Outgoing CIA Director blasts Donald Trump for blaming intelligence agencies for "pee-gate" and accusing them of being Nazis.

Those tweets went out on Sunday night.

On Monday CIA Director John Brennan was interviewed by the Washington Post:

“Was I a leaker of this? No,” Mr. Brennan said Monday in an interview at CIA headquarters, days before he ends a career that has spanned more than three decades and that took him from entry-level recruit to head of the nation’s most storied spy service.

“First of all, this is not intelligence community information,” Mr. Brennan said. He noted that the dossier had been circulating “many months” and that he first heard about it from inquiring reporters last fall. To date, he hasn’t read the document and gave it no particular credence, he said.

“I would have no interest in trying to give that dossier any additional airtime,” Mr. Brennan said.

Later in the interview Brennan added this:

“I think it’s the right and indeed the responsibility of the president of the United States to challenge the conclusions of the intelligence community,” Mr. Brennan said. “We don’t expect our information and our assessments to be swallowed whole.

“It’s when there are allegations made about leaking or about dishonesty or a lack of integrity, that’s where I think the line is crossed,” he continued, taking particular umbrage at Mr. Trump’s comments last week that leaking intelligence on political figures was something that Nazi Germany “would have done and did do.”

“Tell the families of those 117 CIA officers who are forever memorialized on our wall of honor that their loved ones who gave their lives were akin to Nazis,” Mr. Brennan said. “Tell the CIA officers who are serving in harm’s way right now and their families who are worried about them that they are akin to Nazi Germany. I found that to be very repugnant, and I will forever stand up for the integrity and patriotism of my officers who have done much over the years to sacrifice for their fellow citizens.”
That last bit was in response to this tweet from Trump:
Never, and I mean NEVER, has an incoming president been at war with his own intelligence community.

It does not only threaten to leave Trump dangerously ill informed but it also has the potential of putting Americans at risk in this country.

The intelligence agencies are who we rely on to identify and locate potential terrorists.

What happens when the President, or his staff, refuse to read or understand the information they are being given?

Oh wait, we know what happens.

Congratulations Trump voters, you have now put the entire country at risk due to your ignorance.

What I find most irritating and frightening is the fact that Putin is publically discussing and interjecting himself into OUR politics today! He is obviously supporting The Donald and admonishing us! Fuck him!

Americans and especially Republican leaders in Congress need to wise up and so does Trump! Putin could kill him (or have him killed) in a split second with his KGB background.

I've been saying this for months - we are in fucking trouble with this idiot as our soon to be leader.

  5. Anonymous9:11 AM

Trump projects more than any person I have ever seen. If you want to know what he is, look at how he describes his enemies.
    Crooked Hillary = Trump
    Bad Temperament Hillary = Trump
    Lyin Ted = Trump
    and now...
CIA = Nazi Germany = Trump

By the way...how in the world is this situation that he describes like Nazi Germany? Hitler was about suppressing the media, just like Trump is.

    1. Anonymous10:23 AM

So right. Anything Trump accuses somebody else of, you just know that Trump himself is the guilty one. His whole campaign was about projection.

    2. Anonymous11:20 AM

"His whole campaign was about projection."

    3. His whole campaign was about projection -- and revenge -- as will his Presidency be.

Drumpf, the ultimate purveyor of fake news, complains about the CIA leaking faking news about him...which they didn't.

IMO this P-E is insane and his mental illness puts tour entire country at risk (again). The above picture reminds us what happened under Dubya and Condi, who were over confident of their administration's ability to keep us safe. Dubya was/is stupid, but I don't believe he and Condi were mentally ill like Donnie.

    Nazi Germany?
    You tell US, shit gibbon.
"Some" of us remember history, not your version of it.

  8. Anonymous9:30 AM

Well, when things start blowing up (and it looks like they will), let's hope they have "TRUMP" in YUUUGE gold letters on them. And that they are empty of living beings.

  9. Anonymous9:40 AM

Ahh yes, 9/11, which he said he saw happen live from his office window when, in fact, the WTC towers were not visible from Trump Tower. He'll lie about anything if it suits him!

    1. Anonymous2:49 PM

Wasn't he bragging after the twin towers collapsed that trump tower was the tallest bldg in NYC?

  10. Anonymous9:45 AM

Trump's been famous for being a rich asshole for how many years now? Any info gathered about his family (except very recently) would have been by paparazzi looking for a story.

Or is he so deluded that he thinks the government has been watching him for the last 25 years?

    1. Anonymous10:51 AM

      "paparazzi lOOking for a story"
"Trump regularly corresponded with reporters in the 70s, 80s and 90s under the pseudonyms>
      “John Miller” and “John Barron.”
      "government has been watching"

  12. Anonymous10:01 AM

Seems like only an idiot would screw with the CIA like this. THey are spies you stupid moron, they have your number, they know all about you and your shenanigans. It would be fair game for them to leak a lot more stuff about you. That would be a satisfying end to your so called career, Russian whoremonger that you are. Pee-gate is only the beginning.

I have to wonder how many high ranking Americans in our government and intelligence community enjoyed the company of Trump Models (young girls from eastern europe, brought here to entertain) and unknowingly were videotaped? Might explain a lot.

  15. Anonymous10:15 AM

Maybe drumpf wants an attack? An excuse to make money off the war machine and do an oil/assets gab? Worked for Cheney and Bush.

    1. Anonymous12:43 PM

I am very, very surprised an attack didn't take place before the election. Orchestrated by the GOP. I guess they figured they had cheated enough to win through voter suppression, gerrymandering, rigged machines and fake stories...

Meanwhile, the Clinton Global Initiative is being shut down. Why? Because after the election, regular donors, including a number of foreign governments cut their donations. Clinton supporters bristled at the suggestion that CGI was an influence-peddling, "pay for access" scheme. But the fact that the donations dried up directly following Clinton's loss tends to support the suggestion. The need for philanthropy in the world didn't stop with Clinton losing the election, but potential for access to power sure did.

My theory is that Russia has some very damaging information on Trump (underage sex and financial). They videotape and bug everyone. Trump really talks like a man who has turned. If he loves America so much, why is he turning against it in favor of Russia? Trump is paying Putin back for something.

    1. Anonymous12:46 PM

He must suspect he is swinging in the breeze...any day now, more "could" come out. Putin has won America without firing a shot.

  22. Anonymous10:56 AM

"...To date, he hasn’t read the document and gave it no particular credence, he said."

Look, I get his point that the document is not the product of the US Intelligence community. But, he hasn't even read it? I find that difficult to believe.

    1. Anonymous11:32 AM

I doubt he reads anything. He now has others to do it for him and tell him his opinion on it.

Trump himself has never served in the military. Selective Service records obtained from the National Archives by The Smoking Gun in 2011 reveal the following history of his draft eligibility:

Donald Trump became eligible for the draft on his 18th birthday (14 June 1964) and registered with the Selective Service System 10 days later. He received the first of four 2-S (college) deferments on 28 July 1964.

Trump received his second college deferment on 14 December 1965.

Trump's previous deferment expired and he was reclassified 1-A (available for military service) on 22 November 1966. His 2-S deferment was renewed on 13 December.

    No record.

Trump received his fourth and final college deferment on 16 January 1968. After graduating from Wharton, he was reclassified 1-A on 9 July 1968. Trump underwent an Armed Forces physical examination (with a result listed only as "DISQ") on 19 September 1968 and was reclassified 1-Y (qualified for service only in time of war or national emergency) on 15 October 1968.

According to a statement from the Trump campaign, the 1-Y classification stemmed from Trump's having bone spurs in both heels:

While attending the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Wharton School of Finance, Mr. Trump received a minor medical deferment for bone spurs on both heels of his feet. The medical deferment was expected to be short-term and he was therefore entered in the military draft lottery, where he received an extremely high number, 356 out of 365.

Despite the supposedly "short-term" nature of Trump's disqualifying physical condition, on 17 February 1972 he was reclassified 4-F (not qualified for military service), presumably due to the abolishment of the 1-Y classification the previous year.

Donald Trump Calls Sleeping Around, Avoiding STDs His ‘Personal Vietnam’ in Resurfaced 1997 Interview
    August 1, 2016 @ 8:25 PM

Donald Trump’s controversial comments about military service can be traced all the way back to 1997.

In an interview with Howard Stern that resurfaced on BuzzFeed and The Daily Beast on Monday, August 1, the Republican presidential nominee, now 70, linked sleeping around with women to serving in the Vietnam War.

“I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world,” Trump told Stern of avoiding STDs. “It is a dangerous world out there. It’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave soldier.” (Trump reportedly avoided serving during the Vietnam War by getting student deferments and a medical deferment.)....

You couldn't pay me to live in Trump tower, or any of his buildings as I have a feeling that they all have targets on them.

      I have thought the same.

From now on I will refer to Trump as President Baldwin. If everyone did it, it would drive him crazier and at the same time keep Alec Baldwin on SNL. Will carry a President Baldwin sign at Saturday's march in Boston.

    1. Anonymous5:54 PM

Sorry, 1:59, I like you but that sign will just be lame. Try never using the word President and Trump in the same sentence even when referring to Baldwin. I believe that a sign with "Putin's Puppet" would drive Trump crazier if that is your intent.

  30. Anonymous2:47 PM

I have been questioning where the CIA has been in all this and after reading some of Brennan statements I feel that they have quite a lot of information on Comrade trump, just in case the FBI happens to lose the files.

Comrade trump is going to be challenging our Constitution everyday, but I have to believe we will be victorious in the end.

We need to keep repeating over and over again, the MAJORITY of Americans did not vote for trump and I have to believe that there has to be at least a few republicans in Congress that when it comes to violating the Constitution they will step up and join the Democrats in impeachment.

    1. Anonymous5:58 PM

. . . will step up and join the Democrats in impeachment and conviction." helped you out on that one.
