The guy that was supposed to find and promote positive news about Donald Trump has quit. Gee, I wonder why?

Andy Hemming
Courtesy of HuffPo:

Politico reported Thursday that Andy Hemming resigned from his position as the White House communications team’s director of rapid response on Monday.

The 31-year-old former Republican National Committee staffer, who was profiled by Politico’s Annie Karni this month, was responsible for finding positive mainstream media news stories about the Trump administration and recirculating those reports to key reporters and talking heads. Hemming’s goal was to ultimately create more mainstream coverage about positive moments for the Trump administration on the very networks the president routinely bashes and refers to as “fake news,” according to Karni’s piece.

Every presidential administration has staffers dedicated to monitoring the press and pushing out stories related to favorable moments. But Trump’s relationship with the press and responses to news coverage is unprecedented. For instance, Vice News reported this month that the president receives a folder filled with positive news about himself twice a day ― a report previous presidents apparently did not receive.

Hemming’s role in the administration was a bizarre one, considering his boss regularly picks public feuds with journalists and mainstream news outlets he was required to target with positive stories.

They're spinning this to suggest that Hemming's departure was a mutual decision with the White House, but I think we can all surmise that the guy probably left in frustration at how freaking hard his job was trying to find any positive stories about the shitgibbon.

Literally every time that Trump does anything that might be an opportunity for some positive media coverage, he almost immediately follows it up with something incredibly negative that then become the bigger story.

Doing a job like this would absolutely put your mental health at risk.

So i think this Hemming guy is making the smart decisions to bail before his mind snaps and he starts wandering the halls of the White House babbling to himself.

Besides, that's Donald Trump's job.

Have you noticed that people who call others "unhappy" are jealous because they're are the ones who are deeply unhappy and the people called unhappy are blissful.

We're all born with a conscience. How you conduct yourself accordingly speaks volumes to your character. Kudos to this young man; some people never get there.

Phooey -- he should never have taken the job in the first place. An enabler who too late quit, or was fired?

I'm distressed that we, the taxpayers, were paying him $89,000. a year. I'm relieved that we only got stiffed into paying 8 months of that.

This has little to do with conscience. Trump's train has demonstrated a tendency to not pay employees. With the Secret Service cracking, even a moron would realize this job can't pay the rent.

    "Eroding Defenses...Tic toc tick tock...

    http://www.rawstory.com/2017/08/follow-the-money-they-say-it-was-about-russian-orphans-theyre-lying/

Trump’s latest cover-up ended on July 31, 2017, when The Washington Post’s headline proclaimed: “Trump dictated son’s misleading statement on meeting with Russian lawyer.” Even press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders admitted that Trump “weighed in” on Don Jr.’s statement before it went out.

The revelation was just another of the presidential lies permeating the Trump-Russia story. For months, Trump and his minions insisted that there had been no contact with Russians during the campaign. They were lying."
"Trump tried a third defense: Anyone would have taken the June 9 meeting. “It’s called opposition research,” Trump said. That defense quickly became counterproductive because accepting help from a foreign adversary is illegal."
"“believe me,” “trust me” assertions from a $erial liar" 'T'he

Hemmings' whole career has been spent being a GOP operative in their cushy world of make-believe. I suggest that he get a job in the real world so he can learn what American lives are all about.
