I get it, Trump took a few minutes at a golf event to dedicate a trophy to Puerto Rico. Now that is compassion in Trump World.
DeleteTrump was briefed about the shooting in Las Vegas. Compassion? After he is removed from office he can always find work for Hallmark cards. However, Pence wins the the tweet compassion award with the historic slaughter in Vegas.
After Mayor Cruz made her desperate plea for distribution of water, food and fuel demonstrating courage Trump called her the weak leader.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Trump responded to the pleas and needs. That is for others to do and Trump to steal credit for. Trump did not respond to what was begged for instead he ranted smearing everyone including all of the media. Trump did praise the Governor who threw the mayor under the bus. Others responded while Trump tweeted shocking blame and criticism.
In Trump's pathological world up is down and black is white like saying someone with empathy and compassion is weak. Or launching degrading humiliating tweets is powerful.
It is sick to dedicate a golf trophy to victims of the worst hurricanes in history.

DeleteMichael Che did an excellent job of calling Trump out on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update. And I don't believe all of that was scripted either. It was a joy to behold. I think I'll watch it again.
