John Oliver hysterically responds to criticism over his attempt to shame the FCC into protecting Net Neutrality.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

John Oliver wasn’t about to let it go when Fox Business News hosts attacked his net neutrality campaign. In previous episodes, Oliver has worked to explain the complicated topic and began a campaign to encourage people to express a plethora of public comments about the opposition to the Federal Election Commission removing independence from internet service providers.

In a web exclusive, Oliver explained that over 1.6 million comments have been made on both sides of the issue, but Fox took issue with the fact that some were from people saying that their names were “Donald Trump” or “John Oliver.” Other comments were insulting or racist, and Oliver told those commenters to “cut it out.”

Oliver is doing very important work in a very humorous manner, and he deserves nothing but support.

Everybody, and I really mean EVERYBODY, should be helping to protect access to the internet.

Because if you don't think these internet providers would eagerly slow down or interfere with your access to sites like IM, you are sadly mistaken.

I'm pretty sure we are on a list somewhere.

Newest defense of Trump leaking Top Secret info from a White House staffer: He lacks the ability to understand intelligence gathering.

Why the fuck just not come out and say the asshole is an idiot. Then the uneducated would know too! Easy words, Trump and idiot.

Sorry, but being an idiot is NOT a defense.

So far we have heard Mc Masters say, he didn’t tell them anything I was in the room,
he told them stuff but it isn’t important and now we have he doesn’t understand intelligence gathering. What will they come up with next? The russians MADE him do it?

When are they going to restrict him to only discussing his “magic diet coke button”?

Federal Election Commission, I think they mean Federal Communications Commission!!!!

I don’t expect little donnie’s appointee to do anything for the consumer. Only businesses count in trumpland, even the bad ones.

It's unfortunate that people fail to take advantage of opportunities to give genuine opinions and opt to be rude, stupid or both. Soon enough no one will be able to voice an opinion about anything substantial in this country.

Comcast is ending Lawrence O'Donnell's show on MSNBC because he's been honest about Trump. I'm sure that Rachel Maddow's show will be axed soon also. Giant corporations do not want the truth, they want compliance.

We have a friend who's invited us to stay for a few days at his vacation lake home but has informed us that there can be no discussion of politics because he finds it distressing. We're not sure we want to go there now. People can only keep their heads in the sand for so long and then the tide comes in and it's too late.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
