Day after white supremacist runs down and kills female protester Donald Trump retweets cartoon of train running over CNN reporter.

Courtesy of TPM:

President Donald Trump retweeted a cartoon showing a metaphorical “Trump Train” ramming a cartoon person topped with a CNN logo on Tuesday morning.

The cartoon was as an ill-timed jab at the news network just three days after a woman was killed after a car barreled into counter-protesters at a white supremacists rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

But before everybody gets all bent out of shape, you should know there's an excuse:

An unnamed White House official later told NBC’s Kristen Welker that Trump had “inadvertently posted” the graphic, and that it was “immediately deleted” once noticed.

I didn't say it was a GOOD excuse.

So Donald Trump tweets and retweets terrible, incendiary things while his staff, who are too ashamed to use their real names, tries to cover for him with the press.

Who are often the subject of his tweets and retweets.

That about right?

Everyday I think he can't go lower or get crazier and he does. I was reading about his press conference today at Trump Tower. OMG He is claiming that both sides are at fault again. That George Washington and Jefferson were slave holders too and were they going after them next. He accused that the press felt that way too. He accused the press of rewriting culture and history. It was horrifying. It was vile. I weep for this country. David Duke tweeted and thanked Trump for his statement.

All of these re-tweets, as well as his horrid original tweets and the way he behaved and spoke when running his campaign -- and his ridiculous re-election campaign as well -- show this man to be encouraging violence against anyone who disagrees with him on a constant basis. HE is why the worst of the worst Americans are so much more visible and violent now than in the past. HE has given them the OK to be that way. HE will never actually condemn them because he agrees with them. And, he can't hide it any longer.

It can no longer be denied that he is sick and totally unqualified for the job of president of the entire country. He only cares about his supporters -- even though only a minority still way too many people. He needs to be thrown out of his job. Congress has to do this and we all have to hope it is not already too late for our country.

Fox News once published an article advocating that cars drive into liberal protesters attempting to block traffic.

And only after a woman was killed Saturday in Charlottesville, Va.—when a car allegedly driven by white-supremacist activist James Alex Fields plowed through a crowd of anti-racism demonstrators—did Fox decided to delete it.

On January 29, 2017, the cable outlet’s unabashedly conservative opinion site Fox Nation published an article titled, “Here’s A Reel Of Cars Plowing Through Protesters Trying To Block The Road.”

“Here’s a compilation of liberal protesters getting pushed out of the way by cars and trucks,” wrote the article’s author. “Study the technique; it may prove useful in the next four years.”

“I'm sorta glad that them people got hit and I'm glad that girl died,” Moore said in a voicemail to WBTV. “They were a bunch of Communists out there protesting against somebody’s freedom of speech, so it doesn't bother me that they got hurt at all.”

“I think we're going to see more stuff like this happening at white nationalist events,” Moore warned.

The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is based in Pelham. Members of the group were in Charlottesville as a part of the demonstration.

“We were out there and I seen a lot of Communist flags and anti-fascist and we're going to see more stuff like this,” Moore said. “White people are getting fed up with the double standard setup in America today by the controlled press.

“We should have been able to go out there and have our protest and it should have been peaceful but it's the anti-fascist and the communists...continuing to try and stop us,” he continued. “So I think there will be more violence like this in the future to come.”

The group praises Fields in a recorded message that plays when you call the group’s headquarters.

“Nothing makes us more proud at the KKK than we see white patriots such as James Fields Jr, age 20, taking his car and running over nine communist anti-fascist, killing one (expletive)-lover named Heather Heyer,” the recorded message says. “James Fields hail victory. It’s men like you that have made the great white race strong and will be strong again.”

Pregnant beer belly lapping over the no longer visible confederate belt buckle, the faded amateur jail tattoos with the misspelled words. Greasy hair. Dirty jeans and dirty rebel t-shirt with the holes worn so think you can read the tattoos through it. The only parts of his body that are clean are the tips of his fingers, nails worn down to the quick from constant chewing. In January, Fox News Posted a Video of Cars Mowing Down Protesters That Urged Viewers to “Study the Technique”

What follows is one of the more disgusting and prominent examples of the trend: a 90-second video published by the Daily Caller, the conservative site founded by Tucker Carlson. The video, which the Daily Caller’s Mike Raust published on Jan. 28—the day that Donald Trump’s travel ban brought thousands of demonstrators to international airports—is set to a folksy cover of the 2001 Ludacris hit “Move Bitch."

In the text accompanying the video, Raust advised:

Here’s a compilation of liberal protesters getting pushed out of the way by cars and trucks. Study the technique; it may prove useful in the next four years.

Caution: This video contains graphic footage of people being run over by cars.

This 2016 speech by Hillary Clinton warning about Trump and white supremacists has gone viral

    Excerpts from the speech:

"From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia. He is taking hate groups mainstream and helping a radical fringe take over the Republican party. His disregard for the values that make our country great is profoundly dangerous.

"A man with a long history of racial discrimination, who traffics in dark conspiracy theories drawn from the pages of supermarket tabloids and the far, dark reaches of the internet, should never run our government or command our military.

"When asked in a nationally televised interview whether he would disavow the support of David Duke, a former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, Trump wouldn't do it. Only later, again under mounting pressure, did he backtrack.

"So no one should have any illusions about what's really going on here. The names may have changed. Racists now call themselves "racialists." White supremacists now call themselves "white nationalists." The paranoid fringe now calls itself "alt-right." But the hate burns just as bright.

"And this isn't just about one election. It's about who we are as a nation. It's about the kind of example we want to set for our children and grandchildren.

"Next time you see Trump rant on television, think about all the children listening across America. Kids hear a lot more than we think."

Illinois Senate passes measure for neo-Nazis to be classed as terrorist groups

'It is vital that we stand in total opposition to the hatred, bigotry and violence displayed by the white nationalist and neo-Nazi groups in Charlottesville this past weekend,' says senator.

...Richard Spencer, who heads up the white nationalist National Policy Institute, said he had “the will to win” in the battle not to pull down the statue of a Confederate General, Robert E Lee from a local park – the initial reason for the rally.

“We’re going to be back here and we’re going to humiliate all of these people who opposed us,” he told the Daily Mail. “We’ll be back here 100 times if necessary. I always win. Because I have the will to win, I keep going until I win.”

‘I can’t believe it just happened’: Fox News host on the verge of tears over Trump’s ‘disgusting’ presser

President Donald Trump’s comments that “there’s blame on both sides” in the deadly violence at Saturday’s “Unite the Right” rally were so shocking, even Fox News hosts are freaking out about it.

“It’s honestly crazy for me to have to comment on this right now,” host Kat Timpf said on “The Specialists” Tuesday. “I’m still in the phase where I’m wondering if it was actually real life.”

Timpf was dumbfounded by Trump’s assertion that leftist counterprotesters were to blame for the attack on their numbers by an Alex Fields, Jr., an avowed neo-Nazi who killed one woman and maimed dozens of others when he drove his car into a crowd.

“It was one of the biggest messes I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe it just happened,” Timpf said.

She went on to say that she was surprised Trump didn’t blame the attack on Islamic terrorism.

“It shouldn’t be some kind of bold statement to say ‘yes, a gathering full of white supremacist Nazis doesn’t have good people in it,'” Timpf said, referencing Trump’s comments where he said there were “very fine people on both sides too.”

That it’s “controversial” to call Nazis bad people, Timpf said, made her want to laugh and cry and equal measure.

“I don’t know if I should just laugh — I have too much eye makeup on to start crying right now,” she concluded.

Watch the young Fox News host lose it over Trump’s “both sides” comments below.

    1. And it's okay according to Godwin. He basically says if after careful thought and consideration the shoe fits, call a nazi a nazi.

      http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/godwins-law-creator-supports-calling-racist-demonstrators-nazis_us_59919eb5e4b0909642986356

"By all means, compare these shitheads to Nazis. Again and again. I'm with you."

"In June, Godwin assured a journalist who had insinuated that prominent white nationalist Richard Spencer was a Nazi that his law did not preclude the comparison. Time magazine interviewed him following the exchange, and he suggested, “If you think the comparison is valid, and you’ve given it some thought, do it ... We have to keep the magnitude of those events in mind, and not be glib.”"

"“The best way to prevent future holocausts, I believe, is not to forbear from Holocaust comparisons,” he wrote in The Washington Post in 2015, amid the rise of Trump. “[I]nstead, it’s to make sure that those comparisons are meaningful and substantive.” Though some have used Godwin’s law to push back on comparisons between white nationalists and Nazis, the law was originally intended to preserve the strength of those Nazi comparisons for times when they are genuinely merited ― for example, when an “alt-right” gathering openly associates itself with Nazi ideology and insignia. "

If Godwin is calling them Nazis, then it's OK for the rest of us too.

Congressional Republicans Just Got Hit With Criminal Complaint For Russian-Linked Campaign Donations

"I am deeply alarmed by the hateful and dangerous nature of the event, its timing so soon after the horrors in Charlottesville, and the serious questions over whether the National Park Service is at all equipped to ensure public safety during a white supremacist rally," said Pelosi, D-Calif., who represents San Francisco. "The NPS should reevaluate its decision and its capacity to protect the public during such a toxic rally."

A group called Patriot Prayer has scheduled a free speech rally on Aug. 26 at San Francisco's Crissy Field. The National Park Service has issued a permit for the event, but Pelosi wants them to revoke it.

"We must wonder, where is the decision to permit a white supremacist rally in a national park being made?" Pelosi said in the statement. "At the National Park Service? In the Department of the Interior? Or under guidance from the White House? Perhaps those making the decision did not know that Crissy Field is a place where families gather, where tourists visit, and the community comes together. Free speech does not grant the right to yell fire in a crowded theater, incite violence or endanger the public in any venue."

A new generation of white supremacists is emerging — and they are 'very good at organizing'

... These organizations exhibited unprecedented organization and tactical savvy. Hundreds of racist activists converged on a park on Friday night, striding through the darkness in groups of five to 20 people. A handful of leaders with headsets and handheld radios gave orders as a pickup truck full of torches pulled up nearby. Within minutes, their numbers had swelled well into the hundreds. They quickly and efficiently formed a lengthy procession and begun marching, torches alight, through the campus of the University of Virginia.

Despite intense interest from the media, police and local anti-racists, the white supremacists kept the location of their intimidating nighttime march secret until the last moment.

The next day, the far-right forces — likely numbering between 1,000 and 1,500 — marched to Emancipation Park. Once again, they arrived in small blocs under military-style command. The racist groups were at least as organized and disciplined as the police, who appeared to have no clear plan for what to do when the violence escalated. The racist groups stood their ground at the park and were not dislodged for many hours.

For many of them, this will be seen as victory. “Every rally we’re going to be more organized, we’re going to have more people, and it’s going to be harder and harder for them to shut us down,” said a spokesman for Vanguard America, a fascist group, who gave his name as “Thomas.” “White people are pretty good at getting organized.”

"No place for racial hatred or extremism in @USMC. Our core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment frame the way Marines live and act."

    "Oohrah"
is a battle cry common in the United States Marine Corps since the mid-20th century. The term means "charge." It is comparable to hooah in the US Army and the US Air Force, and hooyah in the US Navy and US Coast Guard. It is most commonly used to respond to a verbal greeting or as an expression of motivation." NOW!

“What Donald Trump said today is not worthy of the title Commander in Chief. Not when our military, every day, strives to fight against everything white supremacists and Nazis stand for. It strives to promote equality for the African Americans, Latinos, Jews, LGBT Americans and more, who serve in uniform, that Nazis and white supremacists want to see beaten down, if not exterminated.”

White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon will most likely be leaving the White House by the end of the week, according to a West Wing source. There’s been heavy anticipation that President Donald Trump’s chief strategist will be fired from his duties due to suspicions that he’s behind possible leaks getting out. A new report suggests that Bannon will be removed from Trump’s inner circle within a matter of days.

A “well-placed source” from the West Wing tells CBS News that Steve Bannon could exit the White House by Friday.

Read the White House's Talking Points After Trump's Press Conference

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/article/2009312

...The Trump talking points are full of lies, but in order to be able to combat the falsehoods that the White House is about to try to inject into the media, I would strongly encourage everyone to read these statements, know the facts, and be ready to stop these lies dead in their tracks.

Trump has been the opposite of a voice for calm. He has continually defended the actions of white supremacists and Nazis. The statements about the counter-protesters being armed or attacking the racists are false. Trump knew about the possibility of white supremacist violence in May, and he did nothing.

Donald Trump is lying and it is up to every single American to make sure that his lies get stopped dead in their tracks.

Commandant of the Marine Corps Breaks With Trump And Denounces His Support For Racism

...One gets the sense that Trump’s press conference was a breaking point for the country. Trump has finally crossed a line that only his most diehard supporters will follow him on. The Marines are telling the Commander in Chief that there is no place in their organization for his racist beliefs.

Trump has pushed and pushed and pushed. Finally, America is coming together to push back. If Trump wants to be a racist, he can resign from office, because the White House is no home for a person who holds such ugly views.

Trump has gotten away with too much since he ran for president, but finally, America is coming together to fight back.
