NBC News reports on Donald Trump's problems with lying as his approval ratings plummet.

THIS is what NBC News is starting off their broadcast with tonight following the Comey hearings this morning.

No longer is there any pussyfooting about Trump's false statements, NOW they are simply calling him what he is.

A liar.

And if that were not bad enough Trump's approval ratings are now reflecting the American people's lack of confidence in his ability to do the job and their ability to trust anything that he says.

Courtesy of HuffPo:

President Donald Trump’s latest approval rating has sunk to a new low, according to the latest Gallup poll.

Only 37 percent of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing, and 58 percent disapprove, the daily poll found Sunday. Those are the worst ratings since he took office eight weeks ago. His approval rating stood at 45 percent just nine days ago.

Trump’s approval rating is lower than any other president at this point in his first term since Gallup started tracking the numbers 72 years ago in 1945. Barack Obama’s rating at this point in his presidency was 60 percent.

And remember, this was BEFORE the Comey hearing this morning.

Wait until it starts to hit negative numbers.

It will take something more than this to get the 37% of voters, the True Believers to stop thing positively about the Donald. These are people who would vote for a reality TV star over someone with experience in governing so it is going to take alot more than this.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.

    WTF?

First daughter Ivanka Trump gets West Wing office

Cementing her role as a powerful White House influence, Ivanka Trump is working out of a West Wing office and will get access to classified information, though she is not technically serving as a government employee, according to an attorney for the first daughter.

Since President Donald Trump took office, his eldest daughter has been a visible presence in the White House, where her husband, Jared Kushner, already serves as a senior adviser. On Friday, she participated in a meeting on vocational training with the president and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Jamie Gorelick, an attorney and ethics adviser for Ivanka Trump, said Monday that the first daughter will not have an official title, but will get a West Wing office, government-issued communications devices and security clearance to access classified information.

How the Left Is Using Tea Party Tactics To Take On Both the GOP and the Democratic Establishment

Organizers are plotting a populist one-two punch.

...“The big danger that Democrats face,” Sandberg warns, “is that an uninspired base will not bother showing up if they don’t see Democrats fighting.”

“It’s a fight for the soul of the party,” she adds. “Is the party going to choose to join the resistance movement, or does it want to embrace Trump?”

Here Is What Collusion Looks Like Between the Trump Campaign and the Russian Government

Chris Hayden of the Center for American progress sent out a list of what looks to be possible collusion points between the Trump campaign and the Russian government after the FBI Director James Comey said they were investigating whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia.

If the DNC's emails had not been revealed, then DWS and Brazille would still be in their former positions of power. I think they have major problems with honesty, and am glad they were found out for what they did to the supposed-to-be democratic process of choosing a Democratic candidate. They hurt Mrs. Clinton's chances worse than Susan Sarandon ever could (she's still catching hell for voicing her opinion and personal choice). Brazile LIED to journalists.

I was wondering how come Giuliani seems to have disappeared, is he trying to stay off the radar?
    ================================================
While Comey Hearing Zapped Roger Stone, Don't Forget Giuliani

..... To date, no evidence has surfaced tying Giuliani to the hacking of the 2016 election by the Russians. What does exist are nearly ten years worth of Giuliani's law firms representing Russian and Ukrainian clients. One firm even maintained two offices in Kazakhstan, a former member of the U.S.S.R. In the U.S., he partnered with a firm that represented Russian and Ukrainian clients in a real estate venture. And in a strange twist of fate, Giuliani represented a Ukrainian politician that opposed another of Trump's adviser's clients, Paul Manafort's Victor Yanukovych.....

What is with the GOP and Russia or its former member states? They seem to feed off one another. Truly bizarre knowing the history of the middle years of the 20th century and GOP witch hunts. Why the sudden interest in that part of the world? Is it the dictatorships? Is it the (perhaps) hidden great natural resource wealth? For a political party that has spent over a century wrapping itself and its leaders in the American flag, none of this makes sense.

#45's negative numbers subtracted from his positive numbers right now are -37 (subtract from positive numbers + 53 = 16. If the numbers were reversed, he would have a negative approval rating of -16.

In surveys, undecided/not sure/don't know could be 10 in this example.

Americans who swept Drumpf to victory — lower-income, older voters in conservative, rural parts of the country — stand to lose the most in federal healthcare aid under a Republican plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, according to a Times analysis of county voting and tax credit data.

Among those hit the hardest under the current House bill are 60-year-olds with annual incomes of $30,000, particularly in rural areas where healthcare costs are higher and Obamacare subsidies are greater.

In nearly 1,500 counties nationwide, such a person stands to lose more than $6,000 a year in federal insurance subsidies. Ninety percent of those counties backed Drumpf, the analysis shows.

And 68 of the 70 counties where these consumers would suffer the largest losses supported Drumpf in November.

Most affected by the Republican health plan would be parts of Alaska, Arizona, Nebraska, Tennessee and Oklahoma, where Obamacare insurance subsidies have been crucial in making high-priced insurance affordable. All five states went for Drumpf. Also hit hard would be parts of key swing states that backed Drumpf, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan.

It's about time that the media began calling a lie what it is: a lie. Late last week it was called "b***s****ing" but not a lie. A lie is a lie. When told repeatedly by the president of the United States, by members of his administration and by his Congressional cohorts, lies are still lies.

Since we, the people, have no idea when our president is telling the truth (has he ever?), we can never trust him. And trust is essential to running a country or living in one.

Something has to change in Washington and, for once, no one can force the Democrats to share the blame. This is a GOP problem. It is their president, their White House, their administration and their Congress. Hopefully, a few of GOP members of Congress will rise to the occasion and quit blaming President Obama for what is their problem and start finding a solution before it all dissolves and we become a mere puppet state of Russia with nothing left but a shredded Constitution and memories of when we were better. It was only a couple of months ago.
