Here is Rachel Maddow's take on the revelation that the British Intelligence agencies were the first to identify Trump's ties with Russia.

I know that much of this simply reiterates what I posted at 6:15 however first off I think this information deserves to be shared repeatedly, and second Rachel does an amazing job of sharing it in a way that is both informative and entertaining.

Which by the way has certainly gained her show some special notice.

Courtesy of The Hill:

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow dedicated 53 percent of her program over the past six weeks to Russia, according to a Thursday analysis from the left-leaning The Intercept.

“Maddow’s Russia coverage has dwarfed the time devoted to other top issues, including Trump’s escalating crackdown on undocumented immigrants (1.3 percent of coverage); Obamacare repeal (3.8 percent); the legal battle over Trump’s Muslim ban (5.6 percent), a surge of anti-GOP activism and town halls since Trump took office (5.8 percent), and Trump administration scandals and stumbles (11 percent)," the analysis reads.

As we have mentioned before this approach has garnered Maddow quite a number of new viewers and the ratings for show continue to climb.

And the fact that this is clearly driving the Trump supporters around the bend is easily measured by the number of angry comments we receive right here on IM, insulting Rachel and attacking the format of her show, which is apparently too factually driven for habitual viewers of Fox News and Alex Jones.

Let's face it good journalism is enjoying a renaissance right now, and information seekers are finally starting to recognize the incredible contribution made by folks like Rachel Maddow.

C'mon MSNBC give us some more Rachel Maddow. How about a 2 hour special with her, Joy Reid and Malcolm Nance to discuss the dangers of Donnie wandering around without a clue and access to way too much military hardware for the "short fingered vulgarian" emotionally challenged toddler. I shudder to think what he'll blow up next to distract from his many short comings.

Dispense with Morning Joke and give that time to those willing and able to cover all domestic crazy that is Donnie and his horde of white privilege oligarchs ready to profiteer our government for their personal gain and that of their crooked friends.

GCHQ reportedly tipped-off US security services about alleged meetings between Donald Trump's presidential campaign team and Russia

...However, the information allegedly obtained by GCHQ was reportedly not the result of any targeted operation focusing on Mr Trump or those associated with him but instead came from routine activity directed at Russian spies.

Donald Trump Is Just George W. Bush But Racist

Donald Trump ran an ethnonationalist cult-of-personality presidential campaign, in which his status as a (real) nonpolitician and (imaginary) business genius would allow him to transcend and solve every policy problem. He has retained the ethnonationalist themes, while abandoning, one by one, almost every other populist element differentiating him from the generic Republican brand.

I cannot believe I am writing this but Trump is much worse than Bush. Certainly Bush was clueless but he had an understanding of how government works because of his father's long career. That may have been his only saving grace.
Besides, at Trump's inauguration Bush was aware that the inaugural address was total nonsense.

Racheal Maddow should do a show on Scientology. It is clear that Trump is one and his dysfunctional group of misfits too. TOM CRUISE and KRISTEN ALLEY are attempting to trash Lisa Remini for EXPOSING THIS TAX EXEMPT CULT. It is not a church it is a cult and Donald john trump is one of them. He is causing havoc in this country and around the world. It is time to expose this cult and Racheal Maddow is the person to help Lisa Remini out. This cult is dangerous and must be exposed for the crimes they commit. Russia is scientology friendly, it is a cult and dangerous. Send it to Racheal Maddow

Wording is important. Remember that ALL churches are also cults. My dictionary defines 'cult' as:

'a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. '

So, by definition, your favourite Christian (or Buddhist, or any other) church is also a cult. It comes from the word 'culture.'
(And, I DO understand where you are coming from. I agree, some 'cults' are more scary than others.)

There certainly is the notion of "cult" in all religions but not as cult is defined in today's world. Scientology has its origin in a tax dodge scheme and nothing more.

Here’s How Trump Is Going To F*CK Us Into WWIII, And It Doesn’t Actually Start In The Middle East

...But the MOAB we just dropped on Afghanistan may not be all. Trump is threatening North Korea, too, in a more direct way than saying, “See my giant penis bomb? You shouldn’t mess with me.”

We already sent a strike force across the Pacific to intimidate Kim Jong Un, who’s been shooting missiles into the Sea of Japan lately. North Korea is now talking about conducting a nuclear test within the next few days, and the Trump administration has threatened to hit them with Tomahawks if they do so.

But that’s not all – there may well be an attempt to get “boots on the ground” in North Korea as well:

I suspect that the purpose of the giant bomb in Afghanistan was to scare North Korea. Destruction in one part of the world to make a point in another part of the world is not the best way to handle international relations. Trump seems as unhinged as the North Korean despot.

Trump HUMILIATED As China Roasts Him For Being An ‘Ignorant Child’ (DETAILS)

...Their most frightening response, and perhaps their most precient, was applauding Trump’s Syria attack, saying that it will mire the United States in the Middle East:

“If the United States gets trapped in Syria, how can Trump make America great again? As a result, China will be able to achieve its peaceful rise,” Mr. Shen said, using a term Beijing employs to characterize its growing power. “Even though we say we oppose the bombing, deep in our hearts we are happy.”

Agency Targets Trump In First Ever Protest From Space

The scathing message sent to Trump was inspired by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who said,

“From out there on the Moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a b—h.'”

Indeed. Take a break from trying to kill everyone and “LOOK at that, you son of a bitch!”

You can watch the video of the launch in its entirety here:

Rachel has to have a remarkable staff to work with someone so savvy and sharp. What a contrast to witness an educated reporter every week night. My belief is that she will be instrumental in bringing Drumpf down. She never mentions "impeachment" and my hope is she has something much more deserving as punishment in mind for the impostor.

Kudos to all those reporters elsewhere seeking her out to present their findings!

Joy Reid is another jewel. I record both these women and learn much from them.

Lawrence is another favorite. palmerreport.com is a no nonsense, out in front, fact presenter.

These folks give me hope and renewed faith in what will come to pass.

Rachel's opening monologue is so educational it should be required by public school students. Not sure the others can handle such solid-packed info.

Donnie has no clue about N. Korea or his smarter twin separated at birth, the Crazy Kim. If Donnie pushes Kim's paranoia button, there will be no Korean Peninsular left for "boots on the ground."

It is quite ridiculous the immature and not especially informative comments made by the anti-Maddow crowd. As is usual, the type of people threatened by facts will run back to their Infowars hidey hole to lick their imagined wounds while lapping up the next whacky conspiracy that appeals to their lack of critical thinking skills. You know how facts and evidence based knowledge are pesky things!

    LESSON LEARNED

So CIA Director John Brennan was fired by the guy he was investigating (Donald Trump).

So what does that warning shot directed at FBI Director James Comey tells him?

Git your nose out of my Russian business or you too will have the title "Former" added to your title FBI Director.

    Remember snitches gits fired!
