The Resistance lives!

Trump better just learn to live with this, because this is his life now.

My husband says, "like him or not, you have to respect the office." Since when?! Not with him in it, I don't!

Sorry, 2:44, but I can ALWAYS respect the OFFICE! It's just Humpty Trumpty for whom I have no respect.

When I was in the Navy, we had some real pricks as officers. The kind that believed the enlisted men were FAR beneath them and treated us so? We just had to smirk to ourselves and remind ourselves it was the UNIFORM being saluted - NOT the person.

I hope everywhere trumps goes overseas that they PROTEST him and make his life miserable. He is disliked around the world and it will show.

"The American Left Is Talking Itself Into Violence."
"mount this “resistance.” It has a specific purpose, two things: to intimidate the winners into halting the advance of their agenda, the implementation of their agenda — and forcing them out of office."

    1. No one is forcing the farmer's to use it.

Sorry but have no sympathy for sick farmers that intentionally use a poison proven to be harmful to humans.

Well, that's kind of you. The story specifically said "farmworkers". These are the folk who plant and pick your vegetables and fruit. Low income, relatively powerless and often migratory in their efforts to take care of their families. A little compassion and critical reading might help.

@7:24 librarian? Did you read it?
"farmWORKERs were pulled out of the fields last week after they were poisoned by a chemical"

    4. No, I didn't read it because I'm on an iPad and can't cut and paste links, only click on active ones, of which this one is not, so I only had the title of the piece to go on because the poster didn't bother to leave so much as a summary of the article, just a link.

As for the Farmers that aren't working themselves, they can get their asses sued off. I'm sure the ACLU or another pro bono group would be more than happy to step up and represent the workers that are not only being made sick by the poison the Trump organization has approved but also the lack of healthcare the Trump organization has denied them.

I might also add to you fucking airheads I said no sympathy for the FARMERS that get sick. I didn't say farmWORKERS. There are FARMERS that work their fields too and are exposed. Not every farmer is a big, soulless conglomerate.

So stick that up your "literacy".

"Mr. Mulvaney’s comments perpetuate the stigma that one chooses to have diabetes based on his/her lifestyle. We are also deeply troubled by his assertion that access to health care should be rationed or denied to anyone.

All of the scientific evidence indicates that diabetes develops from a diverse set of risk factors, genetics being a primary cause."We’re not allowed to pretend that diabetes is a MORAl failure."Mo Brooks will “allow” sick people to pay more so that the “people who lead good lives”

    1. So is allowing people to die who have genetic tendencies to illnesses and diseases their own version of creating a "master race" through eugenics?

Only the strong, who don't need health insurance, shall live? Oh, and only the smart since only stupid people have accidents?

OT?"We’ve staked a great deal on these chemicals." Nor are SSRIs free of serious side effects, including sexual dysfunction, rapid weight gain and, most troubling, suicidal ideation, especially in younger patients. SSRIs have not lived up to their promise."
"Opiates are still acknowledged as the most effective defence against pain – and also anxiety, in limited circumstances"these drugs are almost universally banned. To use them as correctives for psychological concerns is anathema to Western medicine, and to society at large. They’re for getting high, not for getting well, and their use is met with repudiation and punishment."In society at large, addiction is not sufficiently problematic to attempt banning alcohol or tobacco, even though the average duration of alcohol dependence is 16 years, and only half of those dependent on tobacco quit in 30 years. (You’re far better off addicted to cocaine or pot.)

"Instead of worrying so much about addiction, which tends to correct itself when life becomes tolerable, maybe we should worry more about the sources of emotional suffering. "
"Are we concerned that people might feel too good?" a puritanical aversion to supplying unearned happiness and, along with it, a deep-seated belief that people who suffer emotionally should just get over it."
