So did Russia know about the chemical attack in Syria ahead of time? Yeah, maybe.

Courtesy of the AP:

The United States has made a preliminary conclusion that Russia knew in advance of Syria's chemical weapons attack last week, but has no proof of Moscow's involvement, a senior U.S. official said Monday.

The official said that a drone operated by Russians was flying over a hospital as victims of the attack were rushing to get treatment. Hours after the drone left, a Russian-made fighter jet bombed the hospital in what American officials believe was an attempt to cover up the usage of chemical weapons.

The U.S. official said the presence of the surveillance drone over the hospital couldn't have been a coincidence, and that Russia must have known the chemical weapons attack was coming and that victims were seeking treatment.

The official, who wasn't authorized to speak publicly on intelligence matters and demanded anonymity, didn't give precise timing for when the drone was in the area, where more than 80 people were killed. The official also didn't provide details for the military and intelligence information that form the basis of what the Pentagon now believes.

As you have probably already predicted the Pentagon refutes this accusation:

A Department of Defense spokesman discounted an Associated Press report that claimed Russia knew in advance about the chemical weapons attack in Syria last week that left more than 80 people dead.

“I’ve seen nothing that corroborates this definitive statement,” Major Jamie Davis told the Daily Caller in a statement Monday. “We continue to review the available intelligence surrounding this incident.”

Boy who to believe on this one.

A report from the highly respected Associate Press news agency, or a statement from Donald Trump's Pentagon reported on the Daily Caller and Info Wars?

Boy that is a conundrum alright.

    ‘People Just Flat-Out Lie’

Andrea Mitchell’s covered seven White Houses. Then came Trump. ‘I’ve never seen anything like this,’ she tells The Global Politico.

...“It is totally sui generis. I’ve never seen anything like this,” Mitchell says. “I have never seen anything like this where people just flat-out lie. You know, black is white and white is black, and they mislead you. It's really disconcerting to see the podium in the White House briefing room being used to mislead or misdirect or obfuscate.”

White House on edge as 100-day judgment nears

'We’ve got essentially 2 1/2 weeks to turn everything around,' says one Trump staffer.

President Donald Trump has far more than three years left in his first term. But inside his pressure cooker of a White House, aides and advisers are sweating the next three weeks.

The symbolic 100-day mark by which modern presidents are judged menaces for an image-obsessed chief executive whose opening sprint has been marred by legislative stumbles, legal setbacks, senior staff kneecapping one another, the resignation of his national security adviser and near-daily headlines and headaches about links to Russia.

The date, April 29, hangs over the West Wing like the sword of Damocles as the unofficial deadline to find its footing — or else.

Step one, says Elliott Abrams: Get rid of Steve Bannon.

“He’s not a good influence on the president,” Abrams, no man to mince words, tells me. Having the White House’s chief political strategist on the National Security Council “was a terrible mistake,” and booting him was a good start to what needs to happen. A giant smile spreads across his face at the thought of Bannon being forced out of the White House completely.

Step two: Get your Syria strategy straight.

Abrams, one of the most experienced Republican hands on Middle East affairs, says that for President Donald Trump to figure what his Syria strategy is supposed to be, he needs to finally staff the positions of the people who are supposed to be developing it, and learn a little bit of the realities of navigating Washington politics and Washington press.

Amid news that Russia was behind Syria gas attack, Trump White House pulls plug on briefing

...ShareBlue caught the switch-up this afternoon when it noticed the New York Daily News had reported that the White House briefing was switched from on-the-record background, to fully off-the-record, just as it was beginning. ShareBlue reporter Tommy Christopher characterized the matter thusly: “as someone who worked as a White House reporter for seven years, beginning a briefing on background and changing it to an off-the-record is something I have never heard of” (link). So what exactly is Trump’s White House suddenly trying to cover up?

    https://www.palmerreport.com/news/news-russia-syria-trump-briefing/2271/

AP confirms: Russia was behind the chemical gas attack in Syria

...Now the Associated Press is reporting today that a Russian drone flew over the hospital where the gas victims were seeking treatment, and then a MiG fighter jet came back shortly thereafter and blew up the hospital to try to bury the evidence (link). The AP is concluding that this means “Russia knew in advance” about the chemical attack.

This raises the question of why Russia would blow up the victims to try to destroy the evidence. Assad was going to be blamed for any chemical attack in his country, because he’s done it before, so bombing the hospital would not have been aimed at protecting Assad. Instead this suggests Russia itself launched the chemical attack, and wanted to destroy any evidence that it was behind it.

Trump Tower’s server was getting a lot more from Russia than just email. Ask Jared Kushner.

...Tea Pain has focused in on Database Replication, which is how two or more computers in different locations manage to store and share the same collection of data. Changes to that database on one computer get automatically applied to that same database on other computers. And the data flowing between Trump Tower, Russia’s Alfa Bank, and Betsy DeVos’ Spectrum Health exhibits telltale signs of Database Replication. Tea Pain goes deep into analysis of the data logs and comes up with the following stunning and well supported conclusion:

“Tea Pain’s working theory is that Russia created a voter targeting database with information gleaned from hacked DNC data rolls and other data rolls ‘acquired’ from other states to feed this growing contact database. That database originated at Russian Intelligence which was in turn replicated to Russia’s Alfa Bank. This is where the ‘data laundering’ takes place, Alfa Bank is the pivot point where the FSB’s data fingerprints are wiped clean.”

His data analysis is long and technical, but worth your time because it’s so crucial in providing an understanding into why the Trump Tower server existed and why it’s so important that the FBI is investigating it. And it plays right into what we already know about Jared Kushner’s role with voter data.

Data Patterns Reveal Trump Tower/Spectrum Health Ran a “Stealth Data Machine” With Russia

We pull back the curtain on Jared Kushner’s “Stealth Data Machine.”

Jared Kushner is currently taking a victory lap, crowin’ about his “Stealth Data Machine” that put Donald Trump over the top in the 2016 race. Let’s pry off the lid and peer into the inner-workings of this “Data Machine.”

Here is an analysis (in part) of the Palmer Report news, considered "extreme far left":

From the well respected Atlantic regarding fake news: “It’s more wish-fulfillment stuff. “Trump About to be Arrested!” Well, yeah, when’s that gonna happen? And we know it’s coming from the left because I know it’s coming from known players. Bill Palmer used to run the Daily News Bin, and it was basically a pro-Hillary Clinton “news site.” It was out there to counter misinformation. Which, okay, fair enough. But then he started to reinvent it as a news site, more and more, and he changed the name to the Palmer Report. The stuff that he puts out there, it’s nominally true. When you click on it, it’s some innocuous story [with an outlandish headline]. That is very harmful, I think.”

Notes from Dennis Kelley: The Palmer Report (TPR) is a liberally biased news site / blog that deals more in confirmation bias than in actual reporting. Confirmation bias generally consists of taking a set of facts, often unrelated, and building a web of conjecture around them in order to present a specific point of view as opposed to the actual facts. While confirmation bias may not be, technically, fake news, the sensational nature of this type of reporting often does more harm than good. Mr. Palmer has been criticized for inaccurate reporting in his work by other fact and bias checking sites, both for his work on Daily News Bin and on TPR, as evidenced by the entries on this list from Snopes, as well this article from the The Atlantic. Although TPR does contain some factual content, the misleading and biased way in which it is presented earns TPR a Questionable rating. (D. Kelley 4/3/17)

A lot of us realize that someone here posts a lot of far left stuff: share blue, palmer report, alter net and quite a few others.

I don't read them, but jut ike you I looked them up and realized they are just "breitbart lefties".

So just pass on by if you see a link that is a far left hysterical "fake left news" site, don't give them the clicks. At least people posting them, if you actually go to one of them, lets you know that they are just as crazy as the far right and you will then ignore, ignore, ignore, as many of us do.

But I hear ya, it's frustrating to realize that what they post is hyperbole at the least and actual fake news at best. But in time you learn what is real and what is not.

Some lefties are just grasping at fairy tales and I can't really blame them, but just because they all rely on their own fake news doesn't make it true.

Eric Trump Accidentally Exposes Who Was Behind Syria Strike And The Whole Trump Family’s In Trouble

Unfortunately, it gets worse. Donald Trump isn’t just placing his close family and friends in positions they have no business being in, but also allowing those inexperienced cronies the chance to influence American military operations. According to Eric, his sister Ivanka was actually the architect of the decision to bomb Syria. Until January 20, Ivanka’s career was in selling cheap jewelry made in China to fans of her father’s reality tv show. She now has a seat at the table in starting a world war.

.......Apparently the Trump kids have forgotten that the term "nepotism" not only means hiring of family members for high positions, it implies that those family members are incompetent or less worthy of promotion than those outside the family.

And that's not all! Apparently Trump bombed Syria to make Ivanka happy?

Yes, because gas chambers are so much more humane than bombs.

Is Spicer a total idiot? Because this seems to go far, far beyond simply being a DICK.

At least they died young and don't have to spend a lifetime experiencing how cruel the world can be.

Here's another old phrase we need to resurrect (along with muckraker, yellow journalist, carpet bagger and LIAR).

    Loose lips sink ships.

And 45 has the biggest maw on the planet.

"President Donald Trump said he told Chinese President Xi Jinping about his decision to launch 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles against Syria while the men ate dessert at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, last week.

During the interview, Trump seemed to dwell on the fact that the two world leaders were enjoying some delicious cake.

“I was sitting at the table. We had finished dinner. We’re now having dessert. And we had the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you’ve ever seen, and President Xi was enjoying it,” Trump recalled in an interview with Fox News Business host Maria Bartiromo that aired on Wednesday.

“And I was given the message from the generals that the ships are locked and loaded, what do you do?” Trump went on. “And we made a determination to do it, so the missiles were on the way. And I said, ‘Mr. President, let me explain something to you.’”

“So what happens is, I said, ‘We’ve just launched 59 missiles heading to Iraq and I wanted you to know this.’ And he was eating his cake. And he was silent,” Trump added."
