And if that was not enough, then Trump tweeted this just today.
Despite what you have heard from the FAKE NEWS, I had a GREAT meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Nevertheless, Germany owes.....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2017
Yeah the meeting was so great that Trump then felt it necessary to shake the Chancellor down like some Mafia goon for protection money....vast sums of money to NATO & the United States must be paid more for the powerful, and very expensive, defense it provides to Germany!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2017
Perhaps somebody should inform Orange Hitler that this deal with Germany is part of the 1949 North Atlantic Treaty (NATO for short) that we signed to ensure that they knew we had their back as a preventive measure to tamp down the kind of desperation that would allow a fascist to rise to power in that country again.
Too bad there was nothing in place to prevent it from happening here in this country.
Oh wait, there was. It is called the Constitution.
His behavior is reprehensible.
ReplyDeleteShe should have spit on his claw. He is a disgrace and con. He deserves no respect. He owes millions to usa taxpayers and victims of his crimes.
ReplyDeleteGryphen, the Constitution means diddly squat to this megalomaniac. His boorish behavior toward the leader of Germany just goes to show what a despicable individual he is and what a tragic thing it is that he is America's top representative on the world stage.
ReplyDeleteThat look on her face! was she thinking “this guy is an idiot” like the rest of us?
ReplyDeleteAdd not understanding how NATO works to the list of things that are “too hard” for little donnie to understand.
everything is 'COMPLICATED'
DeleteThe “really intelligent” lawyer got his info from the russians, so trump has been spreading russian propaganda. TRAITOR!!!
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to see the “evidence “ little donnie presents in two weeks. Has everyone notice he always says he will present (insert whatever) in 2 weeks: Melanomia’s immigration papers, proof of Obama’s birth etc.
==================
Report confirms Fox News’ Napolitano got his British Intelligence conspiracy theory from Russian state media
The New York Times has confirmed that Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano sourced his false allegation that former President Barack Obama asked British intelligence to spy on President Donald Trump to a discredited former CIA analyst. This analyst, Larry C. Johnson, floated the conspiracy theory on the Russian state-sponsored news network RT on March 6, the week after Trump's original accusation that Obama was responsible for an illegal wiretap......

WTF?????
ReplyDeleteGermany has to pay the US???
Yep. And they've BEEN PAYING.
DeleteSeems like NATO agreed to rev up their spending, but GRADUALLY.
ReplyDeleteThat idiot orange a$$hat does not realize that upping your defense budget means you either have to earn more, or you have to cut something else - and not callously, like HE does with the US.

ReplyDeleteGosh for someone who is known for not paying his bills, he sure spends a lot of time “trying to collect” from others.
ReplyDeleteDid little donnie impress the German Chancellor with his fluent German? Her English is probable better than his 3rd grade level.
Probably, yes.
DeleteNailed it, twice! Thanks.

Germany already pays for protection. They'd be more than happy for the U.S.to leave. They're tired of paying for protection and still being called freeloaders. They also don't feel the need for it any more.
ReplyDeleteIf they were smart they'd boot us out, ramp up their own defenses, and aid other EU countries in doing so as well. Same with Japan.
DeleteThe asshole will never make it through the first year. He's a crappy potus and needs to be impeached immediately.
ReplyDeleteAmericans hate the bugger and find him not representative of the majority of the population.
Thousands of Republicans will have to start running for reelection in 9 months. They know they're fucked if Trump is still in office.
DeleteIt'll be exciting to see what desperate Republicans are capable of.
PS: who do you know that's not registered to vote?
The real reason Donnie did shake her hand:
ReplyDeletehttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/C7KKYvAUwAE4vY0.jpg
My very first thought when I read he didn't shake her hand. She has bigger hands than he does and was scared of her grip.
DeleteDonnie can do what he wants until the court says he can't!
ReplyDeleteO/T Why the f*ck we have to pay for that wall? Only his supporters want that wall, let them pay for it. If you think the German people didn't like trump before Merkel came to see trump they really hate him now.
ReplyDeleteIvo Daalder tell it like it is:
ReplyDelete1/ Sorry, Mr. President, that’s not how NATO works. The US decides for itself how much it contributes to defending NATO.

So the fat orange con artist wants money from the girl to prevent his lord and master Vlad the Terrible Dresser from invading Germany?
ReplyDeleteDo I have that right, peepond?
To the voters who thought a non politician would be a fresh idea for the Presidency; Would you hire a plumber to set your broken leg? A chemist to build your house?
ReplyDeleteI just don't get it.
I don't get it either. I'd much rather have a president who understands how government works and who is familiar with the Constitution, someone like Hillary Clinton for example. And every day I think how smoothly the White House ran while President Obama was in office, despite the never-ending obstruction by the GOP in Congress.
DeleteHaving run a rather corrupt family real estate business is no preparation for being president! Can this charade of a presidency end now; less than two months has been too much for a failed experiment already.
Beaglemom
He looks like he's delivering a constipated dump in that photo, red face and all.
ReplyDelete"An "increase in defense spending is unpopular, and so is Donald Trump. By 'ordering' Merkel to increase spending, he will make it harder for her to sell that increase at home," he said. "Nothing would be worse for Merkel than being seen as taking orders from Trump. ..."

Twitter Piles On Trump After ‘Klusterfu**en’ Angela Merkel Visit
ReplyDeleteThat didn’t go well.
From President Donald Trump’s refusal to shake hands with Angela Merkel in the Oval Office, to the president’s insistence yet again that he was a victim of wiretapping to the aghast look on the German chancellor’s face when she got a load of Trump, the meeting between the state leaders Friday was a bust.
The only chortling amid the screams were tweeters, who landed a few humorous jabs at the president’s expense.
There were those who were sad to see Merkel leave:

Are you time traveling back 70 some years and pretending that Germany and the rest of Europe are in the same state of economic and social affairs currently, as they were in the years following WW2?
ReplyDeleteWhy should the US keep footing a a majority of bill + military that they are more than capable of participating in?
Have you ever thought that the USA foots the bill because they can "lord" themselves over those countries.
DeletePart of the treaty after WWII is that Japan is not to arm themselves and the US said they would protect Japan.
It is another way of controlling other countries.
Is Japan in the discussion with regards to NATO 8:12, or are you doing the liberal sideways dance again?
DeleteBTW, that is kind of funny, so now apparently, according to you the liberal left thinks we SHOULD be LORDING over other countries, and also wants to cut military spending? Can't have it both ways buttercup...
Instead of repeating every comment, which are correct....I had a sad afternoon going over all the wonderful pictures we have from our first family. Rarely if ever Obama wasn't flashing that million dollar smile, as well as Michelle. The smiles were sincere, they are simply happy people. We all know how Angela adored our prez and the feeling was mutual...yes she is the leader of the free world now. The sooner we lose this asshole the better...its amazing how we don't hear more bitching about the vacation money, Trump is due to have spent more than Obama did in 8 years.
ReplyDeleteInside Trump’s White House, New York moderates spark infighting and suspicion
ReplyDeleteOutspoken, worldly and polished, this coterie of ascendant Manhattan business figures-turned-presidential advisers is scrambling the still-evolving power centers swirling around President Trump.
Led by Gary Cohn and Dina Powell — two former Goldman Sachs executives often aligned with Trump’s eldest daughter and his son-in-law — the group and its broad network of allies are the targets of suspicion, loathing and jealousy from their more ideological West Wing colleagues.
On the other side are the Republican populists driving much of Trump’s nationalist agenda and confrontations, led by chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon, who has grown closer to Chief of Staff Reince Priebus in part to counter the New Yorkers.
...This account of the internal workings of Trump’s team is based on interviews with 18 top White House officials, confidants of the president and other senior Republicans with knowledge of the relationships, many of whom requested anonymity to speak candidly.
For the most part so far, the ideologues are winning. One revealing episode came as Trump weighed where he would travel this past Wednesday following an auto industry event in Michigan.

Hey Republicans? Where is that famous "DEBT CLOCK"? Why have you put it away? Your bigly hugely sensationally ugly POS that rigged the election is running up a giant debt for your poor grandchildren to pay. Why are you not worry now? You cult of liars are really standing out like djt face. Red, ugly, gross and looks like the ass end of a baboon..
ReplyDeleteTrump looks like he is leaving a big giant shit on the chair. He looks constipated, moronic and has a lot on his pea size brain. All the crimes, all the jail time waiting for this liar. It is so painful not having a usa president these last 60 days. It puts America in harms way.
ReplyDeleteAnd tonight there's news that he plans on hiring a coal lobbyist as deputy EPA chief. This guy is a such a fucker. It's as if he's having so much fun sticking it to this country. I wish he'd drop dead right now. I mean it. His very existence causes so much destruction and suffering of others. Maybe it'll happen out on the hot and sunny golf course as he's doing his minimal physical exertion. I'd prefer while he was sleeping though so there's no chance to save him.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone note the absolutely aghast look On Merkel s face as he prattle on about being tapped. Then the non handshake.little Donny sits with his hands together with his classic You cant make me! look on his orange bloated mug. No one can claim he didnt hear her ask for a handshake. The entire room was shouting at him to shake her hand. And there he sat looking like the 3 yr old petulant Ass he is.
ReplyDeleteOmg. Drop the "fake news" crap already. You're the president, but you sound like a kindergartner that didn't get his way.
ReplyDeleteThen there was the time Obama spied on Merkel, but hey, a messiah can spy on leaders and that's OK.
ReplyDeleteWell actually that had been going on for decades, well before both Merkel's administration and Obama's. (http://tinyurl.com/l8kduvk)
