info more widely reported?

However it does explain the WH all out war on the media. Make them look illegitimate before the truth comes out.

Pres Obama mentioned we told you about this back in October, no one listened. Maybe he should have been clearer.

When a toddler melts down because the cookie you handed him looks smaller than the one his brother got, you don't say "they are the same size", you say "your's is BBBIIIIGGGER ".

Sean Spicer short-circuited a melt down in the Oval Office, then tried to threaten the press into backing him up.

We have entered the "bunker mentality" that infected the final days of the Nixon agony.

Too much content, not enough time.

OVER and OUT when they next come up for reelection. They are both for taking down The Affordable Care Act and are Republicans!

Murkowski always lies through her friggin' teeth - check her record - says one thing to Alaskans and does the exact opposite.

And, I could give a shit less that she moved into Ted Stevens old office in D.C.! Why that made the Anchorage newspaper is beyond me. It was irrelevant and a waste of paper and print! There are far more important things going on in D.C. that should garner her fucking attention! Not her goddamn move within the building!

Not by this Congress. The GOP is soundly against the ERA as they are against anything that helps a more or less significant group of Americans. Now laws that help the millionaires and billionaires only, that's different. Those laws receive automatic support by the GOP.

  21. Olbermann makes valid points occasionally but they're always clouded with his aura of self-righteousness. Also, he clearly feuds with just about everybody. Rachel Maddow has described his hostile workplace behavior, some of it directed specifically at her. His checkered history and some of his own anguished admissions/apologies reveal he's more troubled even than most people. Ditto Bill Maher.

Both men are entertaining, but not reliable sources for factual information or unbiased opinions.
