The RNC tells staff not to destroy any records that might be needed to put Donald Trump in jail. (Well, essentially.)

I'm sorry, what documents are we talking about here?
Courtesy of Buzzfeed:

Republican National Committee employees have been asked to preserve all documents related to last year’s presidential campaign — a step RNC lawyers describe as precautionary, but necessary, as investigations continue into Russia’s meddling in the election.

“Given the important role that the RNC plays in national elections and the potentially expansive scope of the inquiries and investigations, it is possible that we will be contacted with requests for information,” reads a July 28 memo to staff from the RNC counsel’s office.

"Therefore, we must preserve all documents potentially relevant to these matters until they are resolved or until we are informed by all necessary parties that preservation is no longer necessary."

BuzzFeed News obtained a copy of the memo, which orders employees not to “delete, destroy, modify, or remove from your paper files, laptop computer, desktop computer, tablet, mobile device, e-mail, or any storage system or device, any documents, records, or other materials that relate to the 2016 presidential election or that may relate to any investigation concerning the election.” An RNC source confirmed the memo’s authenticity Monday morning.

The memo went on to say that the RNC had not yet been contacted (Really?) but that they needed to prepare for that possibility by preserving potentially relevant materials.

So I have a couple of thoughts.

My first one was, well good for the RNC for being so responsible.

Then I had a second thought that since these were Republicans we were talking about perhaps memos like this were actually written as a warning to shred everything immediately couched in some kind of conservative opposite speak.

That was followed by my third thought which was that perhaps the RNC knew they had documents that could be beneficial to the investigation and this memo was their way of getting the investigator's attention and letting them know to it.

After all the Donald Trump presidency is not only a cancer on the colon of this country, he is also a significant danger to the survival of the Republican party.

Well whatever the reason, I think the Robert Mueller and his staff may want to make a visit to the RNC post haste. Before the Trump supporters get a chance to burn the place down.

Hey all related documents etc must be kept forever because this is history and it is thee most IMPORTANT HISTORY of our lifetime. It is no small potatoe to hack, invade and infiltrate America. Fortunately it has failed. Amendments must be made to prevent this outrageous ignorant attempt to occur again. The underworld does not represent America. Liars crooks and lousy actors do not represent America. Lousy citizen united does own America. Global dictators do not own the world. American citizens must demand law and order and those involved punished for this crime.

We can only take the memo at face value. The truth comes out eventually even if not the whole truth. I suspect the leaks happen because an incompetent man was elected who chose his incompetent family to help him govern the country and rule as if the scope is as small as an episode of The Apprentice.

I have a sense that what transpires in the White House is far worse than what gets revealed. Last week they were behind Scaramucci then he is out yesterday. I will not be surprised if the general resigns from his chief of staff position.

Besides all the legal issues and cyber crime evidence. There will be the hundreds of opinions and books. And then the dirty nasty movie of sleazy characters attempting to pull off a huge crime.

Accounted for..." It was a massive attack on America but the Russian hacks appeared to have a singular goal—elect Donald J. Trump as president of the United States."
"The Plot to Hack America is the "T"hrilling TRUE story of how Putin’s spy agency, run by the Russian billionaire class, used the promise of power and influence to cultivate Trump as well as his closest aides, the Kremlin Crew, to become unwitting assets of the Russian government. The goal? To put an end to 240 years of free and fair American democratic elections."

Reince Priebus may have had a back up plan, after all he was in the White House to try and keep some kind of order and RNC control, now that is not an option it may be time for the RNC to save itself - Priebus can be all nice on the outside in public, but perhaps hea nd his buddies at RNC have the paper trail leading right up to trump - or at least enough bread crumbs to lead to concrete proof of corruption, etc.

"That was followed by my third thought which was that perhaps the RNC knew they had documents that could be beneficial to the investigation"

    Or they already destroy them.

They called Donald a man without a party. Geez, the honeymoon didn't last too long.
Guess, Donald thought he could wed them and still have his thing for Putin.
Putin is acting like the jilted lover. That Donald is such a slut. Now he's playing to his Nazi base. That's a treacherous lover if every there was one.
Just hope it isn't too late to get this dictator out of the White House. Oh, America, what were you thinking?

Nice reference back to wasilla records!

Bible Barbie burned her church records room. The Devil made her do it. ;)

  9. Oh, I think all of that is already gone. The minute the FBI started investigating all documents were shredded and all e-mails deleted and devices thoroughly wiped.

If they find anything, it won't be at the RNC.

    They've been through this before.
