Donald Trump actually handed Chancellor Angela Merkel a 300 billion dollar bill that he claimed Germany owed NATO.

Courtesy of The Sunday Times:

Donald Trump handed the German chancellor Angela Merkel a bill — thought to be for more than £300bn — for money her country “owed” Nato for defending it when they met last weekend, German government sources have revealed.

The bill — handed over during private talks in Washington — was described as “outrageous” by one German minister.

“The concept behind putting out such demands is to intimidate the other side, but the chancellor took it calmly and will not respond to such provocations,” the minister said.

So I guess Trump was full of shit yet again when he tweeted this:
This guy is a national embarrassment now.

Good job Trump voters!

"Donald Trump actually handed Chancellor Angela Merkel a 300 billion dollar bill"

More liberal media lies to smear Emperor Drumpf!! Everyone knows the largest denomination bill is the $2 billion bill with Edgar Buchanan's picture on it!! smh

Oh shit, I did it again.. Hey, Gryphen, I was trying to wrote another boneheaded comment and accidentally put Petticoat Junction star's EDGAR Buchanan's name when every idiot knows the $2 billion bill featured President PAT Buchanan's portrait. Can you do me a solid and edit that for me? I didnt notice the mistake until I hit PUBLISH and now it's too late to fix. Thanks, dude.

DOUBLE SHIT!!! Gryphen, I made another mistake!! This just isnt my day! It's the TEN billion bill that has Pat Buchanan's picture plus he never actually was officially elected president despite his own inflated ego desperately urging him to run. Would you mind editing that part, too?

I promice to profreed my bullshit comments better in the futore from know on.

Don't worry. Beldar, like Zorro, is never far away, watching over the little people and protecting them from The Orange Menace. And not the modern Antonio Banderas Zorro but the REAL Zorro from the late 50s.

to applying that mentality, Kushner “will continue to wear many hats, driving foreign and domestic policy as well as decisions on presidential personnel” and “serving as Trump’s lead adviser on relations with China, Mexico, Canada and the Middle East.”

Jared, Ivanka and Donald are so over their heads in even thinking they can lead our country! This is all fucking unbelievable to watch.

We have a family running our country which is a dictatorship!

Run every goddamn one of them out of government and impeach Trump! Why isn't someone in power doing something and calling them on their bullshit, lies, fraudulent methods, cheating others, etc.?

And, to top it all off, we are paying for their opulent lifestyle and the multitude of security folks protecting all of them. Let THEM pay for all the security. Donald is very afraid as he knows someone would drop him like a fly if they could!

I, as an American, do not want to pay taxes to protect them. They are taking our country financially and in so many other ways!

    4. Anonymous11:33 AM

Someone should hand HIM the bill for the $3 million trips to Mar-A-Lago f**k yourself, plus the security for his three worthless "kids" and the rest of the tribe.

    5. Anonymous11:30 PM

Yeah they keep trying to get that HUGE account that has had over a century of interest to build. Live entertainment for us to see.

WH Denies Billing Germany for NATO. Trouble is, WH is as Dishonest as it is Stupid

Satirical blog “Breaking Burgh” offered us one amusing scenario for what happened when Trump tried to bill Germany $375 billion for protection services rendered:

When asked how she planned to respond to the demand, Merkel implied she would be taking her lead from President Trump.

“Tell Donald I’m going to treat his ‘invoice’ just like he treats the ones from his contractors and caterers. Ha!”

Good answer. Wouldn’t be surprised, though it’s satire if that was how Merkel actually responded. The story certainly explains Angela Merkel’s expression when she looked at Trump during their joint presser.

The White House is denying the event ever took place, of course. You know, because it’s embarrassing to have a president so colossally ignorant of how the world works after he repeatedly assures us with “Nobody knows the system better than I do.”

And here he thought NATO worked like his golf resorts, with membership fees. No wonder he wants to deny it now. The only problem is that Trump is a liar. He also wanted us to believe he was holding meetings until it turned out he was golfing this weekend.

The fact is, Trump did insist in tweets that Germany owed the U.S. money. Just this past March 18 he tweeted,

    3. Anonymous10:49 AM

A spokesman for the German government on Monday denied media reports that U.S. President Donald Trump handed a multibillion-euro invoice to Chancellor Angela Merkel when they met in Washington earlier this month.

      Will Gryph correct the post?

" Wednesday's International Women of Courage Award ceremony as a special guest, the Washington Post reported. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will be there, as well.

The International Women of Courage Award, which is coordinated through the State Department, started in 2007. It honors women "who have contributed to global stability, peace and prosperity, often in the face of incredible adversity," as spokesman Mark C. Toner said a news release earlier this month.

"This is the only Department of State award that pays tribute to emerging women leaders worldwide," according to the State Department's website."
