New poll is very bad news for Trump administration.

Courtesy of PPP:

PPP's new national poll finds that Donald Trump's popularity as President has declined precipitously just over the last two weeks. On our first poll of his Presidency voters were evenly divided on Trump, with 44% approving of him and 44% also disapproving. Now his approval rating is 43%, while his disapproval has gone all the way up to 53%. If voters could choose they'd rather have both Barack Obama (52/44) or Hillary Clinton (49/45) instead of Trump.

Ouch!

That is not the only place where Trump is having a hard time.

For instance the Muslim ban:

66% of Americans consider the United States to be a safe country, to only 23% who consider it unsafe. Perhaps as an outgrowth of that sentiment only 45% of voters support Trump's Executive Order on immigration, to 49% who are opposed to it.

Of course those numbers are higher among Trump voters, who also identify another factor as convincing them of its necessity:

By a 51/23 margin Trump voters say that the Bowling Green Massacre shows why Trump's immigration policy is needed.

Well that certainly explains some things.

Americans are also not terribly thrilled with the people that Trump surrounds himself with:

Betsy DeVos may have been confirmed this week, but she made a horrible impression on the public. Only 27% of voters see her positively to 49% with a negative opinion of her. Clinton voters are almost unanimous in their distaste for her (5/83 favorability), while she doesn't generate nearly an equivalent amount of enthusiasm from Trump voters (53/12 favorability.) Other people close to Trump have come off poorly as well- Steve Bannon has a 22/45 favorability rating, Kellyanne Conway's is 34/47, and Sean Spicer's is 32/41.

They also want to see his taxes:

58% want him to release his tax returns, to just 31% who don't think he needs to. In fact by a 53/32 spread, voters would support a law requiring that candidates for President release 5 years of their tax returns in order to appear on the ballot.

That of course is exactly the opposite of what Trump believes to be true, which of course is in no way unusual.

However with all of this negative news Americans are still a little ambiguous on whether it is time to start talking impeachment yet:

Just three weeks into his administration, voters are already evenly divided on the issue of impeaching Trump with 46% in favor and 46% opposed. Support for impeaching Trump has crept up from 35% 2 weeks ago, to 40% last week, to its 46% standing this week.

Unsurprisingly Clinton voters are far less ambiguous:

While Clinton voters initially only supported Trump's impeachment 65/14, after seeing him in office over the last few weeks that's gone up already to 83/6.

I think I would be more on board with these last respondents if it did not mean facing the reality of four years of a Mike Pence presidency.

All in all this is a very bad poll for Donald Trump.

Which of course means that it has now earned the title of "fake news" within the Trump bubble.

We should be waking from this nightmare soon.
The adults in the room need to figure out how to handle this crisis.
Drump was in collusion with Russia during campaign.
There is proof that Flynn was. they need to ironclad tie it to Srumpf.
Then election gets nulled. Pence and Spicer lied about Russian ties to our faces,
Th whole lot resigns or os fired.
    Trump: YOU'Re FIRED!
    Hillary sworn in.

I know the succession plan. BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT. The repubs did not win, therefore we are in uncharted territory. The whole thing needs to be throw out and redone. Since this is uncharted, we need new rules as the old do not apply.

    5. Pence is involved. And accomplice during or after the fact.

Remember he was required to sit in on the Putin phone call that was NOT recorded along with Priebus, Bannon and Flynn.

All five need to go to clean house. Then the entire cabinet needs to be replaced.

      What a fucking mess.

Let us not forget the Republicans are responsible for this.

Oh the poles are for stripers. This very kind poll from who knows who is bogus. The guy does not even have 25% approval. Who is taking the survey? The alt riggers and paid hackers for trump? Most likely not even legal to vote? The liar in charge is the most unqualified, unelected, unprofessional, unpopular, unconvicted pos to hijack America to date.

Snowden has knowledge and will use it if trump does not do as he is directed by poot. Oh those Russian kgb agents are cute. Trump attacks on judiciary raise safety concerns for judges
By MARTHA BELLISLE - The Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) When a judge who helped derail President Donald Trump's travel ban was hit with online threats, the abuse raised safety concerns among jurists across the country, and experts are worried that the president's own attacks on the judiciary could make judges a more inviting target.

U.S. District Judge James Robart imposed the temporary restraining order that halted enforcement of Trump's ban last week. The president soon sent a tweet saying the opinion of "this so-called judge" was "ridiculous and will be overturned."

Robart quickly became a target on social media. Someone on Twitter called him a "DEAD MAN WALKING" and another on Facebook suggested that he be imprisoned at the military detention center at Guantanamo Bay, "where other enemies of the US are held."

"I know there's a fear among the judiciary with what's being said," said John Muffler, a former U.S. marshal who teaches security at the Reno, Nevada-based National Judicial College. He cited professional contacts and email exchanges with judges.

The president's critical comments have consequences, he added, because "people on the edge can easily be pushed over the edge once the rhetoric gets going."

... Personal attacks and threats against Robart abound on social media.

On a Facebook page about the judge, some people wrote thank-you notes to him, but others called him a disgrace, a traitor and a "bow tie wearing freak." One man directed his note at Robart, saying he couldn't wait "to read about the bad karma that is going to land on your weak slumping shoulders."

One woman wrote: "Open ur home to them if anything happens to anyone in this country like 911 there (sic) blood is on your head, and I will remember to rip u one." Another said, "who in your family is expendable Robart?"

Sen. Al Franken leads bipartisan movement to find out what happened in Yemen raid

Senator Al Franken (D-MN) and a bipartisan group of US senators, including Sens. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Mike Lee (R-UT), have signed on to a letter asking for an immediate briefing on the conflictingly reported Yemeni raid. The letter is addressed to Defense Secretary James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, and Director of National Intelligence Michael Dempse......

... There are a lot of real questions about this military event, including reports that Donald Trump, who made this decision during dinner, decided to not attend the “Situation Room” during the raid and instead attacked news outlets on Twitter.

I knew Gryphen would serve up a lot of unflattering photos of Trump, as he did with Palin. Sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover. Ugly faces, even uglier personalities.

Unlike Palin, Trump somehow schemed his way into a position of great power for himself, and terrible risk for everyone else.

He just can’t keep his fingers off that phone. Continues to undermine court system.

    Trump: 'Legal system is broken'

"Our legal system is broken! "77% of refugees allowed into U.S. since travel reprieve hail from seven suspect countries." (WT) SO DANGEROUS!" the president tweeted.

.... "I am reading that the great border WALL will cost more than the government originally thought, but I have not gotten involved in the....." he wrote. "...design or negotiations yet. When I do, just like with the F-35 FighterJet or the Air Force One Program, price will come WAY DOWN!"

The border wall is expected to cost $21.6 billion, despite Trump's initial estimate of a $12 billion figure and a $15 billion figure from GOP leaders Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell, according to a Reuters report.

ITA that it's a no-win scenario, BUT I would at least sleep better at night knowing Twitler wasn't going to press that button. I don't think Pence (or Ryan) would get us into WWIII. I can't stand either of them, of course, and I wish I could just wake up from this nightmare that is the new reality here.

I am also terrified that even if he were impeached or forced to resign, we might still have Bannon, who is HORRIFYING in all the ways. Or would we, since he doesn't have any really "official" title, or does he? I can't keep up with the madness.

And this stuff re: Flynn is BEYOND disturbing to me and yet I am convinced nothing will come of it.

      *huge sigh*

    4. Pam, I believe that and worse of Mike Pence. He calls himself pro-life, but liberal Catholics call him pro-birth, because he doesn't care about children after they're born.

In Indiana, he slashed food stamps and other programs to help needy families. He said he was "ennobling" them, as if were doing unemployed layabouts a favor, when he was actually hurting the working poor.

Mike Pence is a career politician who does whatever is most expeditious to advance Mike Pence. Just look at him. He has the most unpleasant resting bitch face in politics.

Here is an unsettling site but so well done it is hard to refute the evidence about Drumpf.

I fired a 35 year employee who was illiterate but had managed to bully others into doing her written work for all those years. Gave her a financial parachute.

Won a court case over an illiterate male who refused to take the cash settlement and went for a jury trial. He was doing well in court until I got on the stand. Then when he and his wife took the stand they refused to lie under oath and I was proven correct.

Drumpf flunks the test as shown below:

In addition to misspelled words, misuse of words, repetitive overuse of the same words it appears he cannot read well enough to follow hymns in church.

Early on there was conjecture that Drumpf operates verbally and reading wise at a very low 5th grade level.

Bullying is a scheme used by many who lack skills but can push themselves off on others and scare the hell out of those not on board with them.

He is not a graduate of Wharton Business School and they have requested that he stop stating that. We do not know if he even has a degree.

Thinking about projection as one of his mental issues it is easy to discern how limited he is in his skills. Just reflect back on him the damning criticism he shouts out and that will paint the true picture of who Drumpf, the bully bigot really is.

No ONE knows how really dumb Drumpf is but his need to create a staff close to as ignorant as he is was important less he lose power. Think about it!

Yet another sign of Trump's ignorance is his bragging about how smart he is. Intelligent people don't do that. You never heard the Clintons or the Obamas talking about their intelligence or their degrees, although they all have impressive educational backgrounds. Trump is very, very insecure and afraid people will see through him.

However, we know for a fact that he owes the Chinese over 600million, Russia over 600million, Deutsche bank over 300million and Wells Fargo over 400 million. That is about 2 billion in unpaid debt and we do not know how much other outstanding debt he has. Wealthy? I think not. Bullies and stiffs debtors? Yes.

Charging the taxpayers tons of money in just this first three weeks - Florida weekends, NYC security for third wife, Uruguay for 2 days for Trump Organization trip by son with tab of $98k plus.

Do we run out of money first (US bankruptcy his goal?) or do we lure an alligator on the golf course and let him try to drain the alligator swamp after said alligator takes him there?

    2. That depends.

He may own millions in assets but we have no idea if he liabilities are greater than his assets. If they are, he's basically a pauper. He's bankrupt. It's all a façade. Would certainly explain his ostentatious bad taste in decor.
