Somebody on Twitter also added this. Just in case this article is too subtle.German press WARN: "Trump has transformed the United States into a laughing stock and he is a danger to the world."https://t.co/IylLtoze5x— Duty To Warn (@duty2warn) September 23, 2017
Every high school government teacher in the country, currently teaching about the rise of the Third Reich, should be showing tapes of Trump rallies, and posting his tweets which attack the press, and telling their students "That, boys and girls, that is how it happened."The Germans, above all others, can see the pattern and danger in Trumpism. I was watching an old episode of the Twilight Zone a while back called “He’s Alive”. In it, Dennis Hopper played Peter Vollmer, an unsuccessful, neo-Nazi rabble rouser who finds himself being mentored by a shadowy figure who is easily recognizable as Adolf Hitler. I found this part of the dialog to be particularly unsettling and prescient:
ReplyDeleteLet us start by your learning what are the dynamics of a crowd. How do you move a mob, Mr. Vollmer? How do you excite them? How do you make them feel as one with you?
I don’t know. How?
Join them first, Mr. Vollmer.
Join them?
Yes! When you speak to them, speak to them as if you were a member of the mob. Speak to them in their language…on their level. Make their hate…your hate. If they are poor, talk to them of poverty. If they are afraid, talk to them of their fears. And if they are angry, Mr. Vollmer…if they are angry, give them objects for their anger. But most of all, the thing that is most of the essence, Mr. Vollmer, is that you make this mob an extension of yourself. Say to them things like…things like, “They call us hate mongers. They say we’re prejudiced. They say we’re biased. They say we hate minorities…minorities. Understand the term, neighbors. Minorities. Should I tell you who are the minorities? Shall I tell you? We! We are the minorities!” That way, Mr. Vollmer. Start it that way.
And they better watch out themselves. The far right just won the most seats in their government since the rise of the Nazi's in 1933.....
ReplyDeleteTrump supporters will soon be wearing T-shirts that say, "Laughing stock and proud of it!" -- on alternate days along with "I'm a Deplorable!"
ReplyDeleteDuring the rally, 18-year-old college student Edgar Magana wore a “Dangerous Faggot” shirt ― the title of Milo’s previous campus speaking tour ― with an American flag wrapped around his neck.
DeleteHe said universities across America are “destroying Republican life on campus”
I just saw a clip of Trump's Alabama rally whwere he spoke more insults of Kim Jong Un spinning he should have been dealt with before. After insinuating warfare his stupid crowd
ReplyDeletecheered. When Trump assured them they will be protected the crowd went wild. Do his stupid followers have any knowledge of nuclear bombs? Do they not care about citizens of nearby countries?
They are oblivious that Trump is goading and provoking all world leaders while conning them he is all powerful looking out for them. Some of his supporters may be ignorant but most by now seem stupid.
Hannibal. I mean Cannibals in Russia. Couple ate 30 folks since 1999. Don't they have food there?
ReplyDeleteTHIS. American Citizens?>"The controversy over NFL players kneeling during the national anthem has managed to become the number one issue in America, despite MILLIONS of US citizens in Puerto Rico living without water or power after Hurricane Maria."
ReplyDelete"If you step back and think about it for a bit, though, the idea that a sports league “must respect” the flag is actually very strange. We don’t listen to the national anthem at other mass cultural events."Playing the national anthem before national sports games started for very specific historical reasons — the need to get the public to help the war effort during World Wars I and II, specifically. This justification no longer held after 1945, but leagues came to realize that infusing sports with patriotism was great ADverti$ing and continued the practice. The NFL playing the national anthem is less about genuine honor for the country and more a way of keeping fans invested in professional football.
" Kneeling during the national anthem is no more inherently disrespectful than the NFL turning patriotic displays into a marketing tactic is. The fact that the president is singling out Kaepernick and other NFL players who are protesting racism says that despite what Trump says, this is very much about RACE."

“Dangerous Faggot” >"Milo Yiannopoulos didn’t get his “Free Speech Week.”
ReplyDelete"Sunsara Taylor with the New York City-based activist group Refuse Fascism called Yiannopoulos a “salivating sycophant for Trump” and took aim at the White House in a speech to crowds.
“We’re glad Milo got canceled but we’re here because we have white supremacists in the White House. Trump and Pence have got to go.”

“Yes,” Wintrich replied." IDOL>

This only frustrates the work of serious public servants like National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki R. If Trump is being so blantant - why in the Hell aren't the Republicans in Congress doing something about it? Are they all idiots and falling in line for Hitler II?
ReplyDeleteVote every fucking Republican out of office as you get the chance, Americans! They are doing us zero good and do not support the poor and minorities. We have the numbers to beat their sorry asses at the voting booth!
