Trumpcare crashes and burns after two more Republican Senators refuse to support it. Update!

Courtesy of Politico:

President Donald Trump's top legislative priority was dealt a potentially fatal blow Monday night as two more Republican senators announced their opposition to the party's health care overhaul.

Trump quickly called on Republicans to simply repeal Obamacare and begin work on a new health care plan, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced he would try to do so.

“Regretfully, it is now apparent that the effort to repeal and immediately replace the failure of Obamacare will not be successful," McConnell said.

However that setback is not stopping Yertle the Turtle from suggesting that the Republicans could still bring up a bill they voted on back in 2015 to repeal Obamacare.

There is only one problem:

GOP lawmakers have voiced severe doubts that such a plan can win the 50 votes necessary this year given the uncertainty it would throw onto insurance markets. The 2015 vote was viewed as mostly symbolic at the time given Obama’s certain veto.

Yet McConnell seems damned and determined to take health care away from millions of Americans and to get the Republican Senators on record as supporting it.

And Donald Trump is just as reckless with the lives of his constituents.

The country is being run by sociopaths.

Update: It appears the attempt to repeal and NOT replace Obamacare is dead in the water as well

Well at least there are a few non-sociopaths out there.

Trump and McConnell need to be - - - - God, but I'd love to put my thoughts in print here! They are truly deplorable human beings and I detest them both! Evil, evil men! They could care less for Americans - especially those that elected them to office!

Trump talked about Democratic obstruction! What about the obstruction the Republicans caused for the entire two terms of President Obama!

Republicans suck - every damn one of them - especially those currently in the U.S. Congress and in Trump's admin. They have black souls!

Obamacare Raised the Expectations of a Nation That Now Doesn’t Want to Go Back

Republicans are trapped because Obamacare, for all of its lack of perfection, actually achieved the overarching goal of getting more Americans covered and forcing insurance companies to actually cover the things they promised they would cover.

...Republicans said they had a better way. They didn’t.

They tried to pass deathcare as healthcare multiple times. It failed.

Those who vote yes to repeal Obamacare when they just failed to replace it with anything do not deserve to be in office. People expect more, now. They want to live. They want healthcare for their sick kid and help with a nursing home for their elderly family members. They want people with disabilities to be able to get the help they need.

Americans now feel healthcare is a right.

Obamacare did that. This is Obamacare’s real legacy, and Republicans can never destroy it.

Plus, Republicans have done detrimental things to the Affordable Care Act...they are the ones that actually damaged the law, not President Obama, et al!

I want to hear what President Obama is doing behind the scenes. So wish he'd come out publically and calm many of us throughout the country.

If only he could have served a third term legally! Miss him so much and proud to say that I voted for him for both terms.

I'm starting to run across Republicans who said "they only voted for Trump because They couldn't vote for Hillary" I call horseshit on them. I remember talking to them before the election, and they were enthusiastically onboard the Trump train. They are trying to spin it that they never liked Trump. Makes me laugh. I am proud I didn't vote for Trump, and am pleased to tell my Republican friends I didn't vote for him

I'm tired of Republicans making Hillary Clinton the bad guy in all of this! They need to look ONLY at themselves and Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton would have made a far better POTUS than the idiot Trump! Now we have nothing but a fucking mess and Republicans showing themselves to be anti America and Americans! May they all rot in Hell when they leave this earth! They act like Satan himself!

"As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together...."
    -President Trump

Instead of Trump saying okay the Republican Party TrumpCare failed to get even the Republicans to agree and pass it, something must be wrong with it so let's fix it and this time let's include the Democrat Party input or fix ObamaCare.

No that motherfucking daughter-loving sore loser goes to his room, crosses his arms and says I'm not going to be the people's president and bring everybody together, I'll do nothing to see how we can fix ObamaCare. I'll wait until it fails and watch everybody come running to me.

I hope everyone comes running after Trump at that point and not with the intention of helping him save himself. Republicans have tried to destroy the ACA ever since it was passed; if they succeed in destroying it, they sure won't be interested in replacing it with something that helps more people get better access to healthcare.

Senate’s New Plan To Repeal But Not Replace Obamacare Is Dead
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell proposed a full repeal after the GOP health care bill died Monday.

She came out publically AFTER the fact, not before with the other Republicans that announced they were against it! Watch her every move and word...she's NOT on Alaskan's side, she is on the side of Trump and McConnell. Plus, she has made sure she is pictured with each of them - by their sides, if you can believe that.

I don't trust her as far as I can throw her! She needs NOT to be reelected to Congress IF she runs again! Same should go for Sullivan of Ohio that REALLY doesn't represent Alaska!

Alaska needs new, younger blood in D.C. vs these two idiots!

Funny how they absolutely refuse to work this thing out with the Democrats. Also, funny how they seem to overlook that Trump and Son may have committed treason. There's a lot of funny in the Republican party that are anything really fun loving, and fun laughing. They are tunnel visioned at best. It's like they need to fix themselves before they fix anything else. It's like a drug addict trying to help another drug addict abstain from drugs. In this case the one percent drug.
And don't even get me started today on that asswipe we have for a president.

  17. They don't have the votes to do a straight repeal.

What they'll do now is starve the ACA by denying funding. It's what they did to education. They borrowed money from Social Security and never paid it back, then claim its failing too. They changed the rules for pensions to make them look like they're failing.

Face it. The Death Party hates people. All they want is to take money and not only fail to provide anything, but make it as difficult as possible to get it on your own. Oh, and let's not forget destroy this country, ignore the will of the people ( IE votes) and make our lives as miserable as they possibly can.

And still the Deplorable morons keep voting for them.

Republicans are not American! They are ALL acting like Satan himself! Purely evil folks. They lie, cheat and steal from Americans.

I want to see them ALL (Congress especially) charged (treason), taken to trial and found guilty. Their punishment could be either serving the rest of their lives in jail or execution in some manner.

They can begin with Trump - Pence - O'Connell - Ryan - Cheney, etc. They are not representing the majority of us!

I'm so worried for our country as to each of us, immigrants, those that are not white, the uneducated and the poor amongst us.

We need to take care of each other and not follow the lead of the assholes in D.C. Protect one another and make sure you vote (next election) to move Republicans out of office on the national, state and local levels. It's more important now than it has ever been.
