Sarah Palin weighs in on Trump's first 100 days. Put your hip waders on folks!

This is unfortunately courtesy of Breitbart, so remember to take your air sickness pills and if you click the link also make sure to have your local mental health professional on speed dial.

Shall we begin?

“I’m extremely pleased, of course, that our new president is in there building the team that he believes he needs in order to fulfill promises to the American electorate, to make America great again, and I’m very, very happy that he’s there,” said Palin.

“Remember, those of you who maybe still aren’t aboard the Trump Train but know that the Trump movement had to be ushered in, in order to get rid of the status quo that was harming America, keep doing your ABCs and remember what that was: it was Anybody but Clinton,” she said. “So stick with your little alphabet analogy there. Those who are asking for a grade of this administration, just keep remembering it could have been Clinton.”

Well looky there!

Already there is something that I have in common with Sarah Palin.

Whenever I think of the job that Donald Trump is doing I also remember that it could have been Hillary Clinton, and then I sob ever so softly into my pillow.

Apparently she is not a fan of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, and even less a fan of Common Core:

“If the leader now of the education sector of our country would deny that Common Core is in existence, she needs to try to tell that to our really, really great public school teachers, who still have to explain and kind of apologize to the public school parents – I’m one of them – as to why the curriculum is as confusing and burdensome and less freeing for our teachers, who know what our students need best, as do the parents. Good schoolteachers still have to explain to us that under Common Core, these requirements are quite burdensome and nonsensical,” she said.

She accused DeVos of being “really out of touch” for denying all of this was happening.

Personally I think that Common Core is much better than NCLB, but it is still leaves a lot to be desired.

Wait did I just kind of agree with Sarah Palin twice?

Clearly one of us has been drinking.

Palin then attacked President Obama's so-called "lead from behind" strategy and suggested that Trump was much better at foreign relations. Wait, seriously?

“Trump quashed that. He said no more leading from behind. America is that ‘beacon of hope.’ We are a country … of just this perfect storm, if you will, with the natural resources to be developed, with the manpower, and with the intellect, and with the patriotism, the unity that a country needs in order to be so successful, to be great and to be a leader that other countries would wish to emulate. America has all that, and we can put it into play for the greater good of the world by leading, and not leading from behind, which is kind of Orwellian-speak,” said Palin.

Yes, Trump's new "not leading from behind" has almost got us into like three or four wars so far, and irritated and confused pretty much all of our allies, with the exception of course of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. But then again he's kind of nuts.

Hungry for some word salad?

Here you go:

“Leading again on the global stage and the Supreme Court pick, those are two specifics – but Alex, we need to make sure to remind our friends, our supporters, people who are really tuned in to what’s going on today and get frustrated under any administration. Maybe they’re frustrated with what Trump does, some of the wrinkles that are certainly part of the agenda that we’ve witnessed,” she suggested.

“We can never put our faith and our hope in man, in any one man, certainly not a politician,” Palin counseled. “Man is fallible. We’re going to be disappointed if we put all of our hope and faith in one man – a politician, a government that cannot make us happy, healthy, wealthy, and wise. We need to look at the bigger picture here, as you suggested in your opening.”

Believe it or not that is about as coherent as it got for the rest of the interview, but I will tell you that she babbled about Berkley,  government bureaucrats, globalists, professional politicians, and the yes men around Trump.

After careful analysis my take away from all of this is that Meth is a hell of a drug.

Not even once kids, not even once.

In a more reality based assessment of Trump's first 100 days, Jennifer Granholm wrote on the Huffington Post:

Despite his self-aggrandized deal making "abilities," Trump has failed to convince his own Republican-controlled Congress to pass a single piece of legislation that he promised in his "Contract with the American Voter" for the first 100 days - not one. His major executive orders are being blocked by courts. The Republican replacement plan for Obamacare would rip away health care from 26 million Americans and cause premiums for those with preexisting conditions to explode. Trump is saber-rattling us into another war. His budget slashes funding for everything from arts and research funding to after school programs to Meals on Wheels to food for poor women, infants, and children. His tax plan is a massive gift to millionaires and billionaires, paid for with trillions in debt to China.

Granholm also wrote:

With a 'honeymoon' like this, divorce can't come soon enough.

Now see THAT is the kind of accurate assessment that you would never find on a racist right wing rag like Breaitbart News.

Jennifer Granholm summed it up pretty well.
Its always refreshing to read factual based information. Even when its about imbeciles!

As for Palin , mostly stupid inaccurate, irrelevant
opinions as always. Always looking for morsels of attention. Probably Alex Jones input.

Sorry, I couldn't stomach most of this post, so I bailed early. Anyway, I think Palin's ilk view Common Core and Sharia in the same light: they're not entirely sure what it is, but they know they're 100% against it, so there's no need to learn about it.

And we weren’t just terrified at the political havoc he would wreak, though he has. As of Day 101, neither Trump nor Palin nor any other Republican can harken back to the November, 2016 election.
It's over. Forget about Hillary Clinton. Forget about "illegal voters -- three million of them (!)." Forget about the Electoral College.
Donald Trump, with the aid of the Russian government, took over our country in a coup. He's in the White House. There's no looking back. Stop talking about the election, because you're only reminding us that you stole it.
Now, start to govern. Don't complain about how complicated it is, or how it isn't easy. Don't let one Cabinet member say one thing while the President says something 180 degrees different. Stop attacking your "enemies" and start making positive changes.
If you can't govern the country, step aside, because 2018 is coming up fast and the real citizens of this country are going to take back our government in 18 months.

This Is How 2,000+ Americans Described the Trump Administration (in Two Words)

I recently asked readers of my Twitter account to describe the first 100 days of the Trump administration in two words. More than 2,000 readers responded, and while many of the responses were profane — and some didn’t quite follow the prompt — a trend among the replies was evident: Americans, or at least the 100,000 or so who follow my Twitter feed, have almost nothing positive to say about the current occupant of the White House.

Below I’ve listed several hundred of the responses I received to my query. Be warned: graphic language abounds here, and avid Trump supporters may find themselves repeatedly triggered.

    --Depression-inducing. Alt-world. Laughing-stock. Shitshow. Low-energy. Mind-fuckery. God-awful. Shitshow. Back-pedaling. Nothing-burger. Flim-flam. Flip-flop. Shitshow. Shitshow. Shitshow. Malaria. Shitshow. Caddyshack. Nutjob. Shitshow. Treasonous circus stunts non-stop. Mad, mad, madman. Circus. Shitstorm. Fuck-storm. Skull-fuckery. Shitstorm.

...So what can we learn from all of the above, apart from the fact that my Twitter followers universally detest this president? A good deal, I should think, as again one would’ve expected at least one of the more than 2,000 responses I received to speak positively of the current occupant of the White House. That not even one compliment could be found for this President’s handling of his job — even taking into account the uncommonly anti-Trump environment of my Twitter feed — is, I think, a rather startling finding. The consensus seems to be, as many media pundits are saying, that this has been, in fact, the worst first 100 days of any presidency in American history.

Exclusive: Sources linked to the intelligence community say it is believed that a Russian hacker of the election, Pyotr Levashov, was paid directly by Boris Epshteyn on behalf of both Trump and the FSB.

    https://patribotics.blog/2017/04/29/sources-boris-epshteyn-paid-russian-hackers-for-both-team-trump-and-fsb/

Sources linked to the intelligence community say that Donald Trump accepted laundered Russian money which, through shell companies, supported Russian hackers as they attacked America – and then supported Wikileaks and Julian Assange as he published the results of those hacks.

Donald Trump’s link to the hack on the US election appears to be far more direct than anybody thought – with Russian money, washed into his campaign, paying for Russian hackers who attacked both state voter registration databases and the DNC. Trump also appears to have had direct personal knowledge of the propaganda botnet used by Russia.

To hell and back: My first 100 days of Donald Trump’s so-called presidency

At the very moment Donald Trump became president of the United States, I was drunk on a beach, trying to pretend it wasn’t happening.

Like everyone I know, and millions of Americans I don’t, I’d spent the two months since Election Day swinging uncontrollably between utter hopelessness and gut-wrenching fear. I cried a lot. I drank a lot. My election job had ended in December, and I couldn’t even decide what to do with myself.

I’d been a political writer for seven years, but the thought of spending my every day with the new administration — being required to listen to his speeches, to closely follow his positions and policies — made me physically ill. I had already done enough of that during the campaign.

In fact, I’d covered Trump for years. I published my first post about him in 2011, after he claimed on Fox & Friends that because a Black man had won a season of The Apprentice, Trump was not only not racist, but the “least racist person there is.” Since then, I’d logged countless hours watching his appearances on Fox to promote his birther conspiracy about President Obama. I covered his announcement that he was running for president, every presidential debate, and every Trump rally through the campaign.

Hadn’t I already done my fair share?

I thought about opting out of politics. I’d get an office job that would pay the rent and allow me to ignore the news for four years, and then maybe, maybe, I’d come back to it. If there was even an it to come back to.

I loved politics. It was the thing my family talked about at the dinner table. I was six the first time I went door-knocking for a campaign. (Granted, it was my for father’s ultimately failed run for city council, but I was immediately hooked on the thrill of election night.)

But now, because of this man, this unapologetically racist subliterate bully who laughed — laughed! — about sexually assaulting women, I wanted to run away and block it all out. No more Trump tweets, no more nauseating revelations. I’d be like those people who don’t follow the news but always know which Kardashian to keep up with.

So there I was on Inauguration Day, my phone turned off, my head slightly woozy from a breakfast Blood Mary, trying not to think, Oh my god, he’s the president now. OH. MY. GOD!

Honestly, I doubted we’d even make it 100 days.

    ...And yet …

Here we are. One hundred days since the KKK-endorsed, pussy-grabbing candidate took office, and we are still alive. We are still a country. We still have a functioning justice system in place that can stop him and his rancid policies — even as he makes idle and absurd threats to dismantle that too.

We have Democrats in elected office who have shown surprising grit and unity, and candidates who are turning traditionally safe red seats into competitive districts that have the GOP in a full-blown panic.

And we still have Obamacare. After seven years of Republicans shrieking about it, threatening to shut down the government over it, and dragging the country through litigation all the way to the Supreme Court — twice — to try to kill it, we still have the health care reform law that has given millions of Americans access to affordable health care they would not otherwise have.

    I am one of them.

100 days in, Donald Trump is losing

...But three months into the new administration, Trump has failed the presidency by virtually every possible standard, including his own. Prior to the election, Trump’s campaign released the “Contract with the American Voter,” a document spelling out everything he pledged to do as commander-in-chief. The Chicago Tribune noted that of the 38 specific promises listed on the document, he has only fulfilled 10 of them, a 26-percent ratio. If he were being graded in school, that kind of score wouldn’t just earn him an F. That’s basically a G.

It only gets worse from there. Of the 10 legislative efforts Trump planned to spearhead, not a single one has come to fruition. Roosevelt, in comparison, passed 15 bills during his first 100 days. The campaign to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act has repeatedly crashed and burned, with a shell-shocked president claiming that “nobody knew health care could be so complicated.”

Another last-minute rally to push for a Republican vote on Obamacare before the 100-days mark—in order to give Trump a much-needed win—struck out, just as the the president has so many times during his short stint in the Oval Office.

Trump’s utter ineffectiveness isn’t merely the result of an energized left that has vowed to oppose every single policy designed to attack and strip away the rights of marginalized communities; it’s his own bureaucratic ineptitude. Trump—who has spent much of his time golfing or lounging at the Mar-a-Lago, his private Florida resort—has shown little interest in how government works or even the basic duties of the presidency. That has resulted in his executive orders being continually blocked and challenged for their constitutionality. It’s led to a White House where many offices and positions remain vacant, another empty mansion for its landlord to occupy.

The president is a leader without governance, a president without an office, and a man without a country. Trump can try to save face with a tax reform Hail Mary, a brief proposal that New York magazine has called “a one-page assemblage of campaign bullet points full of hyperbole, bereft of most crucial details, and tied to no legislation.” But the man who has filed bankruptcy six times will keep doing what he has always done—drive his office into the ground until he cashes out.

Just this week, Trump planted himself on the whoopee cushion of the legal system yet again.

  25. Most people with opinions of Common Core have never read them at corestandards.org. I refer to these almost every day as part of my job. It's hard to argue with "add and subtract fractions." Many people also dont know the differences between standards and curriculum.

The issues with curriculum, training, and the like, are not the fault of the standards themselves but of a rushed implementation not allowing for curriculum development, teacher training, lesson pilots, etc.

“We can never put our faith and our hope in man, in any one man, certainly not a politician,” Palin counseled.

We are a country "with the intellect, and with the patriotism, the unity that a country needs in order to be so successful, to be great and to be a leader that other countries would wish to emulate." Uh, does she not realize that other countries literally despise us for our "We're #1!" attitude........and that for a long time our allies have only tolerated us due to our massive army, our technology and our economy? And our "intellect"? Pretty sure that's the liberals in Silicon Valley.........and the economy is also pretty "California-based". In fact, 2/3rds of the top 25 state economies are Democratic, and 2/3rd of the bottom 25 state economies are Republican states. In fact, I really don't even know how the Republican party maintains any kind of reputation as being "pro-business", because they appear to be a party that is not only bad at business, but is being led by a guy who's declared bankruptcy 6 times, and is full of graft and corruption.

Sure, Gryphen, you can say Drumpf is thin-skinned, incurious, incompetent, corrupt, uninformed, misogynist, ill-equipped, cowardly, narcissist, bellicose, lazy, insecure, inarticulate, racist, petulant, conceited and ego-maniacal.

Better to stick to the pooping out another grandkid daughter, $arah, than commenting on world affairs. Lord knows, they can't walk and chew gum at the same time without you.

Poor old Sarah, even no respected blogger will publish her any more.

I'm aware that Jake Tapper and CNN came in for a lot of flack after he 'interviewed' her, HE'S probably still hoping she'll show him her pussy. Dunno what his problem is but her certainly paid for it this time.

She's losing her idiot boyfriends all over the country. Nobody wants to be seen even quoting her now.

It must suck to have all that plastic surgery and still be old and unwanted.

Anytime they interview or report on her, they mock her after the fact. So,in a way she's still newsworthy in a twisted sort of way. The news outlets see her as good for laughs,so they'll invite her on. She's an easy mark for them on slow news days. Even Fucksnews mocks her,but still invites her on. Dim Sarah,a clown, senior pole dancer, future candidate only to an Anchorage mental ward.
