Robert Mueller investigation now shifts focus to Donald Trump.

Courtesy of the New York Times:

Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, has asked the White House for documents about some of President Trump’s most scrutinized actions since taking office, including the firing of his national security adviser and F.B.I. director, according to White House officials.

Mr. Mueller is also interested in an Oval Office meeting Mr. Trump had with Russian officials in which he said the dismissal of the F.B.I. director had relieved “great pressure” on him.

The document requests provide the most details to date about the breadth of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, and show that several aspects of his inquiry are focused squarely on Mr. Trump’s behavior in the White House.

In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s office sent a document to the White House that detailed 13 different areas that investigators want more information about. Since then, administration lawyers have been scouring White House emails and asking officials whether they have other documents or notes that may pertain to Mr. Mueller’s requests.

Among the 13 areas for which Mueller is seeking documents are those pertaining to that meeting Trump had with the Russian officials the day after he fired James Comey.

Another deals with the circumstances surrounding the firing of Michael Flynn, and still another concerns that Trump Tower meeting that Junior had with the Russian attorney.

Mueller's team also recently questioned Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein concerning the firing of James Comey.

You may remember how oddly important it was for Donald Trump to publicly state that James Comey informed him three different times that he personally was not under FBI investigation.

Well Donnie, you personally are most definitely now under investigation.

If he is finally under investigation, then i expect some kind of false flag event that leads to war or a resignation soon. But knowing how dumpster operates i expect a destracting false flag event 9/11 style because he is guilty as fuck and he knows he is going to jail.

He's not currently under investigation as there has been no Federal subpoena with any Trump name on it but it seems they are going after the campaign and associated folks now, many of whom were are are still in his service.

Lack of credibility”: No one wants to hire lying Sean Spicer

The former White House press secretary's daily lying has made him untouchable — even at Fox News.

...The collective pass represents a public rebuke for Spicer, who hired an agent and met with ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox News representatives soon after leaving the White House.

It’s rather extraordinary that there are no TV takers for Spicer. After all, lots of people who have no creditability get paid to pontificate about politics. (We’re looking at you, Jeffrey Lord.) And to be able to hire a high-profile name from the Trump administration, such as Spicer, seems to make sense from a strictly marketing and branding position. After all, celebritydom sells. So on paper, this should have been the easiest job Spicer ever landed.

Yet there are no takers … even from Fox News!

    1. Spicer doesn't have a face for television so he could try radio, but he doesn't have the voice for that either.

If he can write, he might try one of the few remaining newspapers but alas, there are plenty of journalists WITH integrity that can right a damned sight better than he can.

Gee, I wonder if Anthony Scaramucci might have a position for Spicer. Walking his dog or something.

Well, he still has the Harvard gig. Guys like him that have been involved for so long and nearing retirement age, why don't they just retire and enjoy life?

    3. Spicer if 45.

      Hardly "close to retirement age."

Like I said, he doesn't have the face for TV. Looks way older than he is.

It's not necessarily Trump himself under investigation now as there has been no subpoena issued in his name, but the White House internal communications structure is getting some scrutiny. Will be interesting in the least what comes from it.

    1. No he is definitely under investigation, as has been the conclusion of virtually every reporter covering this.

Trump's subpoena will not come until Mueller has all of his ducks in a row and feels confident that he has enough evidence to make that request.

But I have no doubt that it is in the works.

How Putin’s Spies Infiltrated the Trump Campaign

Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency entered a new crisis at the end of this week with the resignation of Paul Manafort, his campaign manager, amid allegations of dirty money and Kremlin connections.

Manafort was brought into the campaign in late March to give the Trump campaign focus as it prepared for the Republican party convention. His predecessor, Corey Lewandowski, possessed limited political experience and had been managing a sandwich shop before he was hired to head up Trump’s presidential bid.

Although Manafort possessed ample political experience, not all of it was welcome. The veteran 67-year-old Republican consultant had helped to elect Ronald Reagan in the 1980s, then George H. W. Bush in 1988, but he had not worked on a Republican presidential campaign since Bob Dole’s failed bid in 1996.

Manafort instead spent ample time overseas, serving as a fixer for various foreign governments – not all of them savory or democratic. Among the regimes Manafort worked for include anti-communist rebels in Angola, Ferdinand Marcos in the Philippines, and Zaire’s notorious dictator Mobutu Sese Seko.

Someone is rope-a-doping Donald Trump with the Paul Manafort wiretap story

...On Monday evening, it was revealed that Paul Manafort had been under secret FISA wiretap surveillance both during and after the election. Notably, no details were included as to what had been caught on that wiretap. By Tuesday, more details were leaked including the fact that Manafort had been caught communicating about the Trump campaign with the Russians. By Wednesday, those details became darker, as it was revealed that Manafort had offered to give a Kremlin oligarch regular briefings about the campaign. There’s a reason it’s playing out this way.

Even though these leaks are being given to different major news outlets, their nature strongly suggests that they’re all coming from the same place. That source could have leaked all of this at once. But by stretching it out this way, it gives Donald Trump the opportunity to foolishly step in it by issuing some kind of partial denial. Thus far he hasn’t done so, but his nature is to lash out. So if not today, then tomorrow or the next day, Trump will angrily tweet that Manafort did this all on his own.

That’s when this same source will leak the part that begins to incriminate Donald Trump himself. That’ll come in the form of intercepted phone calls in which Manafort briefed Trump about his plan to collude with Russia, or something along those lines. We know that part happened. Manafort wouldn’t have made such a major decision without running it past Trump. The source – whoever is leaking this – is just waiting for Trump to step in it before dropping the hammer.

Robert Mueller Blindsides Mike Pence with Recorded Surveillance Now in Play

The big news surrounding Paul Manafort being wiretapped under secret FISA surveillance both during and after the 2016 election affects a lot more people than just Manafort himself.

Popular vote loser Donald Trump could be in a whole heap of trouble for his communication with Manafort throughout 2016 and 2017, and it turns out, Vice President Mike Pence may also be in some hot water as well.

If you’ll recall, after Chris Christie was forced out of his leadership position in the Trump transition team, it was taken over by vice president-elect Mike Pence. It’s been reported that during this time, Mike Pence and Paul Manafort regularly communicated.

The interesting part here is that Manafort had already left the Trump campaign long before Pence took over the transition, so why were they regularly communicating? There was no reason whatsoever that they should have been.

This is where it gets worse for Mike Pence.

I bet they've already gotten plenty. Once you hang out with, email or text certain nefarious types, for whatever reason, you and any of your other cohorts, are fair game for wiretapping and surveillance. American intelligence does not fuck around and they are NOT beholding to any body else. After 9/11, you better believe they take sleeping with the enemy seriously. JMO. So, yeah, I bet they are investigating DJT.
