I'll bet that most of you knew who I was talking about in that headline without even having to look at the actual post.
THAT is because we all realize the guy in the White House is universally seen as a clown and that every day he spends in office is damaging our credibility as a country.
A very DANGEROUS clown!
ReplyDeleteWell by all means get rid of him then! Enough talk!
Delete@11:50
DeleteWell, have you any REASONABLE and LEGAL means by which one person can achieve that goal? No violence. No rioting.
And protests take time to work their magic.
Otherwise, we are working on getting his ass out. We have to convince Congress first or have him fit the requirements for the 25th amendment, then convince Pence to use it. And THAT ain't gonna happen for a while yet - if ever.
Saying things like "Enough talk" won't accomplish a damned thing. Concrete legal ideas would be accepted, as I said.
......and the more he's criticized, the bigger douche he becomes!
ReplyDeleteThis is so true,
ReplyDeleteI have coworkers who they or their parents immigrated here. They continue to ask "what has happened to this country?" They report relatives in their home countries are dismayed to afraid to come here now.
ReplyDeleteIt is total garbage that immigrants, anyone can cross our borders and get for free allegedly taking away from white Americans. Donald Trump reinforced lies people yell themselves to lat false guilt and blame onto others while idle to change or even hold delusions their God will do all for them.
There is certainly a shift in what values and place the United States has held in the world and loss of being a beacon of hope, opportunity to improve lives and freedom from oppression and tyranny. These are values and strengths that are now deemed worthless in exchange for enormous wealth for few, physical power of violence and destructive force.
Trump!!!!? Puts rubber over your head!!! You prick!!!!l

DeletePresident Trump has retweeted a cartoon of a train bearing the Trump logo killing a CNN reporter, just days after a protester at a white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, was fatally run down by a driver who participated in that rally. The cartoon reads “Fake news can’t stop the Trump train.”

Smith said that he was inspired to start outing racists because he was struck by how unafraid they were to show their faces publicly even as they espoused an openly racist ideology.
ReplyDelete“These people aren’t afraid anymore,” he said. “They’re not hiding behind their hoods like they did before the civil rights era. They are out and proud. I think if they are so proud of their beliefs and proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with neo-Nazis and KKK members and white supremacists of all stripes, then I think their communities need to know who they are.”

You reap what you sow and it's about time these assholes were reduced to gleaning the fields.
All of this unfolded while Trump reluctantly, belatedly, and petulantly read prepared comments off a teleprompter about how “racism is evil.” But Trump’s actions yesterday spoke louder than his words.
ReplyDeletehttp://shareblue.com/trump-spews-three-outright-racist-attacks-on-day-he-finally-condemns-racism/
If there was any doubt about just how reluctant Trump was to condemn the very groups that support him, he certainly erased it with his tweet. Trump’s attack on the media as “truly bad people” is far more harsh than anything he has said about the groups that gathered in Charlottesville to defend and promote white supremacy.

Trump lashes out at media after being forced to condemn Nazis
Donald Trump did not want to condemn the white supremacist terrorists who struck in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was dragged, kicking and screaming, to make a perfunctory statement tepidly doing so nearly 72 hours after the killing of Heather Heyer.

"It is reported that Steve Bannon consulted with the president multiple times over the weekend amidst the president struggling to respond to the rally. Bannon allegedly advised the president not to condemn the far-right activists too harshly, as he may antagonize a “small but energetic” group of his fiercest supporters."

Colbert said, “It’s not like Trump is a shrinking violet. He’s known for criticizing things. If only the President was as mad about neo-Nazis murdering people in the streets as he’s been about Hillary Clinton, The New York Times, CNN, Joe Scarborough, Kristen Stewart, the cast of Hamilton, Diet Coke, Nordstrom not selling his daughter’s clothes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the mayor of London Sadiq Khan, me, the state of New Hampshire, Gold Star families Penn Jillette’s Las Vegas show, the movie Django Unchained, Meryl Streep, and lady Ghostbusters.”
ReplyDeleteStephen Colbert nailed it. The American people realize that they have a president who gets more bent out of shape over his media coverage on CNN, or what Joe Scarborough said about him than he does about neo-Nazis mowing people down in the streets of an American city.
The President’s reaction to Charlottesville is one of those defining moments that will be remembered by history. Trump had a chance to step up and lead, but he used his moment to defend racism while showing that what The New York Times writes is more important to him than innocent Americans dying on the streets at the hands of violent racists.

Briefly, the units were sold as condos with a panoply of exorbitant monthly fees; when the owners weren’t in the units, which they were required to vacate 245 days of the year , they were rented as hotel rooms, with the rental income used to offset the fees. Low room occupancy rates—much lower than advertised to prospective investors—meant the units didn’t just fail to generate revenue, they cost the owners a bundle."

DeleteThe Department of Justice has requested information on visitors to a website used to organize protests against President Trump, the Los Angeles-based Dreamhost said in a blog post published on Monday.
ReplyDeleteDreamhost, a web hosting provider, said that it has been working with the Department of Justice for several months on the request, which believes goes too far under the Constitution.
DreamHost claimed that the complying with the request from the Justice Department would amount to handing over roughly 1.3 million visitor IP addresses to the government, in addition to contact information, email content and photos of thousands of visitors to the website, which was involved in organizing protests against Trump on Inauguration Day.
“That information could be used to identify any individuals who used this site to exercise and express political speech protected under the Constitution’s First Amendment,” DreamHost wrote in the blog post on Monday. “That should be enough to set alarm bells off in anyone’s mind.”
When contacted, the Justice Department directed The Hill to the U.S. attorney's office in D.C. The U.S. attorney's office declined to comment but provided the filings related to the case.
The company is currently challenging the request. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Friday in Washington.
