A very important, and timely, message from Neil deGrasse Tyson about science in America.

Now see we need to hear as much of this kind of thing as possible to keep us grounded and reality based.

Science is real. It is necessary. And it is ultimately what will save us from ourselves.

Excellent, but so depressing that this has to be talked about.

Sounds good, but shouldnt we wait until the clerics tell us what us what God wants us to think?

But seriously, Dr. Tyson is channeling the spirit of Carl Sagan. Can't do better than that.

    1. He spoke about meeting Sagen, his influence and inspiration in his life on one of the talk shows but I don't remember which one. Bet it's on Youtube.

Welcome to the evangelical state of mind. A new heaven and a new earth are coming, so let's hasten the destruction of this one to usher in the return of Jesus.

Never mind that the Bible says that no one knows the day nor the hour, nor the fact hat Jesus himself called them fools. They know better than God.

One small step that would help is if reporters would stop saying "alternative facts," and instead say "lies."

OT?"This is a first, I'm told. According to an American Bar Association spokesman, no fully accredited law school has ever—ever!—outright shut its doors before."

    1. Well, to be fair, there have been a glut of lawyers in the state for at least 20 years. And Whittier isn't exactly a big name even if they are accredited.

If you insist on getting a law degree, better Berkley than Whittier.
