A smattering of conservatives show up in Nebraska for the Mom's March for America. Featuring guest speaker Sarah Palin.

 Courtesy of CBN News:

Scores of moms and women from across the country gathered in Omaha, Nebraska with a mission to reclaim their children’s “heritage through faith, family, freedom and the Constitution.”

The Mom’s March for America, organized by Homemakers for America, was dubbed as a voice for moms concerned about a moral decline across the country and an answer to the Women’s March that took place in DC earlier this year.

"We had just seen a couple months prior in D.C., this women's march that frankly didn't represent myself or any women I knew," said Dawn Wildman of Mom’s March for America.

The event only attracted about 300, though they bragged that thousands were probably going to watch the livestream.

However if they were planning to as counterpoint to the Women's March they  failed miserably, as THAT gathering attracted 2.6 million.

But hey this gathering had something that rally back in January didn't have,

The Wasilla Wendigo:

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin took the time to encourage the women attending, particularly the moms.

"The best day in my life was the day I became a mom...No better job in the world. None more exciting, none more important," Palin told the women. "It is a war out there for our children's future," she continued.

She went on to speak about the importance of seizing the moment.

“You gotta seek out those opportunities to be in the battle when God has an open door for you,” she said.

You know if she enjoyed being a mom so much, you might think she would have actually spent time with her kids, or stayed home with a newborn rather than losing an election to be vice president.

This is just another of a long line of failed attempts by conservatives to compete with the progressives.

Liberals throw a giant history making rally to protest Donald Trump, and the conservatives host some tiny, poorly attended knitting circle in an attempt to compete.

It's just goddamn sad is what it is.

Here's a little helpful hint for the future.

If the only "celebrity" speakers you can attract to your little soiree are Candy Carson and Sarah Palin your best move is to call the whole thing off and just accept the fact that you are really bad at organizing things.

Why doesn't Sarah Palin not write books and go away after the 2008 election, you know, like conservatives are telling Hillary Clinton to do?!?! They're nothing if not hypocritical.

I watched the video clip. I should not have done so. Ol' Sarah P is still an idiot. I guess that was her 'earthquake' supporters. Who is paying her? Steve Bannon? The Koch brothers? The Mercers? Whoever it is, she's selling herself at bargain basement and/or dollar store deep discounts. OR has she been promised something that will not be delivered?

*sad* (h/t the #45 dotard precedent)

Great Moms? Why is Track a drug addict, why is Piper slow in school? Why did Bristol have to have babies out of wedlock?

Why did Willow vandalize a home, why can't Bristol keep her legs shut, why does Piper skip school, why does Track beat women, why hasn't Trig gotten the help he needs.

I've always admired Sarah for taking her kids with her and including them in her professional life. And making time for those road trips and vacations. Trig was ALWAYS with her and it's kind of interesting how NO man, who has kids, is called anything negative for having a job.

Interesting indeed. Is there a reason no liberal comments on that?

4:19PM - I think you are right when you say that no man who has kids is called anything negative for having a job. Most liberals would agree with that statement.

However, you were not paying attention when Sarah Palin used Trig as a prop. When this innocent child should have been sleeping, his mother was using him for photo-ops late in the evening. You weren't paying attention when she was politicking on the road and all of the adults had on coats, gloves, or hats and baby Trig was taken outside and was seen only in his diaper with no pants on. The list goes on and on. But again, you weren't paying attention - but we were.

Happy to comment. Liberals do things to help and support women and men who work and parent. Conservotards take away that support and try to force women back into stay at home mom roles.

The problem with Palin is that she never acknowledged the luck and privilege that kept her from being charged with child neglect.

Even so, her kids have not been model citizens. And career-wise, she's a washed-up harpy. Failed at both roles.

"including them in her professional life"

      1) She never had a professional life or job, she posed while Todd tried to run things.
      2) She hid behind her kids because she is a slow witted dullard who couldn't answer questions and the kids provided a shield.
      3) Trig was adopted to provide 'Pro life' creds. She referred to him as the "retarded one."
      4) If DNA is ever collected with a verifiable chain of custody her Trig hoax will be blow to smithereens and the true amoral dishonesty of the sociopathic POS will be revealed. It probably will never happen since she has faded into ignoble obscurity and no one gives a hoot anymore. She will continue to 'shine' at PTA meeting where the participants aren't aware that she is a complete phony.

There's plenty of fertil ground when it comes to bad parenting in regards to Alicia's squatting in her liberal folks spare room, and Palins total lack of parenting skills. My heart goes out to your parents,Dingbat. I doubt screech has Ever changed her grandkid Trig's shitty drawers. Its called Postage, and PIG. Sarah has never parented in her life. I'm 52 and have never been a Mom, my only sibling also does not have children but we, my husband included, think that there has been something lost in this latest two generations of children and that something seems to be politeness and any sense of etiquette.

We're all Atheists so nothing that seems awry to us is based on any sort of religious beliefs, we just feel that the last 20 years of human spawn, in America only mind you, seem stupid, crass and rude.

Nice to see Sally still accompanies her daughter. What happened to Trig? Did he get any treatments to make up for what Sarah Lou neglected? That was the most pathetic part of the Palin saga that I know. Trig needed early therapy to be able to do better. How can she live with herself after neglecting that boy?

Track's life is tragic but he didn't need help with Down Syndrome that he didn't get. It is going to eat him alive that he had to be so shady pretending about his military set up. Poor Bristol is just slow, if Sarah didn't drop her on her head it may just be genetic. Willow once had some spunk, now she looks bought off. I hope Piper has some brain cells and can be independent one day.
It would not be easy to be born to the worst mother in Alaska.

Ok, my rant of the day...

I hate it when people say that being a mom is a job.

Whether a child is planned or not, having a child is a choice and a life long commitment & huge responsibility. It should come from love and not considered a job or duty.

It demeans children to consider them the result of someone's duty. Maybe when you grow up being someone's job, you end up being a piece of sh*t beating women, breaking into houses & continuing the legacy of producing more "duty" children because you have no self worth or desire to better yourself with education.

End of rant, time for more coffee!

It may seem kind of harsh, but I get annoyed at all of these self-righteous religious folks.

I, for one, agree with you. I raised two and never seemed like a "job" to me. I enjoyed the time I spent with them and the chance to raise good people. It was time consuming and a bit challenging. But not a job.
