The Trump Administration will not, repeat will not, repeal those sanctions stopping Exxon from completing that huge deal with Russian oil company.

Courtesy of CNBC:

The Trump administration will not grant special permission to U.S. companies, including Exxon Mobil, to carry out oil and gas drilling in Russia while sanctions remain intact, according to a statement from Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on Friday.

Exxon tried to secure a waiver that would let it drill in parts of Russia currently blocked by U.S. sanctions, The Wall Street Journal reported this week. That ban was related to Moscow's 2014 annexation of Crimea and support for separatists in eastern Ukraine.

The push came about a month after former Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson became secretary of State.

The Treasury's decision on Friday came as the Trump administration changed its tone on Russia.

Okay to me this seems as if the investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians has really got the administration worried.

Because I will goddamn guarantee you that if there were not so much controversy about it, and so many eyes paying attention, that these sanctions would have been lifted so fast they would have left skid marks.

In fact I think it was this deal that convinced Trump to choose Tillerson, former CEO of Exxon, for the job of Secretary of State.

Now one has to wonder how Putin feels about throwing his support behind Trump knowing that he cannot do any of the things that he wanted him to do once he was elected president?

I would not be at all surprised to see Tillerson tender his resignation in the next few months.

Especially because it appears there is a whole lot of shit, about to hit a whole lot of fans, in the very near future.

“I’ve worked with murderers and rapists, I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away,” he said. “You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.”

    Raw Story:
It’s official: Top psychiatrists at Yale conference warn that Trump has a ‘dangerous mental illness’

    BRAD REED
    21 APR 2017 AT 11:58 ET

35 Psychiatrists this week gathered at a conference at Yale to sound the alarm on what they believe is President Donald Trump’s “dangerous mental illness.”

Per The Independent, the psychiatrists met at Yale’s School of Medicine on Thursday to talk about Donald Trump’s mental health, which they warned was frighteningly unstable.

“We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump’s dangerous mental illness,”said Dr. John Gartner, a practicing psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and who has in the past warned Trump is a “psychiatric Frankenstein monster.”

Gartner and other psychiatrists at the conference argued that Trump suffers from a particularly malignant case of pathological narcissism, which makes him a danger to the country and the world.

“Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was president,” Gartner explained. “If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that’s delusional.”....

    3. It would also be a violation of their oaths to say NOTHING. They are warning the public of an imminent danger. It is their professional duty to do so.

Many have reached this conclusion by watching video of Trump.

You don't have to have a degree in psychiatry or psychology to know there is something mentally wrong with this man. And from his actions in office and the power and authority of that office, you KNOW he is dangerous. He's told us so. "We have nukes, why don't we use them."

I'll bet money that the only reason he dropped the MOAB on Syria is that someone talked him out of dropping a NUKE!

Not sure where I read it, but I think Trump had no idea the MOAB was going to be dropped. He latched onto it afterward.

Trump to hold rally on night of White House Correspondents Dinner

President Trump will hold a rally in Pennsylvania the night of the White House Correspondents Dinner, he said Saturday.

"Next Saturday night I will be holding a BIG rally in Pennsylvania. Look forward to it!" Trump wrote on Twitter.

The announcement comes after Trump decided earlier this year that he would skip the annual dinner in Washington, D.C., breaking with longtime political tradition of the president attending the event alongside lawmakers and celebrities.

The dinner, hosted by the White House Correspondents' Association, is on April 29 at the Washington Hilton.

    4. To what purpose?

Does he think those that would attend the WHCD would attend his rally instead?

Does he think the networks will broadcast his entire rally instead of the WHCD?

Samantha Bee is also hosting a NOT the WHCD. I imagine she'll get more viewers than Trump will have attendees.

Now, will this rally be a 2020 campaign rally? Because if not, what the fuck is it? Another "thank you" rally to the PA's who voted for him? A little late for that. He is also likely to end up with a "do your job" rally or a "hands off my Obamacare" rally.

If he wants an adoration fix, Pennsylvania is not the place to have it.

Putin has built his base right under Bristol's chin. I'm sorry, I meant to say Putin built his base right under Sarah's nose.

Instead of spending all her love and anger on President Obama like a jilted junior high school white girl who was unable to get her swirl on, Sarah should have kept her eyes on the ball as Putin raised his head right above her head.

“As Putin rears his head and comes into the airspace of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state.”

Wait, u think there was something nefarious about rex tillerson being named secretary of state even though he had never met trump before or had any governmwnt or diplomatic experience? Just because Putin has lost billions of dollars because exxon couldn't drill in the kara and black seas, u think he might have wanted Tillerson as secretary of state? We all know Putin hates our State Department because they are the entity that best keeps russia in check. Now if Trump had appointed an inexperienced person to be Secerary of State and cut the department's funding, well then.... oh wait. Nevermind.

Trump slams ‘ridiculous’ 100-day standard—so why is this ‘contract’ with voters still on his website?

With President Donald Trump’s 100th day in office just a week away, the president logged in to Twitter on Friday morning to dismiss the “ridiculous standard” by which the public and media usually measure up a new leader—despite having used that very notional construct as a benchmark for presenting his policies.

...That wouldn’t have been so easy had the president, however, not presented his policy bundle in an easy to digest “contract with the American Voter”—still available to read and sign on his website—a “100-day plan to restore prosperity to our economy, security to our communities, and honesty to our government.”

Donald Trump's terrible reputation when it comes to women is well known.

In fact, we've written extensively on the subject.

And the evidence against him continues to mount up.

An picture has recently percolated around the internet of the property developer turned president once again marching ahead of his wife Melania, seemingly without a second thought.

Tweeted by New York Magazine's Yahar Ali, the images features six different presidents disembarking planes. All of them are accompanying their wives, except... Donald Trump.

He proves time and time again that women are, and have always been, nothing more than eye candy and screwing to him.

His wife means zero to the creep! He has no respect for her at all! She married him for his money and deserves what she got - the good and mostly bad!

    3. Two etiquette consultants were shown pictures of the pair in those situations. The deplaning and the arrival at the White House (when he left her int he car and marched up the steps) and both said that as both a president and a husband he sucks. They said there are times when you are not the president but you are a husband and husband's stay with their wives and help them, like on stairs and such.

But it's not like we didn't know you was an obnoxious bloviating oaf.

His wife is property. Arm candy. Everyone else must respect her but he can treat her like shit.

So you can add this abuse to the many other mental and social defects he has.

At least he doesn't leave a mark if he hits her. It's probably all mental/verbal abuse anyway. That's why men like that marry foreign brides. An American woman wouldn't take that kind of abuse, not even for that money and lifestyle. It's not like Melanoma can leave him. She has Damien and no means of support. I'm sure the pre-nup states if she leaves him she doesn't get a penny. So she has no choice.

Trump: I'm Not Even At 100 Days, You Miscounted

We know that President is undergoing a major, public ego injury tantrum because he has failed to manage any major legislative accomplishments in his first 100 days in office. The scale of the failure is so total one would almost need a Kelvin Scale of fail to capture its full extent. But in addition to all the other panicked flailing, there’s this gambit that seems to have gotten fairly little notice.

President Trump has now at least opened the door to denying he’s not even at 100 days, that people are miscounting and that is in fact at only just over 60 days.

...The new effort to demand a different count or the “30 day reset/handicap” proposed to the AP is likely a sign that he knows he’s shackled himself to the 100 day mast.

    1. Oh, but we are counting it wrong.

Trump is only counting his WORK days, as in the days *he* decided to work.

He still hasn't gotten it into his furry orange head that the president's work days are 7 days a week and sometimes way more than 8 hours a day. It is basically a 24/7/365 job in that he can be awoken in the middle of the night or any hour of the day or day of the week to deal with a crisis. Trump doesn't set his work hours and he doesn't decide what is and is not a crisis. That's the way the job works, baby.

      You're at 100.

And at the rate he's going, an extra 40 days isn't going to make a shitload's worth of difference.

      Still the WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

If he wants to add another 40 "work" days to his 100, fine. That just means his administration could be taken down in scandal and ultimately impeachment before he reaches *his* 100 days.

  17. Yet.

No, they won't get a waiver.

So they'll just wait until the sanctions are lifted.

You better believe that is on the fast track just as soon as this little investigation nonsense is over.

They have to make it look good and natural.

Just like they're making it look like Russia and Trump aren't in bed together over that little Syria dust-up.

But as soon as the dust settles, they'll make nice and as a show of friendship and faith, Trump will lift those sanctions.

I think the Trump administration staged Exxon's request with a planned denial of it as part of the cover-up for Donald's Russia problem. It's certain that Trump is expected to lift sanctions and allow the lucrative oil deal to proceed at some point. Hopefully, he'll be out of office before that can happen or before desperation leads him to start a nuclear war somewhere.
