Several White House officials suggest that spokesperson Sean Spicer might soon be replaced with Fox News host.

Oh God, I hate my life.
Courtesy of The Hill:

President Trump has reportedly considered replacing White House press secretary Sean Spicer, and has raised a Fox News host as a possible spokesperson.

Six West Wing officials told The New York Times that the president is considering the most far-reaching shake-up of his first term after being dissatisfied with several top aides, especially Spicer.

Trump has discussed Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle as a possible press secretary, according to the Times, which noted that the president has also spent several hours with Spicer this week praising his TV "ratings" during briefings.

Yes that is what Trump does. He talks you up to your face while searching for the perfect place to insert the knife in your back.

Think James Comey.

(This by the way is not unprecedented as George W. Bush also hired Fox host Tony Snow as HIS White House spokesperson briefly in 2006.)

It also kind of makes sense as Trump tends to blame everybody but himself when things go wrong, and Spicer has been struggling to keep up with the avalanche of lies coming out of the White House and failing to do so.

It perhaps is also not helping that SNL frequently pokes fun at Spicer every chance they get.

Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark.

Speaking of Fox News it appears that Congressman, and recent recipient of Obamacare, Jason Chaffetz might be headed to that network as well:

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) has made no public announcement about what he plans to do after finishing out his final term in Congress, but he has been telling Capitol Hill colleagues he may soon head to Fox News, the Washingtonian reported Saturday.

Two Republican lawmakers who have spoken to Chaffetz, as well as four House Republican aides, told the newspaper that he said he plans to take on a “substantial” on-air position for the conservative news channel.

This move may come as early as July, according to the report—over a year and a half before his term in Congress would end.

Why doesn't Fox News simply end the charade and publicly identify themselves as a clearing house for former and future Republican politicians and White House staff members?

I mean it's not like we actually think they are a legitimate cable news station.

I nominate Sarah to be new spokesperson for White House.

    1. Anonymous9:31 AM

As entertaining as that would be, Sarah would quit. Although her whining matches Trump's. I want to see it.

  2. Anonymous8:40 AM

This administration will be gone by the end of the summer.

    1. Anonymous10:23 AM

We can all hope. Chaffetz has a "face for radio" Hardly a TV face. Those large bags under his eyes are awful.

  3. Anonymous8:44 AM

o/t but check this out. Barstool has as her mother's day post a picture of Sarah while pregnant with Curtis Menard's kid and newly married to cuckolded Todd.
    Passive aggressive much?

As Russia Scandal Blows Up, Trump Tantrums And Threatens To Fire Nearly His Entire White House

Donald Trump is mad because he is failing as president, and he is considering firing his Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Steve Bannon, White House counsel Don McGahn and press secretary Sean Spicer. Trump is also angry at his own cabinet.

If Trump follows through, his innermost White House circle would shrink from a loop to a straight line of mid-30s family members with scant governing experience: Jared and Ivanka. So while the fighting and leaking might ease, the problems may not because it's the president, not the staff, calling the shots.

I wonder how many of these employees are hoping that they ARE next to go? Thankless job, working for this person.

  5. Anonymous8:46 AM

Melissa McCarthy's latest satire of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer showed that the American people had lost all faith in Trump and his White House to tell them the truth about anything.

...The problem that the McCarthy sketch was driving is the perception that Trump is lying to his own staff. People like Sean Spicer are supposed to face the press and explain the administration’s position with no knowledge of what that position is.

When Spicer and the White House’s lack of credibility are the central focus of an SNL sketch, the problem has gone mainstream. The idea that nothing this White House can be believed because Trump’s own staff don’t know if they are being lied to has reached the pop culture status.

Alec Baldwin And Melissa McCarthy Probably Just Put The Final Nail In Sean Spicer’s Coffin (VIDEO)

    1. Anonymous10:37 AM

if only dRUMPf would have grabbed Spicey by the Balls at the end> aka Pu$$y. THAT would have been PERFECT!

    2. Anonymous11:24 AM

Melissa and Alex have done America a huge favor in showing Trump what he looks like, and acts like, to the majority of Americans.

Thank you, thank you!! We're going to miss these specific renditions! But, perhaps they'll still cover each of them in different ways? Spicer on FOX and the continued antics of Trump by Baldwin until he is impeached. Will just have to wait and see!

  7. Anonymous9:10 AM

Fox News...surprised Trump has not demanded TRUMP placed other their logo.

    1. Anonymous10:39 AM

      ....should be OVER their logo.

  8. I can hardly wait for ChafedButtz to show up wearing a mini-skirt and falsies and then having a Fake Noize patented wardrobe malfunction on air.

Wait. I guess I don't have any tv programming so I am not in danger of needing eye and brain bleach. Nevermind.

  9. O/T Explosive

    1. Anonymous9:59 AM

This SHOULD make the repubs very very nervous.
I say this because the Dutch also were extremely active in exposing the, shall we say, inconsistencies and improbabilities with the Official 9/11 story. Several conferences were held on this and top scientific minds from architecture, physics, aviation participated. Also documentaries were made.
I say a a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Dutch leaders for this.
I feel so embarassed that Europe knows all our secrets while people in charge in DC continue to try and make Trump look normal.
      None of this is normal.

    2. Anonymous11:37 AM

      one of many.

  10. Anonymous10:03 AM

This works. Spicer can just go on over to Faux News.

More money, less stress, and he's experienced at lying. And will lie regardless of whatever facts are presented.

  11. Anonymous10:26 AM

Perhaps, Trump will appoint Chaffetz or Nunez to replace Sean Spicer. The perfect storm!

  12. Anonymous10:58 AM

Talk about Trumplethinskin! If he thinks the jibes are going to stop, he is sorely mistaken.
    Thank you, Melissa McCarthy!

  13. Anonymous11:20 AM

Remember that the percentage of Americans that watch FOX are about the same as to the percentage of votes Trump garnered from the American people! He won the electoral vs the majority of Americans favoring him!

He is not increasing his likability w/the majority of Americans. Hillary Clinton had the majority vote - not Trump.

He's nothing more than a fat, lying fuck! (Loved Bill Maher's show on Friday night - good to review Americans!)

  14. Anonymous12:14 PM

The easter bunny just wants to hop away. He has had it, cant lie no more. Maybe huckle B and her crooked face can take over the lying fest.

  15. Anonymous12:19 PM

Yeah the lousy fat lying f*ck sits on chairs like a toilet. He is so full of sh*t and lies. What a lousy actor. Cant wait till he leaves the usa on his mideast lying tour. He wont be welcomed, Nobody likes him around the entire world.

  16. Anonymous1:31 PM

If Sarah Huckabee Sanders is chosen, he will be ridiculed more than he already is! Thank you, SNL.

  17. Anonymous1:36 PM

What I found so amazing is “everyone” ie the media and pundits automatically assumed that Pence, spicy boy and sara were the liars and trump was telling the truth.

For all we know trump was in the the first lie (email lie), then decided to grand stand and stated the second lie, where it was all his idea.

No one even stated that maybe it was trump lying, which is interesting because he everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie and he also has a track record of putting the blame on others for his own mistakes.

  18. Anonymous1:43 PM

This move may come as early as July, according to the report—over a year and a half before his term in Congress would end.
So is he planning on quitting Congress early or collecting two salaries?

  19. Anonymous1:54 PM

Why is anyone surprised, they should have all taken the time to watch the Frontline expose on little donnie. This behavior has been going on for years.

Firing and blaming others is how donnie has gotten away with covering up his stupidity, ignorance and bad business practices, why do they think he would be any different now?

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
