It was just a few minutes of audio and video, but it was so packed with vulgar, sexist and curse-laden language that some expected it to derail Donald Trump’s run for the White House.
Now, just days removed from the one-year anniversary of the Access Hollywood tape’s release, a group devoted to fighting sexism wants to make sure President Trump and the rest of the country remember what he told Billy Bush while on a tour bus in 2005.
The group, Ultraviolet, will splash the video across a screen almost 10 feet high and 16 feet wide set in between the White House and the Washington Monument on Constitution Avenue, and the images and the audio of Trump’s comments will run over and over Friday for 12 consecutive hours. The clip will start rolling at 9 a.m. EDT.
Wow, so that means this thing is currently running quite close to the White House.
I bet this is really making Trump's day.
Perhaps the one thing that will forever nag me is why this tape did not end Trump's candidacy the minute it hit the public airwaves?
Because it certainly should have.

ReplyDeleteWhat I can't understand is why Billy Bush was fired? A reporter is supposed to draw information out of their subject; a good reporter brings out surprising, off-colored information you may not have expected. What did he do wrong?

I voted for Clinton the second time and I think he was a predator and Monica the prey, and the was they treated her when it became public was abominable. But I liked his policies better than the alternative so I voted for him anyway. Votes are often very complicated and not based on a single reasonxx

Months went by and she was nowhere to be seen living in NY. Who summoned her to save his presidency by becoming his "Nancy Reagan" because his brain no longer functions, especially his mouth and memory parts?
He forgot where the hell he was when meeting with another leader and walked away in the middle of the session and had to be guideded back, called press to observe him signing exec order but he didn't sign it, couldn't remember to get in waiting vehicle when he got off airplane and had to be redirected...
All those brain farts and suddenly Melabnormal is at his elbow even when he can't remember who she is or that she is there by his side. (shook her hand at podium and another time said she had wanted to be there and she was standing beside him but apparently Drumpf unaware or did not recognize her)
The man is severely more compromised mentally than when he was campaigning. Congressional Mercer, Koch puppets need to do their job, and it is not to kiss ass of moneyed charlatans including Putin who also put rubles in Ryan, Walker and McConnell's hands during campaign.
The Trump cult, including the legislators labeled Republikkkans, need to be ousted so we can get on with some governing before it is too late. The whole damned lot, cabinet members included, are screwing us daily and acting like Russian oligarchs. Out with the entire lot!
