But still it did show that America COULD be a better country.
We just need to remember the pride we felt when President Obama led this country toward hope and change, and try to recapture that when next we visit the polls in 2018.
This is not who we are, we are much, much better.

Since Drumpf has removed the funding for our own U.S. version of "Exit Nazi-ism" this would be an outstanding way to raise money for that group.
DeleteInstead of blocking the permits, get sponsors to donate towards the anti-nazi reform group instead. Put up the banners, give them water bottles and bananas. All with the "thanks for your support" signs and the website for Life After Hate.

Here's a possibly irrelevant thought: Imagine the chagrin of the tiki-torch manufacturers who simply enjoyed perpetuating the faux-Polynesian kitsch tiki-bar decor! Tiki torches no longer mean Mai Tais and a pupu platter of appetizers, they are associated with a hateful strata of society!
