According to White House spokesperson Trump had no reaction to his former campaign director's indictment "because it does not have anything to do with us." Say what?

Huckabee Sanders spent almost her entire time at the podium claiming that they barely knew Paul Manafort, and that this George Papadopoulos was just some volunteer that nobody in the campaign ever even bothered to talked to.

And this is despite the fact that Trump introduced Papadapolous early in the campaign as "energy and foreign policy expert," which certainly does not sound like a freaking volunteer licking envelopes in the back room somewhere. And Manafort was his campaign manager and the guy that a lot of people credited with turning the campaign around.
See?

However Huckabee's main reason for taking the podium today was crystal clear from the beginning.
Several times Huckabee Sanders made the case that the REAL evidence of collusion was between the Clinton campaign and the Russians, and that all of this is all just smoke and mirrors.

Which of course is the same meme that her boss was pushing this morning as well.

By the way that does not exactly sound as if Trump had the no reaction that Huckabee described in her lies to the White House press corps.

The facts are that the Trump White House is fully engaged in damage control right now, and that it is all about deflection, distraction, and denial.

So check THIS out. Apparently Manafort IS NOT the biggest news that came out today. Papadopolous is. Seth Abramson lays out how this announcement signals the end of Trump in the White House:

Love the photo of the note written on her hand. Listening to Sanders is jaw dropping especially after watch campaign clips of Trump praising Manafort, calling his team on stage and photos of Papandopolous at the conference table for a foreign security meeting and named a foreign security advisor. I laughed at the team on the stage as Trump stated “we are all winners!” A collection of like minded who believe it is not how you play but whether you win club.

"None of those claims were true. Not only did Papadopoulos knowingly connect with the Kremlin-linked professor after he joined the campaign, he also met the mystery Russian woman in person, and Skyped with her multiple times, according to the indictment.
FBI officials interviewed Papadopoulos again on February. The following day, he deleted his Facebook account, where he had been communicating with the professor and a Russian official, and created a new account, scrubbed of all the old messages. Days later, Papadopoulos ditched his phone and started using a new number.
He was arrested July 27 in Dulles International Airport, according to his indictment. Since his arrest, which remained secret until now, Papadopoulos has met with investigators to answer more questions—and cooperate with Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe of ties between Trump Tower and the Kremlin."

Donald Trump realizes he’s screwed, floats desperate compromise for his exit from office

...On the day the criminal charges were revealed, Trump quietly used his longtime pal Chris Christie to float the notion that he may not seek reelection in 2020. Now Trump is using his newfound ally Rand Paul to float that notion again, this time a bit more loudly and consciously (link). It’s clear what Donald Trump is doing here: he’s quietly testing the waters to measure the public’s appetite for the idea of leaving him alone if he agrees not to run again. The mere fact that Trump is floating something like this is stunning.

Set aside for a minute what you think Trump’s prospects are of surviving this. The key here is that he now believes his presidency is in severe trouble. Always one to try to make a deal, and always willing to walk away when he’s losing (six bankruptcies and so forth), Trump is now signaling that he’s willing to trade away any possibility of a second term if he’s allowed to complete his current term before exiting.

The American people are not going to be willing to settle for this kind of deal. The majority want him impeached, removed, tried, and imprisoned for his crimes. Donald Trump now appears to realize that this is a very real possibility, and thus he’s trying to find some kind of desperate compromise for his exit from office that would allow him to save face.

“I don’t know enough about it,” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UH) told reporters in the Capitol on Monday when asked about the indictments. “I do know Paul Manafort ... I’d be surprised if Paul broke any laws.”

Top Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley (IA) — who chairs the Judiciary Committee, which is investigating Russia’s alleged interference in the election — avoided the subject more dramatically. He escaped a press conference on religious liberties after a reporter inquired about Manafort, nearly knocking over the American FLAG$ set up behind the podium."

"The White House says it has no “plans” to remove Mueller for now, but Trump has raged against the indictments, and the Russia investigation altogether, seeking to turn the blame to Clinton and Democrats. If Trump were to fire Mueller in an attempt to end this investigation, the ensuing political crisis would be unmatched in recent US history."

I realize that today's indictments are no bombshell but following the money might actually lead to some more important people being indicted, or not, who knows.

Rich people are generally pretty good at covering their trails and I have to believe that Manafort would rather do some white collar jail time than implicate Russia in his dealings. Being alive in an American white collar prison is a lot better than rolling on Russia and ending up dead.

It seems to me that Bristol Palin is "obsessed with sex." She should be busy raising her children, including a baby and a toddler and a child in elementary school, and working at a "real job," the kind where you show up every day and take home a paycheck at the end of the week. Most women who have to do that are too busy to waste their time on Facebook or Twitter or whining on the Internet.

Beaglemom, how is Bristol obsessed with sex? She's pretty prudish. She doesn't whine. She doesn't treat people as poorly as they treat her (and that bugs you clearly since you have ignorant preconceived notions). She literally has 3 kids, all conceived with two people who chose with her to have a family. FACT.

I don't understand where liberals get their stupid opinions.

Every time someone says something sexual or even the word twerk, she blushes.
