CNN's Fareed Zakaria sums up Donald Trump's strategy in just one word, "bullshitting."

Courtesy of CNN:

"I got into trouble during the campaign saying something about the President which I still think is true," Zakaria told Don Lemon on "CNN Tonight." "I think the President is somewhat indifferent to things that are true or false."

Asked about whether he thought Trump actually believed he was wiretapped, Zakaria contended that Trump's success is based on a lifetime of falsehoods.

"He has spent his whole life bulls**tting," Zakaria said. "He has succeeded by bulls**tting. He has gotten the presidency by bulls**tting. It's very hard to tell somebody at that point that bulls**t doesn't work. Because look at the results. He sees something, he doesn't particularly care if it's true or not, he just put it out there."

Zakaria highlighted Trump's brushing off a question about the White House citing a Fox News report, that claimed British intelligence tapped his phones at President Obama's request.

I know we all realize this to be true, and are just happy that the news folks are finally saying it out loud, but just think about what this means for a minute.

Essentially Zakaria is accurately saying that the president of the United States is completely full of shit, and that he has no intention of ever being truthful.

It is not a case of a politician stretching the truth, massaging the facts, or lying by omission. This is right to your face lying with virtually every single fucking word that comes out of your mouth.

This is pathological.

And what it means is that the American people, and the world, cannot trust ANYTHING that this president, and by extension this White House, says about ANYTHING.

Therefore since this man is the the most visible representative of the United States our country no longer has any credibility, about anything, anywhere in the world.

Go ahead, tell me again how untrustworthy Hillary Clinton was again.

OT but just read somewhere else that DUH and Dull are moving to Texas of all places. We are watching a home show right now from Texas and it's amazing how cheap it is to live there; guess that got priced right out of Alaska since Granny ain't able to grift for all the bastards any longer.

Good riddance to those two, and Tripp and Trigg and the FAS kid and the one that is now in her toxic belly. Wonder if they'll take the DWTS baby too, since no one will know them down there?

There are no income taxes in Texas, but property taxes are HIGH, since they have to cover everything that needs funded. I think sales tax is around 8% too. Texas? is DUH going to work for Cruz? So Brissy is selling yet another overpriced dwelling then?

Is Duh trying to slide into the opeon back door of Texas politics? Texans don't take kindly to carpet baggers.

Texas has a history of electing STUPID politicians. Dubya, Perry, Abbott and others. Maybe Duh and Bristles think they can dazzle the hicks with their "sophistication"??

I'm wondering just how friendly $ara and Cruz are since she stumped for dRumpf a year after she was on stage kissing Cruz and wife's asses( $ara's wearing the black t-shirt mini dress with black cowboy boots, yeeech).

MOH and Barstool in Austin, TX? Really? This is NO WAY to keep Austin weird. It's a great way to bring down property values, tho.

MOH and Bristol each barely graduated from high school. It will be interesting to see how they handle Texas, even Austin, in the summer. And Austin is, I believe, about the most liberal part of Texas. Remember Arizona didn't last long for Bristol.

I thought Austin was a liberal city, why would they move there?

Are they going to leave Tripp in AK and only take Trig with them? Or is Tripp going to get stuck flying back and forth.

Then again Levi did say everyone is happier when Bristol is happy. I take that to mean, she gets her way or there is hell to pay.

I really really hated what he did to Clinton. She is intelligent, experienced, honest, and those 'lock her up' rallies must have hurt a lot. How do you fight a man who despises you so much he'll say anything to turn people against you? He is an evil man. And those conservative family value liars are just as bad. You got taken, conned, lied to, and are still supporting that POS who calls himself "the best President?" I hope he strokes out, and takes his greedy can and greedier Cabinet with him.

Instead we heard about a liar, a mans sex issues, his outlandish parties of sex, Viagra, golf courses and crimes. Hillary or Bernie actually won the election legally. Hillary, Michelle Obama and several others are the examples of leaders America wants our young girls and women to follow. Strong Women with brains, beauty and wisdom. Yeah I read that. I would actually put it at 75% disapproval since the Russian/trump/REPUBLICAN rigged election. There are 25% of people in the usa that do not watch, listen or read the real news, some vote. Their only source of information is fox fake news or no news at all. Trump is not Our President. In what turns out to be yet another blatant Trump lie, when “tiny hands” promised to take decisive action to reduce the rising cost of medicine, and stop pharmaceutical corporations from “getting away with murder” with exorbitant and ever-rising drug prices, he didn’t get approval from the big pharmaceutical companies. Trump took “decisive action” all right, but it was contrary to his “pledge” and another sign that “his government” exists to help corporations, in this case drug companies, continue “getting away with murder.” And to keep big pharma’s’ shareholders’ concerns about “murderous” drug prices out of public earshot.

Shareholders and investor groups with 13 pharmaceutical companies acutely aware of “skyrocketing drug prices” filed “shareholder resolutions” last year to force their governing boards to “more meticulously detail their price increases for major medicines, and to provide the rationale and criteria used for these price increases.” That level of scrutiny outraged the drug industry and a couple of days after big pharma’s CEOs met with the Trump at the White House, his Republican SEC commissioner quickly obeyed the CEOs and blocked the “shareholders’ resolutions” from even being voted on.

Why not. In the end Trump is easily impressed by billionaire corporations and people. They are what he aspires to. Forget the voters; forget his oath of office. He's in power to cozy up to billionaires.

Saw Amal Clooney and an ISIS victim on Fareed's show this morning. Important work she's doing in trying to prosecute ISIS war crimes. Seeing how much she cares, how dedicated she is to helping others, and listening to her articulate her cause, it felt good being reminded that not all rich and famous people are like the selfish Trumps. They are nobodies in the grand scheme of things. They think they are changing the world and will be thought of as greatness in the future, but the Trump name will not wear well over time.

He's already lost of the US our place at the head of the international table and the respect of nearly all of the world's leaders. He's brought scorn upon us, the citizens of this country and wreaked such havoc that I doubt many will ever trust us again.

I'm sure many of you have noticed the same thing; for the last decade if you look around the grocery store, or really any public place you realize that you are surrounded by idiots, so I'm sure, ,like me, many were not surprised by Trump's election. What I truly don't understand is how we were lucky enough to have 8 years of Obama considering the overall abhorrence of our population, but hey, I'm happy we had him, even if he was a the coda for our country as we know it.

Per the fable about the boy who cried wolf, the problem with being known as a liar or "bullshitter" is: when you NEED people to believe you... they won't. The best one can hope for is that they'll doubt you.

Imagine a president whom the generals doubt.
    ...the congress, the lawmakers, doubt.
...the leaders of States doubt him.
    ...the people doubt him.
Not the intelligent agencies, however - they know he's lying.
