The "Trump Effect" is negatively affecting employee morale and workplace cohesion, while also hurting productivity in corporate America.

Courtesy of NBC News:

Donald Trump’s abrasive style isn’t just making it hard to run the White House — it’s handicapping corporate America, as well.

HR and leadership experts say a “Trump effect” has made a new norm of bad behavior, from dropping f-bombs to fudging details on resumes to spreading false rumors about co-workers, all of which stifles teamwork, dampens morale, and hurts productivity.

“It violates all the norms and the niceties of how one should behave,” said Gary Namie, director and co-founder of the Workplace Bullying Institute. “What it’s exposing is the very, very dark side of our society.”

Career coaches report an increased willingness to engage in unethical behavior, like lying about past experience or performance in a job interview, or making a promise with no intention of keeping it.

“It’s allowing individuals who may be on the fence when it comes to a moral compass to engage in bad behavior. It allows them to justify that behavior, it gives them an excuse,” said Roy Cohen, a career counselor and executive coach. “We expect people to take the high ground… that’s where the reversal seems to be happening. Bad behavior is almost a badge of honor,” he said.

The acrimony is fracturing workplace cohesion. According to an April survey by the Workplace Bullying Institute, 46 percent of workers said their relationships with colleagues have deteriorated since the election last November.

Oh so it is not only the racists and xenophobes who came out of the woodwork during the campaign and after the election, now it is also sexists, liars, and vulgarians.

Well I'm certainly tired of all this winning, how about the rest of you?

I have read several reports of immigrants being told by perfect strangers, "you're going home soon" They are all here legally, many are American citizens. It has happened in settings where it never happened before such as the supermarket or gym. It has not happened to my (Vietnamese immigrant, American Citizen) husband--yet. But I have already prepared my response it it does. It will be "We'll be sure to save a seat on the plane for Melania since he is more American than she is. He has been a citizen for longer and her earned it. No billionaire sugar daddy bought it for him"

Trump’s FCC Makes Major Move To Put His Propaganda On Every American TV

...Sinclair actually made a deal with Trump to give him favorable coverage in order for this purchase to be approved. And it was a win-win deal — for everyone but consumers. Sinclair got to increase their stranglehold on American media, and in return, Trump gets to see his interests advanced on all of their stations.

Sinclair has been forcing the stations it already owned to air “must-run” segments of commentary by Boris Epshteyn, a Russia-born former Trump official. In July, Sinclair increased the number of Epshteyn commentaries it would require its stations to air from three per week to nine, and added “interviews” with pro-Trump politicos in Washington. These are centrally-produced conservative editorials that, among other things, call mainstream coverage of events “fake news” and put out scaremongering “terrorism alerts,” which managers at Sinclair-owned stations are required to work into their broadcast schedules.

Donald Trump just pissed off veterans.

Trump likes to claim that he loves the men and women who serve our country in the military, but on Monday morning, he proved otherwise by viciously attacking Senator Richard Blumenthal’s military record.

Blumenthal took to CNN on Monday morning to caution against obstructing the Russia investigation. Of course, thin-skinned Trump took offense and lashed out on Twitter.

It should be pointed out that Blumenthal misspoke about his service during the Vietnam War on a few occasions. He never claimed to be involved in any battles. He also never “cried like a little baby.”

But unlike Trump, Blumenthal actually did enlist with the Marine Corps Reserve and served for six years. He didn’t go to Vietnam but he did serve.

Donald Trump repeatedly dodged the draft and then received a medical deferment not long after being declared perfectly fit for service.

Next Trump will attack Dakota Meyer and his medal since Meyer lied to get the medal. Lied more to the man that wrote his 'hero' book with him.

Trump likes generals and top brass. Not so much the little guy unless they can give him good press.

He *never* was attractive to me, even when he was at his 'peak'. Always a puffy gasbag. Now he's a clown, a caricature of his former self, yet he probably still sees himself as some sort of Adonis when he looks in any reflective surface.

    3. Thank you, @Anon 10:04! He is utterly repulsive to me, a grotesque monstrosity who is revolting! When he makes those childish faces, I am perplexed why any decent woman would want his company. Who wants to listen to gibberish, boasting, or infantile insults? He in no way behaves as a adult who was born in a wealthy family.

The parents of one of my best friends served as the housekeeper and butler for an extremely wealthy man. He wasn't born rich, but he accumulated millions during his lifetime, enough that his offspring will never have to work. Behind closed doors, he was a miserly skinflint, a heavy drinker, a womanizer who cavorted with much younger women, and a potty mouth. However, publicly, he was an upright church goer, a staunch family man, a liberal giver to community events and causes, an avid supporter of the local public schools, and a highly principled gentleman. Sad to say, Dolt 45* lacks any ability to even pretend to be better than what he is. That's why it's futile to hope or expect he will pivot and start acting presidential. (Sorry, Van Jones, not happening and never will.)

Tangerine Trujillo wants so badly to be a tinpot dictator of a banana republic. We have our work cut out for us to ensure his wishes never become reality.

While I haven't quit being friends with people who voted for Trump, it has made me respect them less. I'll admit that when I first meet someone and find out they are Trump supporters, it does negatively affect how I see them. I probably won't become friends with them.

I totally agree - makes me look at friends a lot differently! These are folks I've had in my life for umpteen years too - makes me question my choices as to friends throughout my younger years. I'm in my later 70's now!

This whole things makes me feel awful! So detest Trump and actually have hate in my heart for him! I've never felt this way about someone - even my ex-husband!

Trump’s new chief of staff reportedly restored “order.” Nobody told the president.

Throughout the two weeks, multiple media outlets have heralded the new era of stability Kelly was expected to bring to the White House. Kelly, Trump’s original Department of Homeland Security secretary, was imposing “military discipline” on the White House, the New York Times said. “Kelly already bringing order to White House,” the Washington Examiner reported.

“Kelly, the new White House chief of staff, has taken control in dramatic fashion, and is already imposing unmistakable signs of order after just a few days on the job,” wrote Axios’s Mike Allen and Jonathan Swan. “Even POTUS appears to be trying to impress his four-star handler, picking up his game by acting sharper in meetings and even rattling off stats.”

Of course, perhaps Kelly will still manage to tame Trump’s Twitter fingers, or improve the internal discord rife within the executive branch. But the president’s rambling morning invective against Blumenthal — a member of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee — is probably not a great sign.

We analyzed 17 months of Fox & Friends transcripts. It’s far weirder than state-run media.

How the Fox morning show evolved into Donald Trump’s posse.

...We analyzed 17 months of Fox & Friends transcripts, which captures nearly a year before Trump was elected president and about six months after. (More on the methodology at the bottom of this piece.)

What we found is that Fox & Friends has a symbiotic relationship with Trump that is far weirder and more interesting than state media. Instead of talking for Trump, they are talking to him.

Understanding the Christian Broadcasting Network, the force behind the latest pro-Trump TV newscast

When the news broke earlier this week that several senior members of the Cabinet were holding weekly prayer meetings, few noticed the exclusive source behind the scoop: Jennifer Wishon of Faith Nation, a new Facebook Live news magazine — and arguable mouthpiece for Trump propaganda — from the Christian Broadcasting Network, or CBN.

While Faith Nation may be new, CBN is anything but. With a long and controversial history particularly when it comes to its founder, Pat Robertson, CBN has been at the forefront of the culture wars since the network’s inception in the early 1960s.

‘Watch out for the paramilitaries’: Right-wing militia groups aligning with GOP officials under Trump

Right-wing militias are walking out of the anti-government shadows and into the Republican Party apparatus.

Armed anti-government groups have faced existential tension after President Donald Trump’s election, but they’ve resolved the dilemma by forming a “counter-resistance” to protesters of President Donald Trump and providing security to Republican groups, reported The Trace.

Timothy Snyder, a Yale University historian, warned after the election to “watch out for the paramilitaries,” saying the “end is nigh” when “men with guns who have always claimed to be against the system start wearing uniforms and marching around with torches and pictures of a Leader.”

“When the pro-Leader paramilitary and the official police and military intermingle, the game is over,” Snyder warned.

That’s not quite what’s happening yet, but The Trace found at least five instances in three states where anti-government gun groups aligned themselves with conservative elected officials and GOP causes.

People were always mean. Especially us Americans. Donald Trump's existence just punctuated the fact.
Plus you have to factor in, that alot of the deviants of this society might be fae or affected by the lsd their parent's took in the sixties and seventies. Then now, there's the opium crisis. What little monsters are those drugs creating for our future?
I am just saying that people who were exposed to substance when they were in the womb grow up and run the world.
I am sure Donald is one of them. You all watched Deliverance did you?
