Glenn Beck and phony historian David Barton are charging $375 to teach college age students fake American history.

"I guarantee you the professors at college will have the wrong answer."

If ever there were a statement that should send you running and screaming away from this "offer" it is that one.

Here is more courtesy of The Friendly Atheist:

We spend our mornings in a classroom-like setting and each afternoon we dig through online resources as well as our unique, original library. We will delve into topics such as:
  • A Biblical Worldview
  • The Truth in History
  • America’s Godly Heritage
  • Early Education in America
  • How the Bible Influenced America
  • American Exceptionalism
  • God and the Constitution
  • Reclaiming the Land
We will research our Founding Fathers, discovering their accomplishments, families, and faith, giving individual presentations at the end of each week. This is a specialized training for 18-25 year old.

We tend to give Glenn Beck a pass sometimes these days because he is an outspoken critic of Donald Trump.

However we need to remember that he is essentially just a shyster selling a damaged bill of goods just like Sarah Palin and even Trump himself.

And only thing that keeps him from being really dangerous is that fewer and fewer people are paying any attention to him.

My God. And this right after Trump has to pay 25 million for his fake University? This guys have no shame, no morals, and no consciences. It's all take whatever they can grab. I suppose his 'Survival Kits" are not selling well since they have their sainted leader in DC now.

I have some friends and family that are willing - eager - to listen to and accept at face value just about every thing Beck says.
    ...it's baffling.
WHY would people believe a charlatan that flunked out of college in his second semester over college-educated, peer-reviewed scientists and historians?
    It's really kind of amazing.
Even when you SHOW them hard evidence disproving what he says, they say that your proof is wrong and Beck is right.
    I don't get it...
But then these same people disbelieve evolution, global-warming, and a couple of them, the landing on the moon.
    So...

A sucker is born every minute. The older I get, the less tolerant I am of these types.

I'm with you, 6:54. I don't give any credence to these types, and you could add flat-earthers to that list of idiots.
No more time for that bullshit.

      Here's a reeeeal nice story:
I have a niece, a college educated young lady that I have known since she was born, who for her first presidential election in which she was old enough to vote, voted for trump. She is half-Lebanese(her dad), and I told her "you realize that the man you voted into office would've left your dad's grandparents stranded in Lebanon, never to come to this country."
She hasn't spoken to me since she told me to "go to hell". Her choice. She will be picking up that phone first, or never.
If ANYONE chooses to hate the messenger for delivering a truth-bomb, please feel free to go fuck yourself.

Confession time: I cannot listen to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean with having the lyric 'Sarah Palin is not my mother' play in my mind.

Glen Beck turned Mormon years ago. He is quite the odd fellow, easily swayed, mixed up and another info commercial wacko. Between organized religion and info commercial crazy nut jobs. Those that are corrupt and greedy networks have created a following of numb brainwashed people. People that cannot think for themselves and that fall for any gimmick offered to them. A percentage of the world population are easily swayed and fall for it. They don't know how to ask a question and believe anything said to them, And don't have the brains to turn the channel or the mental ability to think for themselves. They are sheep. They live to be herded and unfortunately have a vote.

What a nut job. I was approached by a person last year who was incensed I hadn’t read The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire in college. Really? I had taken all the Western Civ classes in general ed, enjoyed them immensely and was taught by profs who were extraordinary instructors and researchers. Yet, she insisted I was not well served by my education. I found this pretty funny given she had not attended any institution of higher education. (This is how people who listen to Beck, Limbaugh and Jones actually talk! Like all of us who actually attended a university were ripped off!) Anyway, back to my point. Not knowing she was a Fox News and Beck bot I was confused why she was so insistent about this book. Then I learned about Beck University! Holy shit. And that sums it up.

The numbers of religious people is falling off so fast and so sharply that the churches and other shysters that make money off religion are scrambling to do anything to increase numbers and keep making bank.

It's fun to watch their desperation. In fact they are so desperate that I just saw a methodist church commercial on The Science Channel; some little girl telling us about miracles and how much better the world would be if we all believed in miracles.

Stuff a sock in a chicky-poo, would I be watching The Science Channel if I was open to believing in miracles?
