A paedophile brainwashed a former Amish couple into regarding him as a prophet and ‘gifting’ him their six young daughters as child wives, a court heard.
Lee Kaplan, 52, convinced Savilla and Daniel Stoltzfus that his relationships with their six daughters were the will of God, who contacted him in his dreams, the court was told.
The first daughter to be “gifted” to Kaplan, it was claimed, was given as a future wife when she was nine years old.
Her older sister testified that she too was molested by Kaplan, the abuse allegedly starting when she was ten and leading to her becoming pregnant by him aged 14 in 2013.
Ms Stoltzfus, 43, also went to live with the accused, Bucks County Court in Pennsylvania heard, and allegedly ended up complaining to her husband that Kaplan had stopped having sex with her, preferring intercourse with her daughters.
This went on for five long years, with the children being homeschooled, and kept in a house with the windows covered far from the prying eyes of adults who would certainly have reported the abuse to the authorities.
This is the kind of thing that seems impossible for most of us to comprehend.
After all keeping our children safe from harm is one of the primary motivators for parents of all species.
However that is the power of religion. It can make you do things that would seem unthinkable when not subjected to its mind numbing effects.
Proof once again that homeschooling is used to isolate abused children.

The only thing that surprises me when I see stories like these is that my ex-husband, the now-on-parole-felon, isn't involved. There are more sociopaths running around than you'll ever know.

ReplyDeleteCase in point, the catholic church is one of the most corrupt institutions on earth, both financially and morally, yet millions still pledge fealty; muslims murder in the name of their god to get virgins in "heaven", christians the world over use torture and murder in the name of their "god" to cleanse "evil" or convert followers.
It's hard to believe that so many on our earth succumb to this severe form of OCD and harm so many others in their quest for immortality.
Will mankind even survive to reach an age of enlightenment?

Didn't Jesus warn of false prophets? And didn't he also say there would be no more prophets after him because his sacrifice was going to tie everything up and make it right or whatever?
So no prophets after Jesus and anyone that claims so is a false prophet.

You'd think the Amish would know better. But I guess that's what an 8th grade education gets you.

Those poor little girls didn't have a chance.
In many areas, the Anish are so fucking inbred that their eyes are actually migrating to the sides of their faces. Bizarrely far spaced. They also are prone to the craziest rate genetic disorders that are recessive, but their gene pool is so homogenous that their kids get these rare and I mean rate shit disorders. Obviously they are mentally deficient occasionally and poorly edumacated. The Amish elders have been told to start mixing up the genes, so families move to other Amish areas to dilute out the shit.
