Impeaching President Trump is more popular now than impeaching President Richard Nixon was at the start of the Watergate scandal, according to a Monmouth University poll.
The poll, released Monday, found 41 percent of Americans support impeachment for Trump. In comparison, 26 percent supported Nixon’s impeachment six months into his second term, as the Watergate scandal was breaking.
Monmouth University Polling Institute director Patrick Murray said the higher percentage of Americans wanting impeachment is caused by “the current epidemic of hyper-partisanship that was simply not prevalent forty years ago.”
Yeah right.
Or it could simply be that Richard Nixon was at least qualified for the job, while more Americans agree that Trump is too unqualified, unprincipled, and undisciplined to carry out the responsibilities of president.
Where can we find out about anti-trump protests and impeachment gatherings before they have them? By the time I read about them, its too late.

House Dems question Ivanka Trump’s security clearance
A group of House Democrats want to know if first daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump concealed knowledge of her husband’s meetings with Russian officials when she was applying for a security clearance.
The lawmakers are asking the FBI to conduct a review of whether President Trump's older daughter omitted information from her security clearance application when she joined the administration as an unpaid White House adviser.
The security clearance forms ask whether applicants or any member of their immediate families in the past seven years had any contact with a foreign government or its representatives. Deliberately omitting facts can result in up to five years in prison....
Reports emerged last week that Ivanka’s brother,Donald Trump Jr., and her husband, now-White House adviser Jared Kushner, met with a Russian lawyer claiming to have damaging information about Hillary Clinton during last year’s campaign....
The lawmakers questioned whether Ivanka Trump disclosed her husband’s meetings with the Russians or if she accurately provided information about her own foreign contacts.
“We are concerned that Ivanka Trump may have engaged in similar deception,” the letter states. “The high standard to which we hold public servants, particularly senior advisers to the President of the United States, requires that these questions be raised, and promptly answered.” ...

Why all the appointments and security clearances for close family members who have prior Trump family business with Russia? Ivanka and Jared have no skill set that makes them useful in the WH. In any competitive hiring process, they would not be hired. (CNN)The United States Golf Association expressed great excitement that the US Women's Open was taking place at the Trump National Golf Club. But the event, which President Donald Trump attended, ended up being a TV ratings disaster for the organization.
The biggest event in women's golf, which ended Sunday, was held at the President's club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
But like the President's approval ratings, interest in the tournament was at historic lows...
Sports Media Watch reported that Sunday ratings for the U.S. Women's Open were down 40 percent from last year, giving it the lowest overnight final-round ratings since at least 1996. This was the first time in 15 years that the US Women's Open won't be among the most watched women's golf events of the year, according to Sports Media Watch, which covers TV ratings.....
If they wanted better ratings, they should have chosen a better venue.

President Trump is the people's president. After losing all those Trumpcare Revisions, he is renting buses to bring the Democrats and Republicans to the White House so they can bond together and come up with a healthcare plan that is good for America. The so called politicians in the Washington haven't called him on any of his atrocities. I think there is also collusion in our government.
According to Rachel Maddox, Trump has already stared to fulfill Putin's wishlist. And noone ain't sayin' a thing. Why? I think Republicans are more Russian than they realize.
Only there's one flaw. As an American you can brag all that you want about how you and Vlad have the same ideology. But it ain't true. As an American you'd be willing just to sell but Putin at this point is doing the buying.
That's the worry.
People are trying to normalize Putin. Ask his victims. Is Putin not a threat? Is Putin just an innocent bystander? Will he not "off" you if you marred his plans for world dominance or whatever the man wants?
