Special Counsel Robert Mueller adds prosecutor who specializes in illegal foreign bribery to his team.

Courtesy of Reuters:

A former U.S. Justice Department official has become the latest lawyer to join special counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election, a spokesman for the team confirmed.

Greg Andres started on Tuesday, becoming the 16th lawyer on the team, said Josh Stueve, a spokesman for the special counsel.

Most recently a white-collar criminal defense lawyer with New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, Andres, 50, served at the Justice Department from 2010 to 2012. He was deputy assistant attorney general in the criminal division, where he oversaw the fraud unit and managed the program that targeted illegal foreign bribery.

Well now, isn't THAT interesting?

Seems to me that Special Counsel Mueller has a potential lead.

Popcorn anyone?

I know Greg Andres- he's a casual acquaintance. He's a very sharp guy. Drumpf should be very, very afraid!

🤣 It also stated that American voters say 54 to 26 percent that they are embarrassed rather than proud to have Trump as president.

More voters than ever say they are dissatisfied with President Donald Trump's performance in office, according to new poll by Quinnipiac University.

The findings mark Trump's lowest approval rating and highest disapproval rating since he was inaugurated, Quinnipiac said on Wednesday. Just 33 percent of American voters said they approved of Trump's job in office, while 61 percent said they disapproved.

  3. So far I haven't seen a list of Mueller's assembled lawyers and their specialties. I hope there is light at the end of the tunnel...and that since we are paying for this, we will be privy to the conclusions.
