Donald Trump's silence on the CIA hack is deafening.

Shhh, nothing to see here.
Courtesy of 9 News:

In the past few days, Donald Trump has tweeted about Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vladimir Putin, ExxonMobil and wire-tapping.

But in the wake of the biggest national security leak since Edward Snowden, both Trump and his White House have been decidedly silent.

Trump has not spoken or tweeted about the 8761 documents and files published by Wikileaks overnight that presents a scathing expose of the intelligence-gathering methods of the CIA.

It's unusual for an administration to keep mum about such a revelation. The White House could have accused Wikileaks of fabricating the evidence, or have expressed their concern about the privacy breaches, or have offered their resolute support to the CIA.

But by doing nothing, Trump is leaving the CIA out in the cold.

So this is from an Australian news outlet but when I read it I thought that they asked a very good question;  "Why hasn't the Twitter tyrant tweeted about this?"

Which by the way goes right along with "Why doesn't Donald Trump EVER criticize Russia for anything that they do either?"

Staying away from any conspiracy theories one might assume that Trump is waiting for more details before he responds, but then of course you would then remember that he accused President Obama of tapping his phones based on a Breitbart article with absolutely NO real facts to back it up.

Okay so then if you got just a little more conspiratorial you might think that since he is having this ongoing battle with the intelligence agencies maybe he is secretly glad that the Russians hacked the CIA and released the data on Wikileaks, but realizes that gloating about it publicly is not exactly a good idea.

However if you go right ahead and take the plunge into the "conspiracy" pool you might assume that since we have been told that Trump is helping the Russians target American journalists, that he is also working with them to go after American intelligence agencies that he also considers his opponents.

Which of course would mean that none of this surprised him in the least, and in fact he was aware that it would come out to deflect from news that these same intelligence agencies are set to testify in front of Congress on March 20th.

Diving a little deeper we might then come to the realization that Trump is in fact an active Russian spy currently working with, if not for, Vladimir Putin and helping him scoop up all kinds of damaging intelligence while also undermining our democracy from within.

But of course those are just conspiracy theories, right?

Right?

      Right. He's not a spy. He's a puppet. There's a difference.

His job was to remove the sanctions and to allow Russia to do whatever it wants in the Ukraine, et al. And also to destabilize the US and make a point back home to the Russkies about the futility of democracy. Putin doesn't care about the wall. He doesn't care about the Muslim ban. He just didn't want four more years of sanctions.

Ah, but if he dared cross these people they would take him down and his ego can't handle that; they have all of the dirt on Trump and would happily spill, spill, spill if he gets nasty with them.

Just like when Bannon slipped his NSC appointment into an Executive Order without telling Trump, Trump signed it, had a tantrum about it then never mentioned it again. He knew better.

Trump's campaign was rotten with Russians- it would have been a dereliction of duty for the CIA not to take a close interest in Trump's activities given he had no appreciation, no concept, and no concern for national security.

Trump himself admitted he couldn't be trusted not to spy on naked teenage girls. Who would trust him with anything?

As bizarre as it sounds, I do now accept that it is possible that Trump has been colluding with Russians and is a willing pawn of Vladimir Putin. His motivation would most likely be money.......either he owes the Russians a ton of it, or he thinks that he can "make deals" with Putin which will send a lot of money his way. Or it's the pee pee party videos? But how was Trump able to convince so many people within his campaign/administration to collude with the Russians? Were they so into winning the presidential election that they were willing to commit treason to do it? Or was it a narcissist "follower" kind of thing, where they've become convinced that flattering and doing the bidding of the narcissist is extremely important to them? I'd guess that Trump was initially attracted to Putin because of his vast wealth and power.......which for a narcissist of Trump's supposed (imagined?) wealth, Putin and Bill Gates are probably the only two people in the world who Trump respects, and probably not Gates so much since he isn't a cold blooded killer. I am wondering at what point Trump may cross the line and decide for himself that killing off certain inconvenient people is the best plan of action? He was probably quite disappointed when he found out that US spy agencies really aren't a personal kgb type assassin squad for the president. That may in fact be why Trump is so unhappy with them.

I think the money laundering of Russian billions is more likely to be the cause of Putin's clear power over Trump.

That would also explain why Trump had all those casinos going bankrupt- they'd only be useful for money laundering for a limited period of time.

Bear in mind that any hypothesis is not unreasonable in light of what we do know about Trump: that his campaign spent a hell of a lot of time going to Russia and meeting with Russians (while Hillary Clinton's campaign spent zero time with them); and Trump won't tolerate a bad word said about Russia or Putin.

      Delete
    3. Anonymous4:07 PM

It's money -- his son even said that they have done hundreds of millions of dollars in business with Russians -- why are people forgetting that?

      And probably the money laundering…

But I'm gonna say that the pee pee party happened, too. This would Putin even more power over Trump. No one would fucking care about the money laundering thing. The pee pee party thing would be a big deal, even if he had never become president, because then Melania could sue him for divorce. Rumor has it that there's a fidelity clause to the pre-nup.

I suspect he, Putin, also has crap on Trump's kids?

And I would bet that he probably also threatened T with death.

My theory is that T. didn't want to be president but that he ran for president on a lark and planned to step down, but when he started winning, Putin stepped in and said, Hmmm, what if you didn't quit. If you look at the timeline, the hack of HRC happened shortly after Ivanka met with Putin's gf. In a foreign country.

I seriously doubt that the prostitute story even happened, in fact it would have been better if it had not been reported because it couldn't be verified and therefore made the rest of the dossier appear illegitimate.

melanomia is not going to divorce little donnie over a sex tape, he probable has the goods on her early career in NYC anyway.

Putin isn't going to use a sex tape to blackmail donald either. He is going to use money laundering.

Trump supporters could careless about a sex tape also, if the grabbing the pussy conversation didn't disgust them, some whores in Moscow aren't either.

If this entire thing weren't so global I wouldn't agree with you but unfortunately it is, so I do.

The world has recovered from dark ages before, so in time, perhaps generations from now light will shine again. Perhaps it will take an event as drastic an actual visit from hostile aliens to reunite the world, only time will tell, but yes, the immediate global future is rather bleak, even for those countries who have done all they can to remain neutral and be stellar examples of government, they too will suffer along with the rest.

Trump-Russia conspirator Michael Flynn registers as foreign agent, admits he took half million dollars

Former Donald Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has officially registered with the United States government as a foreign agent today, in the process admitting that he took more than half a million dollars in lobbying funds from Turkey during the U.S. election. Flynn’s paid work for Turkey had long been reported, but he’s now acknowledging it. This raises the question of what endgame Flynn is playing amid the exploding Trump-Russia scandal.

By registering as a foreign agent today and reporting himself for having taken the $530,000 from Turkey, Michael Flynn is essentially admitting guilt on the matter, and appears to be trying to position himself for some kind of leniency. This move suggests that after years of unsanctioned international freelancing on his part, Flynn is now suddenly trying to get his legal ducks in a row. Today’s action was likely taken on the advice of an attorney. But Flynn is also facing the fact that he lied to the FBI about Russia, a felony. So what has his attorney instructed him to do about that matter?

Flynn’s next move now becomes crucial in terms of telegraphing how he plans to try to survive the Trump-Russia scandal and who he’s willing to give up. His sudden desire to “go straight” legally today may be a pretext for cutting a deal with the FBI in which he agrees to share what he knows about the involvement of higher-ups such as Donald Trump or Jeff Sessions.

But whether Michael Flynn is planning to drop another shoe on Trump’s head over Russia, today’s decision to register as a foreign agent (source: AP) marks yet another black eye for the Donald Trump campaign. It was employing a foreign policy adviser who was simultaneously working as a paid foreign agent, and it likely knew it at the time.

Paul Manafort’s Russian protege Konstantin Kilimnik flew in for GOP platform change negotiations

FBI eyes Konstantin Kilimnik over his Trump-Russia role

    ...

Paul Manafort’s protege Konstantin Kilimnik is based in Ukraine, where Manafort once worked to get Kremlin puppet Victor Yanukovich elected. Kilimnik is also believed to be a puppet of the Kremlin. He attracted the attention of the FBI when he flew into the United States in April to meet with Manafort at a time when Manafort was serving as Donald Trump’s campaign chair. But then Kilimnik later flew in again during the summer, and ended up bragging that he had played a role in changing the Republican Party platform from a pro-Ukraine to a pro-Russia stance.

This is notable in that three of Donald Trump’s campaign advisers – Jeff Sessions, Carter Page, and J.D. Gordon – all now admit to having met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last summer.

The National on CBC Canada just did a piece on traitor trump and his lies, whether he really believes his lies, how the republicans are legitimizing his lies by not holding him accountable and saying he is just being the Donald, Mr. Celebrity Apprentice, instead the president of the USA.

They interviewed a woman that was a representative while Nixon was in office. She stated the main reason they moved for impeachment was the American public bombarded Congress with letters calling for impeachment, that Nixon could no longer be believe, he lied.

I believe if Congress actually investigates this russian fiasco, trump will be impeached and it will be because WE the PEOPLE demand it.

Donald Trump is “haunted” by the ghost of Barack Obama’s first term

Trump's inauguration crowd size comparisons and "wiretapp" claims reportedly stem from an obsession with Obama

...Sources close to the president reportedly chalk up his latest set of wild allegations as part of a larger obsession with his predecessor. After all, Trump finally committed to his decades-long flirtation to run for the White House only after his multi-year birther campaign against Obama failed to provide any proof the 44th president was born anywhere other than Hawaii.

...But as his administration quickly became bogged down in scandal and petty infighting, President Trump has become more entrenched in his conviction that Obama holdovers are trying to sabotage his presidency.

“I think that President Obama is behind it, because his people are certainly behind it,” Trump said of damaging leaks in a recent interview on Fox News. “And some of the leaks possibly come from that group, you know, some of the leaks, which are really very serious leaks, because they’re very bad in terms of national security.”

The New York Times reported that during conversations at his Mar-a-Lago resort after his latest round of golf Saturday, Trump expressed an unfounded anxiety about his predecessor. Much earlier that day, the president sent off a shocking round of tweets accusing Obama of illegally ordering a wiretap on him during the presidential election.

“[T]he president sounded uncertain of the procedure for obtaining a warrant for secret wiretaps on an American citizen,” according to the Times, yet he remained passionately animated by his rage at the thought.

...According to one adviser, also “gnawing at Trump … is the comparison between his early track record and that of Obama in 2009, when amid the Great Recession he enacted an economic stimulus bill and other big-ticket items.”

Costa followed up his reporting on Trump’s apparent jealousy of his predecessor’s accomplishments during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Hardball” Tuesday.

“He truly thinks day-to-day about President Obama and he compares himself to how much President Obama was able to accomplish in his first few months in office,” Costa told host Chris Matthews. “He does often talk about what President Obama was able to do with a democratic Congress back in 2009.”

Costa reported that Trump is “somewhat haunted” by “President Obama’s first term.”

Trump has a sicko hate-crush on Obama.

I'm convinced that the birther thing was just to get Obamas attention...then he insisted for years that Obama was part of half dozen conspiracies....

Then he has to constantly compare himself to Obama over every. tiny. little. damn. thing, and lies about them when he inevitably falls short.

Now that Obama is ignoring him again Trump has belted out three unbelievable lies in a the course of a week to get him to respond.
