Sort of obvious that Putin has reaped exactly what he set out to sow in the first place.
He has dramatically undermined American democracy and demonstrated his own power at the same time.
And his success is currently being supported and defended by the very Republicans who spoke out so harshly against the Soviet Union back during the Reagan Administration.
They say that revenge is a dish best served cold, I wonder if anybody has taken the temperature inside the White House lately?
Seems like the cockroaches are scrambling in dRumpf's absence! Gonna be quite the "welcome home," donnie boy.

DeleteAfter seeing the contrast between Trump's remarks and President Obama's at the Holocaust museum, it would be a great idea to constantly compare the two men because we all know that Trump can never measure up to Obama in any regard (other than being a far bigger jerk). Trump is bound to know this too and it will be a great way to accelerate his downfall and removal from office. Trump always has to be the best and frequent comparisions to a dignified leader like President Obama is certain to drive him bananas.
ReplyDeleteJust me, but, when he visits The Vatican, I wish Pope Francis would tell him to piss off in Christian terms.
DeleteYou would think the morons on his staff would buy him a Thesaurus or prepared something more dignified that “so amazing” to write in the Holocaust remembrance book.
DeleteOf course little donnie was probable on the side of the Nazis during the war and thought they did a good job “cleansing “ Europe of those inferior people.
Also his statement about “evil losers of life” is really going to put terror in the minds of the terrorists, such strong words evil losers.

ot?"Trump was a frequent guest on your show. Have you had reason to regret that?
ReplyDeleteNo, no reason to regret it. I'm disappointed that this man is representing me and my country. It makes me sick. But we always looked forward to having him on. He was a great guest. He was just a big, wealthy dope who'd come on and we would make fun of his hair. I would refer to him as a slumlord. But now, this goon... I don't know. He's demonstrated himself to be a man without a core, a man without a soul. Is there a guy in there?"

KEITH O.
Whatever the temperature is now, it will drop significantly when the First Twat moves in.
ReplyDeleteNo one will ever take her serious as First Lady and down deep she knows it.
DeleteThen she should enjoy this trip as much as possible as it will be the most respect she'll get as a First Lady. Foreign dignitaries pretty much have to treat her with respect.
DeleteWe don't.
We're about to find out the details of deals that were made with Saudi Arabia and Israel. Of God? Pfffft. That goes for you, too, Ivanka, for "the children."
ReplyDeleteLinguists are analyzing Trump's speech patterns and suspecting cognitive decline.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-wasn-t-always-linguistically-083054278.html
"Research has shown that changes in speaking style can result from cognitive decline. STAT therefore asked experts in neurolinguistics and cognitive assessment, as well as psychologists and psychiatrists, to compare Trump’s speech from decades ago to that in 2017; they all agreed there had been a deterioration, and some said it could reflect changes in the health of Trump’s brain.
In interviews Trump gave in the 1980s and 1990s (with Tom Brokaw, David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey, Charlie Rose, and others), he spoke articulately, used sophisticated vocabulary, inserted dependent clauses into his sentences without losing his train of thought, and strung together sentences into a polished paragraph, which — and this is no mean feat — would have scanned just fine in print. This was so even when reporters asked tough questions about, for instance, his divorce, his brush with bankruptcy, and why he doesn’t build housing for working-class Americans."
"“ … there is no collusion between certainly myself and my campaign, but I can always speak for myself — and the Russians, zero.”
When President Trump offered that response to a question at a press conference last week, it was the latest example of his tortured syntax, mid-thought changes of subject, and apparent trouble formulating complete sentences, let alone a coherent paragraph, in unscripted speech."
"For decades, studies have found that deterioration in the fluency, complexity, and vocabulary level of spontaneous speech can indicate slipping brain function due to normal aging or neurodegenerative disease. STAT and the experts therefore considered only unscripted utterances, not planned speeches and statements, since only the former tap the neural networks that offer a window into brain function.
The experts noted clear changes from Trump’s unscripted answers 30 years ago to those in 2017, in some cases stark enough to raise questions about his brain health. They noted, however, that the same sort of linguistic decline can also reflect stress, frustration, anger, or just plain fatigue."
"The reason linguistic and cognitive decline often go hand in hand, studies show, is that fluency reflects the performance of the brain’s prefrontal cortex, the seat of higher-order cognitive functions such as working memory, judgment, understanding, and planning, as well as the temporal lobe, which searches for and retrieves the right words from memory. Neurologists therefore use tests of verbal fluency, and especially how it has changed over time, to assess cognitive status."
"“But everyday speech is definitely a way of measuring cognitive decline. If people are noticing [a change in Trump’s language agility], that’s meaningful.”
Although neither Johnson nor other experts STAT consulted said the apparent loss of linguistic fluency was unambiguous evidence of mental decline, most thought something was going on."
Trump is sounding like Reagan more and more. And I'm talking late term Reagan when the Alzheimer's was really setting in.

ReplyDelete‘It makes me sick’: David Letterman disappointed to have ‘big, wealthy dope’ Trump representing the US
Former “Late Show” host David Letterman on Monday told GQ he’s “disappointed” that Donald Trump is representing the United States, adding, “it makes me sick.”
“I’m disappointed that this man is representing me and my country. It makes me sick,” Letterman told the men’s magazine...
“He was a great guest. He was just a big, wealthy dope who’d come on and we would make fun of his hair. I would refer to him as a slumlord. But now, this goon… I don’t know.”
“He’s demonstrated himself to be a man without a core, a man without a soul,” Letterman said. “Is there a guy in there?”
Letterman noted he would “love to have 90 minutes with [Trump] in a TV studio,” adding he would ask the president, “All right, Don: What the fu*ck happened?”
