Donald Trump compares colluding with a foreign government to steal an election with the possibility of receiving debate questions ahead of time.

Damn, that is just pathetic.

Every time Trump feels under attack his first response is to deflect by saying "They did it too," or making something up to direct attention to others.

Just want to point out that there is no evidence that Hillary actually received any questions ahead of time, this was a town hall not a debate, and that Hillary would have been prepared for that question anyhow.

As for those 33,000 emails he keeps going on about remember that the Bush Administration "lost" 22 million of their emails.

But Trump was not quite done this morning.
That's right, it's the news media that is distorting democracy in this country.

Not the attempts by Trump's Russian pals to hijack our election process, or widespread voter suppression, or GOP gerrymandering.

Nope its the press.

This guy that fudged his way to be a POTUS, loves warfare. It is his strong America when there are battles to win or help the weaker countries we can have some control and manipulate to win.

He wants America to have a failed education system. He wants more military. The rich can be educated but middle class and poor will be easier to control and use if they are in the military. Think of all the Dakota Meyers the military can produce.

I can hardly blame Jared for wanting out. When push comes to shove who would Trump turn on in his Russia mess? Would he throw his namesake JR under the bus or would he throw his daughter's husband under the bus?

Wasn't Jared already used by his own father in some felony legal problems? I think he sucked up and was a 'good son' but he may have felt used.

Jared can't be as stupid as these people appear, but he may have had a lot of encouragement and legal back up with Trump lawyers when he was asking for back channels with Russians and some of that business. Once he was in too deep and could figure out how serious his position was, he may have had to go along with the cover up.

Now he is dealing with the federal laws he may want out. Trump may want to keep him closer.

Ivanka is the glue that keeps them together. How stupid is she? She believes her father?

Jared knows if he sticks with Trumps, he will be the fall guy. But how can he get out with his children and wife?

I would feel sorry for Ivanka if I could feel sorry for any of them. She believes her father, has no other father and grew up thinking he was what he portrayed.

Even when they have different opinions, her father has the power. She really is not an independent person with her own life.

He bought her boobs and all the cosmetic tricks to look like his dream, educated her and kept her attached to family business. On her own she would not have been able to have the jobs and business she did. She just brought in Jared Kushner to the operation.

It is understandable she would be attracted to another rich criminal type.

Sorry, 1:21, but there is a point when children learn what is right and wrong, regardless of who has raised them. I grew up with a parent who was mentally ill and had values and behaviors which I realized as a very young adult were wrong.

I also lived near NY and saw Trump in the media constantly, saying vile things about women and bragging about how he had cheated people who worked for him. When you allow yourself to be pulled into a family business that succeeds by lying and cheating others, you have made a deliberate choice.

Tiffany made the choice to separate herself from him and live her own life and Ivanka could have very easily done the same. She chose to accept the advantages that being in the family business offered and then chose to marry a man who demonstrated all of the reprehensible qualities her father has.

      HER decision.

U.S. Sanctions Ruined Trump’s Real Estate Project in Moscow

Sanctions against Russia prevented the Agalarovs and Trump from collaborating on Trump Tower Moscow. A representative of the Agalarovs was at the Trump Tower meeting. Does anyone seriously believe that the lifting of sanctions was not discussed at the meeting?

Rob Goldstone, the British publicist at the center of the latest Russia scandal to engulf the Trump administration, has reportedly said President Trump’s real-estate project in Moscow fell apart after U.S. sanctions damaged the Russian economy. President Trump has repeatedly played down the idea that he had any major business deals with Russia after a licensing deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow was abandoned last year. Under the deal, the high-rise was to be built by Russian oligarch Aras Agalarov, though it would have Trump’s name on it. In comments cited by Yahoo News late Tuesday, however, Goldstone said the plans never came to fruition because “the economy tanked in Russia” after Washington slapped Moscow with sanctions in 2014. Goldstone also said Donald Trump Jr.—currently under fire for agreeing to meet with a Kremlin-connected lawyer for dirt on Hillary Clinton during his father’s campaign—was spearheading his father’s real-estate efforts in Moscow. The new details come as it was revealed that the younger Trump met with the Russian lawyer at the behest of Agalarov’s son Emin, a pop singer. The Agalarovs, who are also tied to Russian President Vladimir Putin, were reportedly the driving force behind Trump Jr.’s meeting with the Russian lawyer.

Details in Donald Trump Jr.'s emails align with parts of the explosive Trump-Russia dossier

Uh oh, the pee pee tapes!

The astonishing emails posted on Twitter by Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday display parallels with the controversial unverified leaked document from a former British spy that BuzzFeed published back in January.

President Donald Trump blasted BuzzFeed for publishing the document, which had not been confirmed by any independent source or authority. He called Buzzfeed "a failing pile of garbage" at a press conference the next day. The document had been written by ex-MI6 employee Christopher Steele, now a private security consultant.

Here is a look at how the Trump Jr. emails and the Steele documents line up:

Donald Jr. drama gets dirtier with link to the Russian hooker dossier

Dirty Tricks are as common in politics as sleazy pols, but the latest Trump mess has escalated into the skanky "ho" of dirty tricks.

And how apropos is that — considering that all these Russian dirty tricks began with a report about Trump and peeing hookers in a Moscow hotel suite?

It has since grown into a massive tumor fed by lies and daily revelations of things too weird to imagine including secret meetings between Trump’s top campaign people, a former Russian agent, a sleazy promoter and a half-baked Russian lawyer.

Worse, that Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, with whom Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and campaign manager Paul Manafort were so eager and happy to meet with has, yes, links to the firm that produced the disgusting and unproven dossier about Trump and Russian hookers in the first place.

So don’t be shocked if it turns out that Hookergate is at the heart of it all.

Trump Goes on Attack as Russia Revelations Appear to Take Toll

...Still, there is evidence that the drumbeat of Russia revelations is taking a toll on the president. A poll published Sunday showed that Mr. Trump’s approval ratings have eroded further in recent weeks, dropping to a level never before seen for a president during his first six months in office.

The Washington Post-ABC News poll said the president’s overall approval rating was 36 percent, down from 42 percent in April. His disapproval rating rose to 58 percent, and 48 percent of those polled said they “disapprove strongly” of his performance, citing a loss of American leadership abroad and the Republican health care bill, which remains bottled up in the Senate.

Soviet Veteran Who Met With Trump Jr. Is a Master of the Dark Arts

Rinat Akhmetshin, the Russian-American lobbyist who met with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower in June 2016, had one consistent message for the journalists who met him over the years at the luxury hotels where he stayed in Moscow, London and Paris, or at his home on a leafy street in Washington: Never use email to convey information that needed to be kept secret.

While not, he insisted, an expert in the technical aspects of hacking nor, a spy, Mr. Akhmetshin talked openly about how he had worked with a counterintelligence unit while serving with the Red Army after its 1979 invasion of Afghanistan and how easy it was to find tech-savvy professionals ready and able to plunder just about any email account.

A journalist who visited his home was given a thumb drive containing emails that had apparently been stolen by hackers working for one of his clients.

On another occasion, at a meeting with a New York Times reporter at the Ararat Park Hyatt hotel in Moscow, Mr. Akhmetshin, by then an American citizen, informed the journalist he had recently been reading one of his emails: a note sent by the reporter to a Russian-American defense lawyer who had once worked for Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the anti-Kremlin oligarch.

In that instance, the reporter’s email had become public as part of a lawsuit. But the episode suggests Mr. Akhmetshin’s professional focus in the decades since he immigrated to the United States — and the experience that he brought to a meeting last June in New York with President Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and the then-head of the Trump presidential campaign, Paul J. Manafort.

The meeting was arranged on the claim that a Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, would provide dirt on Hillary Clinton, though in the end, Mr. Trump and his son have insisted, neither Mr. Akhmetshin nor Ms. Veselnitskaya provided anything of value.

But Mr. Akhmetshin, a gregarious, fast-talking man with a sharp sense of humor, was a skilled practitioner in the muscular Russian version of what in American politics is known as opposition research. From his base in Washington, Mr. Akhmetshin has been hired by an ever-changing roster of clients, often Russians, to burnish their image and blacken those of their rivals. Some clients were close to the Kremlin. Others were its bitter foes.

Mr. Akhmetshin often warned his friends and contacts: “Nothing is secure.” It was a conviction that emerged from the chaotic and often violent corporate battles that convulsed Russia in the 1990s, when “chyorny P.R.” or “black public relations” based on stolen or fabricated documents became a powerful weapon for businessmen seeking to damage their rivals without resorting to physical threats, another frequently used tool.

The practice was rooted in the Soviet techniques of “kompromat,” the collection of compromising information by the K.G.B. against foes of the Communist Party, but reached its full flowering after the 1991 collapse of Communism and the privatization of the dark arts formerly dominated by the K.G.B.

Instead of simply examining old media reports, court records and other public documents to try to dig up dirt or embarrassing gossip, Russian-style “chyorny P.R.” has often focused on pilfering private information through hacking and physical intrusion into offices and filing cabinets.

In his own investigations over the years, Mr. Akhmetshin has acquired a reputation for obtaining email records, information from spyware and other data that appeared to be drawn from Russian hackers.

    He has denied that,

A total of 48 percent of respondents said they "disapprove strongly" of the president's performance in office -- a low threshold never reached by ex-presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, both Democrats, and only reached once by George W. Bush, during his second term.

And 48 percent also see American global leadership weakening since Trump entered the White House, while 27 percent said it is stronger.

Most respondents (66 percent) said they do not or only somewhat trust Trump in negotiating with foreign leaders, especially with Russian President Vladimir Putin (also 66 percent). Of those, 48 percent said they do not trust Trump "at all" in negotiations with Putin."

And of course Trump denies it.

"President Trump reacted to a new poll that shows his approval rating has slipped to 36 percent — the lowest of any president at six months into his presidency.

According to an ABC News/Washington Post survey released Sunday, Trump’s approval rating is down 6 points since his 100-day mark, with 58 percent now disapproving of his job as commander in chief.

The president dismissed his dismal approval rating in a tweet.

“The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!” Trump tweeted."

Gee, Donnie. You sure you don't mean "innaccurate"?
